Description: |
This is a beautiful boat that's 95% finished with a refit. There is some trim left to do and that's it. We have owned the boat for the past 9 years.
It was repowered in 2016 with a 2006 Yanmar 2GM15 which replaced the original Yanmar 2YM15.
Cushions are all new and recovered in 2009.
The standing rigging is in great shape. The running rigging was new 3 years ago. The sails are in good shape except the main which needs a little attention but is useable. We moved the traveler from in front of the cockpit door to over the cabin top. All deck hardware has been rebedded and has backer plates.
All running rigging is run to the cockpit for single hand ease.
Bottom coat was done many years ago but was super thick. Bottom coat consists of three coats of Petit primer. Then had three good coats of ablative bottom paint. It is good for one more season, but then will need a good coat. Shouldn't need to do anything more than light sanding.
This is really a turnkey boat. You can sail her away today. She is not in the water. It's on the trailer and available to view any time. I will take any prospective owners out on the boat and will offer to give lessons to the new owners if you'd like as long as it's fairly local, (St. Joe to Holland).
It also has a storage trailer, but I can only recommend it for short hauls. Great for from the lift to the storage yard. DISCLAIMER - I am not responsible for anything that happens if you chose to haul the trailer on the road. Please inspect the trailer and haul at your own risk. It currently has no lights, is not registered, and does not have fenders.
The reason for selling is we upgraded to a 45' Whitby. Our family is large and Reality Escape, although almost done and a wonderful boat, is just too small for our plans to travel with the family. |
