Description: Well constructed, well designed, trailerable, and recently repowered with an efficient and reliable Honda engine, this s2 8.0b is a comfortable but racy cruiser has a very reliable engine. The head features a marine porta potti, eliminating any concerns with a 40 year old holding tank and attendant lines, often the apparent cause of icky boat smells. The solid fiberglass hull and balsa-cored deck are supported with fully tabbed bulkheads, not fiberglass liners - maximizing storage space and making for a very solidly constructed boat. At only 4600 pounds and 8 feet wide, the boat trailers very well and does not constitute an unusually wide load, so no permits are required. In addition to a 12-volt DC system, the boat is also wired for AC dockside and includes a very functional AC cabin heater.

With good anchor gear ( including a high quality Delta anchor as well as a bow roller and hawse pipe to the anchor locker ), tiller autopilot, galley, enclosed head, 12-volt pressure water system, lifelines, pushpit, and pulpit, and running rigging led aft to the cockpit, Sanctuary is ready to explore the Apostle Islands and beyond, or whatever body of water you chose to sail.

The inside of this boat is very clean. As far as I know she was a freshwater boat her whole life, and thus spent only half the year in the water ( and also stayed on the hard a few seasons, I've heard). She also stays very dry inside - none of the through hulls admit any water, and since the engine has a sail drive lower unit, there's no hole for the prop shaft to leak.

Trailer included! Prospective buyers should inquire about delivery options. Depending on the location, I can bring the boat to you.

Seller is currently searching for his next vessel, is motivated to sell, and will consider all offers. Best offer may be accepted in spring 2019.
