Description: |
This Beneteau 405 with meticulously laid out 3-stateroom configuration is much sought after. Very well cared for, the beautiful teak interior is in excellent condition. The salon upholstery was redone in 2007, the dodger canvas and Eisenglass were replaced in February 2010 while adding mosquito netting fully enclosing the cockpit. For warm climates she is equipped with air-conditioning. Her comfortable live-aboard qualities belies her performance capabilities. She has a reputation for being a racer as well as a cruiser. The owner is insistent that all maintenance of systems and cosmetics be attended to at all times. More than $25,000 was spent professionally upgrading all electronics between 2005/2006, at which time the wiring was totally redone. The integrated Raymarine C-70 is an example of system upgrades.A jewel among the cruising/racing fleet. Forward is the spacious owner's stateroom featuring a double Pullman berth to starboard with drawers below, a settee to port, plenty of shelves, a hanging locker, (2) reading lights and a 12V fan. It is completed by an en-suite head in the forepeak containing a shower with a sump pump, manual head with holding tank, and a large opening hatch. The main salon features a large galley to port with workspace for two people, followed aft by the guest head with separate holding tank. To starboard is an L-Shaped settee also with a small centerline settee surrounding the dinette table followed aft by the forward facing Nav station. Further aft are the identical guest staterooms located port and starboard, both featuring a double berth, hanging locker, (3) shelves, (2) opening ports, (1) opening hatch, (1) fixed port, a 12V fan and a reading light. For easy access the engine compartment is nestled between the two aft staterooms. New Salon cushions and covers in 2007!! All new wiring for batteries, charger, inverter, Link 1000 and cockpit electronics installed 2005/2006 |
