Like all CSYs, Destiny is constructed of solid fiberglass with no coring, yet under her roller furling genoa, staysail and main she is surprisingly responsive even under light winds and is a joy to sail as the winds increase and the waves grow larger. The main cabin, with windows both to port and starboard as well as forward, is filled with light and the 6.5 foot headroom gives the impression that you are on a much bigger boat. A dedicated nav station is starboard while the secure and extremely workable galley is opposite to port. A midline table with twin drop leafs makes it possible for five people to dine in comfort. Going forward to port is the head with a Natures Head composting toilet, sink and floor drains for the hand held shower. Across from the head is a series of drawers and a hanging locker. The V berth is large and easily sleeps two. Additional drawers are under the starboard berth. There are four opening hatches, one in the V berth, one in the head and two in the main saloon. In addition, bronze port holes add extra ventilation to the V berth, the head and main saloon.
