| Description: |
J24 Sailboat 1979 complete ready to race or cruise in very good condition. Always in fresh water. In 2006 hull striped down to gelcoat, faired sanded smooth. Keel striped down shaped and faired to J24 class templete, sanded smooth. Interprotech 2000 applied to hull and keel 6 coats. Sanded very smooth and VC17 applied 3 coats. In 2007 just light sanding and 3 coats of VC17 applied hull in excelent condition below the waterline. Above the waterline hull and deck in very good condition. Mast & boom in very good condition as is all the standing and running rigging. The sails are in good condition for club racing and cruising, Two mains, 2 genoas, jib & spinnaker. But for top competition they need to be replaced. |

1979 tandem J24 trailer in very good condition sanded, painted and new lights installed in 2007. Hyd. brakes work OK. The motor is a 1983 Honda 7.5 HP, 4 stroke in excellent condition. Serviced every winter. H.D. adj. motor mount on transom. new Harken boom vang and main cunningham in 2006. Cabin portapoti new in 2004, cabin 4 bunk cushins in excelent condition. Replace by previous owner. New battery in 2005 and all light work good. Many extras, bumpers, dock lines, anchor, chain & rope, safety equipment and more. |
