39.6' Adams & Radford ADAMS 12

PRIVATE SALE: Adams 12m alloy sloop. It is triple cutter rigged, all new rigging (Every nut and bolt) 2015. On the hard stand high and dry in Phuket now. THe previous owner had her stored for 1.5yrs and myself over 4 years have had her on the dry dock for about 2 years total.


- Re-powered with rebuilt engine 2017, 100 hours since install. Yanmar 3GM30.

-Rudder (whitlock) assembly completely disassembled and rebuilt for peace of mind in big seas.

- Water tanks were corroded, new ones built out of food grade fiberglass. 400 litres

- Fuel tank in good condition no leaks or any problems, 200L diesel. (Engine draws about 1.5L per hour @ 5-6 kts)

- New 2.7m alluminum transom DIngy, 3hp yamaha and 8 hp yamaha outboards.

- 12v fridge new 2013, battery powered all day all night for ice cold drinks!

- L shaped galley, force 10 gas stove and oven.

- Tri Cabin layout, professionnal teak interior drawers and closets in each of the 3 cabins.

- Electric head.

- EchoPilot forward looking sonar. This is the best piece of gear Ive ever bought. It sees 3m forward for every 1m depth so you can litterally see reefs in the dark.

- Replaced all the lifelines 2016

- New Main 2012 Fully battened for great upwind perormance.

- 1.5m draft, with drop keel. With keel down draws 2.4m for upwind performance. SHallow draft when keel up allows acces to so many beautiful anchorages in the area!


- 2 SUP boards included for the right buyer. For exploring the caves and mangroves.

Original owner circumnavigated this boat, shes a very fast cruiser and handles the big seas well. My plan was to circumnavigate and shes pretty much ready to go! Liferaft onboard requires service, and most the electronics are due aside from the EchoPilot system. Other than those items, I would be fully confident sailing her to South Africa-Brazil, or over to Australia and the South Pacific.
