Description: The Dickerson 37 Cutter is George Hazen's best modern sailboat design using state-of-the-art computer design technologies. It is ideally designed for the shoalness the Chesapeake and Florida are known for. With a 4'6" draft this fine yacht has access to many beautiful anchorages not available to deeper draft vessels. A skeg rudder provides stable tracking and easy steering. Sailing performance is exceptional with a sail /displacement ratio (2.73). The cutter sail plan is an ideal configuration. Ferenc Mark referred to the Dickerson 37 as follows: "Overall the boat is so cleanly designed that there isn't a single bump or line or ridge anywhere that can be removed. She looks completely clean and pure."

FOXFIRE was originally owned by the owner of Dickerson Boatyard, and she was the show boat in 1984 at the Annapolis Boat Show. She is now owned by her third owner who is knowledgeable, and has kept her very well maintained, always stored indoors under his ownership, and always a Northern boat. Additionally, this boat has the preferred traditional layout, differing from many of the Dickerson 37's which were designed with an aft cabin-charter boat layout.

We shall be pleased to get you aboard this handsome vessel. Full specs at www.grayandgrayyachts.com
