30' Catalina 30 Tall Rig

Catalina 30 tall rig sailboat for sale in Tampa, Florida (Apollo Beach, Tampa Sailing Squadron). The traditionally styled Catalina 30 remains extremely popular with cruisers, due to its wide and deep hull creating exceptional volume above and below decks and for its stability under sail. Paradox offers more space than a typical 34 foot boat. There as seven full adult berths, 6’ 4” headroom and large storage areas under the settees, v-berth, q-berth and in the three cockpit lockers. There is a large anchor locker in the forepeak. Paradox spent most of her life in freshwater preserving her youth. She was originally splashed in Kentucky Lake. She is well ventilated and bright inside because of huge companionway hatch and large forward hatch. The Catalina 30 deckhouse, windows and sheer line still define the Catalina family of boats. A new, never used before, Universal model 25 xp, freshwater cooled engine with only 6 break-in hours on the clock offers years of trouble-free service. This engine replaces the original Universal model 18. She has a 3-bladed bronze prop. Like-new sails and new single-line roller furling gear offer ease of sail handling.
