Description:
Pearson 303 Stella Blue has taken me to Cuba once, the Bahamas once and to Key West 3 times in the six years I have owned her. She is strong and trust-worthy with her ballast encapsulated in fiberglass in the keel, so there are no keel bolts to worry about. Her rudder is skeg mounted giving a lot of protection and security. She doesn't heel much due to the nearly 11' beam making her a stable and dry boat to sail.

I can't tell you how much I have spent on her since purchasing her in March, 2015. Plans were to keep cruising her for several years and all work has continued with that in mind. She's my baby, and I hate to sell her, but I've bought a newer bigger boat (because the wife wanted one), and now here she is.

Here's the technical, followed by a partial list of upgrades and improvements (nearly all of which were accomplished by professional marine companies I hired to do the work):

Length over all: 30' 3"
Length at waterline: 23' 4"
Beam: 10' 11"
Draft: 4' 4"
Displacement: 10,400 pounds
Ballast: 3,550 pounds (encapsulated in fiberglass in the keel)
Mast height: 48' (there is no place on the ICW that I'm aware of that she cannot go)
Cruising speed: approximately 5.5 knots
Fuel consumption with present engine: approximately .5 gallons per hour
Fresh water tank: 22 gallons (bladder)
Holding tank: 22 gallons (bladder with two-way valve for overboard discharge where legal)
Fuel tank: 22 gallons (aluminum)
6 gallon hot water tank

She is a mast-head sloop-rigged cruiser with roller furling genoa and lazy jacked main. Both sails are protected by Sunbrella cover/sacrificial strip. The main is in good condition, the genoa (approximately 115%) is in better condition (new in 2012). Both were professionally serviced by Schurr Sails in 2020.
