The bottom paint was stripped to the bare hull, Interlux 2000E epoxy barrier coat was applied, then Trinidad (75%Copper)
was applied (red covered by black)....Prop was copper plated and greenish Cuprous Oxide fends off the barnacles...
Topsides and insides were painted with poly urethane paints
Bilges and any recessed or hidden areas were cleaned with caustic cleaners down to the factory fiber-glass
and painted with gloss white polyurethane. New floor plywood and Pressure Treated stringers were installed, then durable
vinyl flooring was applied with metal edges for traction and protection.
Battery-s were moved from the engine compartment to under the main stairs, where they are cooler and can
be easily maintained. This allows better access to the engine. Much work was done re-arranging , painting,
and lighting the engine room so u can get to everything...even sit down and work with adequate lighting!
ALL NEW WASTE SYSTEM...
NEW Electric toilets were added with a NEW central holding tank (30 gal approximate) in the engine room . Tank can be emptied via dock waste system or NEW macerator pump at sea.
Custom dining table in salon was modified so it can be lowered for sleeping quarters or for storage.
Custom lighting incorporating the latest 12vdc LED, CFL, Halogen technology was used through out.
Propane stove was replaced with custom made storage drawers and solid surface burner top |
