39' Nautical Development Stevens Custom 39

Mardi Gras is a stable seaworthy sloop who has served me well for 11 years.When new she was a charter boat in the Virgin Islands. I spoke to the owner who ordered her who had the charter operation in St Martin. She is number 9 of 10 built. She has the same layout as a mid 70s Morgan 38 out island.
I have made many improvements in the 11 years I have sailed her and she now has just about everything a sailor would want or need.
I have sailed her from Mobile Bay to Brunswick Georgia and all the points in between including three winters spent in the Bahamas.
I had the lower hull painted last year.
I installed new Garmin touch screen chart plotter with wind and depth and a new masthead anchor led light
Zarcor hatch doors were installed last year.

When I purchased her I installed a used. 8kw diesel generator and a new Mermaid a/c and heat system. The standing and running rigging had just been replaced when I purchased her. Last winter I had Keys Rigging adjust and check everything and install a new led mast head anchor light. The new wind instrument was installed then as well.
In 2011 I replaced the engines cylinder head which was damaged by the previous owner.
In 2012 she got a new refrigeration system.
She also has a large bank of house batteries with a 2000 watt inverter.
I new ice maker went in last year
