Description: The 12 ton Hillyard was designed and built by David Hillyard at his yard in Littlehampton, one of many yachts built to similar designs of various lengths and sizes.
This boat was built in 1965 and is one of the mid range yachts. She is a smart and well cared for boat, capable of extended cruising if necessary but very easily managed by one person for a gentle evening sail around the bay.

Serenity was hauled out in early June 2020 for new bottom paint. The metal fastenings of the shoe and rudder brackets have experienced electrolysis and need full replacement. We had a surveyor do a full valuation survey. His letter of valuation is available upon request. She is fully capable as she currently sits, however she needs these repairs to support extensive cruising in the future.
