| Description: |
It's 58 H.P. diesel engine will drive the vessel at 6 knots when running at 1800 RPM and only utilize 3/4 gal/hour of fuel.
Aft of the cockpit is a large lazerette, back deck and access to the dinghy davits. For off shore cruising there is adequate room to store a dinghy on deck. The navigation instruments are housed in two pods which are directly in front of the the steering wheel. When not under sail, the boom is restrained by a gallows to prevent it from swinging. Unique features below deck include: a separate stall shower, a diesel cabin heater, a refrigeration box opening which enables top and front access, great ventilation provided by 4 large Bowmar hatches and 14 side opening ports. All are screened. Other features include: engine access from the aft state room via a full size door, and side access from 3 opening hatches. Although the yacht was built in 1983, it's age is not apparent. It has never been in charter, it has spent most of its time in fresh water of the Chesapeake Bay, it has been hauled every year during the winter months to allow accumulated moisture in the hull to dissapate although it has been treated with a vapor barrier and it's maintenance has been excellent. I have spent over $30,000 in refurbishment and upgrades. The interior and exterior are in mint condition and all of the electronics have been replaced within the last two years.
