Vessel was sailed over from Denmark to Vancouver Island BC Canada in 1978.
PROVIDENCE has served as a commercial fishing vessel on the BC coast as well as voyages offshore and coastal. The fish hold was removed in 2004 and a new main salon was built, she now sleeps 12 persons in 2 double cabins, 2 upper and lower cabins and 4 in single berths in salon.
