39' Beneteau 393

New York

Description: The fastest 393 on the water, optimized for speed & ease of handling, lovingly cared for, odor free, waxed 2x/year, high tech sails, incredible list of upgrades, perfect removable dinghy system (dinghy extra$)

Most equipment, tools and supplies stay on boat! Buy only life jackets & batteries to sail.

Includes stern fold-up seats and unused white window curtains not show in picture.

Single owner in excellent condition, not to be mistaken with lower cost 393's in charter fleets. Has received continuous upgrades focused on Racing, Cruising, and ease of operation for crew members and solo sailing.

A tour of the boat can be found here:

Her improved racing upgrades also make her a better cruiser in light and heavy wind. She has won many racing trophies including best performing cruising yacht within the 63 yacht clubs of YRA Long Island Sound.

Before upgrades she was already designed as a blue water capable family cruising boat lauded for build quality, spacious cockpit, bright interior, versatility in cruising and day sailing, and comfortable motion under sail. This 2 cabin version has more storage cabinets than most sailboats under 45 feet, great for maintaining a clutter free living environment.

After I purchased almost every factory option (large engine, bigger winches, A/C & Heat, electrical, etc.), I added performance rigging such as adjustable back stay, adjustable whisker pole on track, performance headstay furler, adjustable jib cars, upgraded blocks everywhere, performance sail inventory, racing prop, 4 rounds of electronics upgrades, electrical upgrades, & LED lighting.

The sails are low stretch high tech sails. They take each gust and go forward, rather than heel over as Dacron sails would. In addition to simply going faster, this allows you to sail her in higher winds before reefing. Sails:
2015 Doyle Fiberlay Mainsail with Tide Marine slides and Dutchman Flaking System
2015 150% Doyle Fiberlay Cruising Genoa
2006 Cruising Chute

*One of the best things about the integrated electronics, many displays, and superior sensor system is how the boat provides captain and crew feedback on their success at trimming the sails. It's much easier to be in sync with the boat when you have measurements of the true wind.
