40' or bigger Sailboat Wanted ( BeggerMaster ) To start with thanks for taking the time to read this :) Well in the oppion of a few Doc's I have been found to be disabled. Bad heart and chronic pain in legs and joints and some other bullcrap I seem to have been blessed with. Right now we are living on my Wife's income which is not much as she is disabled as well, She has been that way for the past twelve years. Has a strong spirt and a big heart but pays for it dearly when she tries and do to much. Which thanks to me and my problems and her Mom who is about on her last legs and our hospital stays, Has been a lot for her lately. Everyday you hear on TV shows people giving away millions, Buying people houses, cars all kinds of stuff. So if you have a sailboat that is big that you don't need or want anymore and are in the giving mood " I can't afford a decent pot to piss in so to speak " But I would sure be gratefull to take it off your hands. I would like one setup to single hand or that can be sailed by two people. Between relatives, friends and the kids I am sure I can git her done. All things above about our physical being and financial situation are true and can be confermed. I am not asking for the moon. Only someone to help me see a dream. What I am hoping for is a boat somewhat similiar to the ones pictured below, Atleast 40' in length and capable of sleeping comfortably 6 adults. Has shower, hot and cold water and a full galley with refer. A solor system and possile a wood stove. I am not really expecting much mainly what I want it to be able to do right now is sail, motor "inboard diesel that runs good" AND most of all is good solid safe hull.Something big enough I can do weddings on. I have family that can help me with work on the boat. Strong backs and ok minds :P My wife and I have seven kids between us and 12 grandkids.The kids are all grown and all but one are out of the house. The one that's in is 18 and a big big help for us. Good boy and a very hard worker. Yes I am a dreamer. But people help dreamers everyday. Anyplace beyond 100 miles of Newport Oregon I will need help getting to the boat. Thanks Again.
