One of the reasons the Catalina 30 was and still is one of the most popular sailing vessels out there is the interior volume, 6'3" headroom and the sailing characteristics they endure. Starting in the v-berth you will find a generous size berth for two adults. Aft and to the port is the head with Jabsco marine head, H&C pressure water. Across from the head there are multiple drawers and a generous size-hanging locker. The main cabin consists of a bulkhead table which converts the L-shape port side settee to a double berth, a full-length settee to starboard, full length quarter-berth starbord aft, ample storage throughout and a nice size chart table with storage for all kinds of things right below with double door access. The galley has a double ss sink with pressure water ,icebox ,dry storage locker and great counter space. The boat tankage is 18 gal. fuel, 50 gal. water and 25 gal. holding.
Significant upgrades include a new full batten main and lazy jacks, new Sunbrella cushions, new stern rail seats, and a new Hurth transmission. Electrical panel upgrade with circuit breakers and reverse polarity detectors. The hull was barrier coated with 5 coats of Interlux 2000 epoxy paint and 3 coats of Micron CSC ablating bottom paint. Schrouds replaced 2004, shrouds, stanchions, bow and stern rails and mast step have been rebedded, and all of the windows have been reinstalled with new seals, no leaks. |

Includes wheel steering, a New Haarstick full batten main, new lazy jack system, spare main, 135% genoa on roller furling, wisker pole, boom vang, wheel steering, dodger, and a Sunto compass. Electronics consist of a Magellan GPS, a Apelco digital VHF, Hummingbird handheld VHF and an Autohelm/Raymarine ST 4000 autopilot. Instruments consist of Standard Horizon speedo and depth sensor (rebuilt 2008) and an inclinometer. Also included is a new 3 burner propane stove, a stern rail gas grill,and a 20 lb and a 15 lb Danforth anchors- approx. 150' rode each , the 20 lb with 50 ft chain. Primary winches are 2-speed # 40 Lewmars, the deck winch is a 2-speed # 21ST Bariant, and there are two #7 mast winches. The engine has new Hurth transmission, water pump, fuel pump, alternator, and rebuilt starter.
