Transition is a well-maintained Bill Shaw design that sails well in light or heavy air. She has a shoal keel with a centerboard which makes her ideal for the shallow waters of Florida without forsaking pointing ability. Transition has sailed the East Coast from Annapolis to Florida and beyond to the Bahamas and is a solid sailing vessel. She has had two owners that have had her professionally maintained.
