Caledonia Yawl built by Ed Segen in 2007, second owner since 2017. Always garaged on a trailer in Brewster, Massachusetts. Balanced lug main, sprit rig mizzen, with self standing masts. Egyptian cotton sails. No standing rigging, so very quick to rig and launch. Built of glued sapele mahoghany and trimmed in white oak with very unique bronze hardware and kevlar coating under water. Torqeedo Travel 1103CS Electric Motor 2024, with remote control and two batteries stored under thwarts. New solid mast (2018) and new PVC centerboard and motor mount by Areys Pond Boatyard in 2023. New loadrite trailer in 2024. Two rowing stations with two sets of 10' oars. Flotation/bouyancy packs are included and can be installed under seats. Also included is an optional conversion of push/pull tiller to an ordinary tiller, though I prefer the push/pull version.
Her mizzen enables me to easily heave-to under heavy winds, and put in up to three reefs in the main sail. She handles beautifully and is stable enough in up to 30 knot winds. She won first place in the owner build category of the 2010 International Wooden Boat Show in Mystic Connecticut (see picture of Patina on cover of 2010 boat show flyer below and also see picture of Ian Oughtred sitting in Patina at the boat show, below.)

Project Valiant 40. We've not sailed it in over 20 years so it will require a significant refit and new engine or total engine overhaul. We had the hull worked over for blistering and it worked well underwater, there are about 5 small ( 1") blisters that returned. However, the Imron paint on the topsides has badly bubbled and needs to be redone. The bubbling is only in the paint, not the structural fiberglass. The deck is generally in good shape with a few areas of blistering. The interior is in very good shape.

The boatyard professionally applied PellerClean to the propeller, strut, and shaft. Preparation, localized repairs, and coating work were photographed, including areas exposed when the blocking was moved.
Four new custom-fabricated bronze acrylic salon windows preserve Nina's original profiles while giving her a crisp, refreshed appearance. Other recent work includes a restored rub rail, repaired and reinforced stern davit, localized Awlgrip hull refinishing, and a new Kenwood stereo head unit.
Earlier improvements include a 2020 Yanmar overhaul, major AC/DC rewiring, refrigeration and galley upgrades, insulated headliner, renewed flooring, and interior finishes. Records, photographs, receipts, and wiring diagrams document the work.

Owner's Story
Akira is a fine example of the Manta 42. She has been significantly refreshed from 2017 through 2025. We bought her in May of 2024 and have cruised between Florida, the East coast to New England, to the Bahamas, Hilton Head, back to the Bahamas, and finally landing in St. Augustine, FL. We lived on Akira for 2 years. The freezer, refrigerator, Ac and/or heat, hot water tank, walk-in stand alone shower all make her extremely convenient and comfortable. The fact that those systems worked reliably and consistently made a huge difference in daily living. The solar input could generally recharge batteries by mid-day. The engines were consistently reliable to start and operate. She has been great fun and we have loved every minute of our time aboard Akira, but it is time for us to move on to our next adventure. We hope she provides the new owners with the fun, freedom, and excitement she has given us.
Upgrades:
1. New Flex Fold props June 2024. They've proven a nice upgrade. Folding feature is really nice when sailing. Note to buyer: When engines are off while sailing put the gear in idle reverse position to allow blades to fold.
2. New Ray Marine chart plotter Jan 2025.
3. New Victron 1200 inverter, Victron solar controllers, AGM house batteries and smart shunt March 2025.
4. New mainsail, Jib and sail covers January 2025.
5. New Tohatsu 20HP outboard on dinghy. Note to buyer: I picked the 20ph Tohatsu because it was the lightest option on market (94lbs); same weight as Yamaha 9.9 hp. When you are out cruising, being able to explore 2 or 3 miles around an island and away from the boat is a big advantage and a lot of fun.
6. Complete rebuild on the Spectra Cape Horn Extreme watermaker. New seals, piston, membrane. Note to buyer: Cape Horn is a famously reliable, easy to use system. We consistently made 12-15 gal per hour on the 12 volt system. Allowed us to stay off grid for weeks. Water maker was pickled on May 25 2026.

First owned by Steele Griswold - former owner of Shelburne Shipyard - Mame is a classic Sparkman & Stephens custom Tartan-41. The hull and deck were ordered unfinished from Tartan Marine and delivered to the Shelburne Shipyard where the interior and teak toe rail were installed to Mr. Griswolds specifications.
The Tartan 41 was designed by S&S at the request of Charlie Britton, founder of Tartan Marine, Co., who was eager to produce a boat to compete with the new Nautor Swans. Both were designed by S&S and are almost identical versions of the famous racing sloop Morning Cloud commissioned by Sir Edward Heath.
Midway through her racing career Steel Griswold, an engineer by training, hired S&S to oversee the modification of the hull and rudder. The original skeg and rudder were removed, and a new spade rudder was installed about a foot further aft. The underbody and keel were completely faired with a finer entry forward. The mast is a custom tall rig double spreader with Navtec rod rigging and hydraulics.
The boat was repowered, and a teak cockpit installed by the second owner complete with Harken electric winches and Raymarine electronics as well as Harken roller furling, windlass, and anchor bow roller.
Mame has always been stored and professionally maintained to the highest standard by the Shelburne Shipyard. She is now located at the Shennecosset Yacht Club, Groton, CT.

