The 423 was named Cruising Boat of the Year by Cruising Magazine and named to Sail magazines Top 10 Sailboats in 2003. The 423 is a true performance bluewater cruiser designed by Group Finot, proponents of the Open 60 concept.
This Beneteau 423 has only seen light use, primarily in Southern California and has never been raced or cruised. The boat is in excellent condition and was recently hauled in March 2007 for a complete inspection. Shes effortless to sail shorthanded with all lines leading back to the cockpit. Entertaining at anchor is equally comfortable with a spacious cabin and cockpit that house all the amenities for time on the water.
2 Cabin Version with a large owners stateroom forward with ensuite head and a separate shower. The main Salon is large and comfortable with abundant 65 headroom. To Port is an opposing settee, adjacent to a forward facing nav station. The Aft Stateroom is very generous with a hanging locker and private access to the aft head and shower. Interior cabinetwork is a cherry stained African Douka Mahogany which provides an elegant interior.
Three large windows face the bow from the salon, in combination with numerous portlights, ports and hatches there is an abundance of light below without the exaggerated coachroof of a raised salon. |
