Please read up on Contessas before contacting me! These boats are not for everyone, but if this is what you want then I am selling at a very good price for my boat's condition. We love our boat and want her to go to someone who will sail and appreciate her! She is a seaworthy and well-cared for JJ Taylor-built Contessa in excellent sailing condition with all the major needed rebuilding already done. This is the iconic bluewater pocket cruiser the same boat that Tania Aebbi and Brian Caldwell singlehanded around the world. Our tough girl sailed to Hawaii and back with a prior owner, was completely rebuilt 5 years ago - new deck core, restepped mast, all new rigging. Sails are older but we send them to the sail loft every winter for cleaning and storage and they still have several years in them. Recent upgrades include new 3-yr bottom paint and installing a second auxiliary battery with voltmeter. Lots and lots and lots of high grade gear also available with the boat if you need it. |

As stated above, we have been actively cruising this boat and have it fully geared for cruising, including a a Bruce anchor with 100 feet of chain; Walker Bay dinghy with sail kit; Pelikan cooler; electrical, sail, rigging, fiberglass repair equipment; life jackets; cockpit rail grill; lots more. Boat also has its own custom steel cradle. |
