Description: The Morgan 462 was the last and finest of the line of older Morgan 46s designed and built by Charlie Morgan. The 462s were aimed at the blue water cruising market and are well built, having a solid fiberglass hull and deck with a plywood core.

This boat currently lies in Greece and is easily accessible from Athens. If you have ever dreamed of sailing your own boat thru the Greek islands, this is your chance. The owners have finished their sailing plans since crossing the Atlantic in 2010 and cruising throughout the Mediterranean for several years. She's ready to go and you could be sailing the islands this spring and summer!

The hull design is an excellent bluewater design, having heavy displacement, a modified full keel design, and a protected skeg hung rudder. It is also a center-cockpit design permitting crew comfort, good all around visibility, and a large owner's stateroom and head aft.

The boat is ketch rigged to enable it to carry maximum or minimum sail plans and sail areas and to be manageable by a short-handed crew or couple.

The interior design is spacious and sensible.
The boat has tons of storage space throughout, in various easily accessed lockers, cabinets, and drawers.

At the bow is a robust dual anchor platform and electric windlass. At the transom is a teak swim platform and a swim ladder. She comes with good sails, a 120% genoa, a new fully battened main with lazy jacks, and a mizzen, as well as a storm headsail.

You will find this Morgan 462 to be an excellent liveaboard boat, whether you are cruising or dockside.

Her hull and cockpit have been coated with the finest Interlux Perfection epoxy. Her interior teak and bulkheads have been varnished with a hand rubbed finish. She is very clean, comfortable and fresh.