The First 310 rides on the award winning Figaro 3 racing hull designed by Groupe Finot for Beneteau. In order to increase headroom the freeboard was increased by 6". We moved to the East Coast and bought a boat there to refit, or we wouldn't be selling this beautiful vessel. With today's prices, it did not make sense to transport her overland, or we would have. We also got a dog and needed a little bigger boat!
We purchased this vessel in the SF Bay Area in July of 2018. We immediately started a refit to bring her up to current standards and cruising condition. My husband is a marine electrician, and I have worked in boatyards, so the upgrades are top-notch.

There is a spacious walk-through head with an AirHead composting toilet, all correctly set up and working well, no holding tank, no smell. I am on the East Coast when posting this listing and will add more pictures when I get to the boat in a couple of weeks.
She will sleep 6, with 2 in each area: V-berth, salon settees, and aft cabin. The boat is most comfortable for 3 people: 2 in the aft cabin and 1 in the V-berth.

This 2009 17-foot, Gaff Rigged, Com Pac sailboat is carried on an appropriate, road-worthy trailer. Both boat and trailer are currently registered in my name for ease of ownership transfer. Her size, 1500-pound displacement, and her single axle trailer allow for moving, launching, and retrieving with an SUV or similar tow vehicle. Sailing in a variety of water areas and allowing an owner to keep her in the location of his/her choice are additional advantages to owning this size boat.
The boat is in very good condition and has had its nonskid surfaces recently refreshed using Interlux Grand Banks Beige with the addition of microbubbles. The keel/centerboard hull allows for easy launch and retrieval with the added ability to improve upwind sailing when the CB is lowered. Her beam adds stability on the water yet allows for trailering and storage ashore. Her cabin interior provides protected, lockable storage and includes cushions and a port-a-potty for possibly staying aboard overnight. The hinged mast allows mast raising without use of a gin pole or marina help.
There are no through the hull openings below the waterline plus her hull and deck were constructed without Balsa coring. Those design and construction details limit water intrusion that might create structural problems.

All foam cushions sealed with plastic covering to protect from spills and sunbrella water resistant covering, all S/S staples used where wood backing is used, high grade vinyl heavy duty zippers and high grade heavy duty Velcro. This adds thousands in value!

This most unusual Herreshoff design offers a timeless example of Times Gone By. Her lines are just beautiful with her sweeping bow for heavy-chop and massive beam for stability and comfort. Without exception, she is a signature vessel of any lake or harbor.
She is a freshwater boat, never seeing saltwater, 18 feet from bow to stern and sports a massive 8-foot beam providing tremendous form and stability. She is safe, comfortable, and has plenty of room on board with her higher freeboard design.
This Herreshoff Design is a 1977, 18 SCOUT. She is a Cat Ketch rig having two unstayed masts and two cockpits separated by a cross-over deck supporting the wheel helm and a number of cleats for her rigging. She has an internal motor well with a 15hp electric start, two-stroke Johnson outboard motor with a single throttle and shift control. There is a fused switch panel for lights, pump, and a key switch to start the engine.
The wood trim on this boat is Old Growth Burmese TEAK and not the less expensive plantation teak found on most boats today. The teak is in excellent condition with tight joints and nice graining that has not been abused with stiff brushes when cleaning over the yearsJust beautiful
Another, and maybe the biggest feature of this boat, is the recently fabricated and polished aluminum tabernacles for the two masts. Two people can easily step the masts at a boat launch on the trailer. A very, very, nice rare and expensive feature.
The custom trailer is basically new with aluminum and stainless steel brackets and carpeted bunks. The boat can easily launch from most any ramp.

She was built in 1970 and sent to a dealer in Detroit, but wasn't commissioned until 1972, when a Michigan attorney bought her as new and sailed her in local waters around Petoskey, sometimes venturing up to the Channel. Her second owner, also an attorney, took possession in 1982 and sailed in the same waters, including some voyages up to the North Channel. She is a freshwater-only boat. Located in Cape Charles, Va. Josie is well equipped and ready for cruising. The current owner and two previous owners have rebuilt or upgraded much of the boat starting in 2019. There is almost too much to list. Josie is dry with no leaks or soft spots in the deck. The rig is easy to handle with sails new in 2022 in good condition. There is a high cut jib on a Schaefer roller furler, a removable hank on staysail in a deck bag, and a triple reef main. There is also an asymmetrical spinnaker in a spinnaker sock. The interior is ideal for cruising couples or a solo sailor, but can comfortably accommodate occasional guests. There is plenty of storage. The head has a separate shower. There is reverse cycle AC/heat when connected to shore power.
Unique to this vessel is a custom-built dodger completed in 2022. Dodger is carbon fiber painted to match. This provides a dry comfortable area in cockpit during passages and also holds 480 watts of flexible solar panels that offset the majority of day to day electricity use. Canvas work for the dodger completed with high quality Makrolon glass in 2022 has a nice flip up center window that allows airflow. Boat was converted over to lithium in 7/25. Installation was done at Herrington Harbor in Deale, Maryland by Marine Technical Services. There are now 3- 12.8 volt 200 amp Victron lithium batteries. Alternator was upgraded to a Balmar XT-DF-170 during the installation. There is an insulated hot water heater tied to engine that keeps hot water for about 2 days. There is a 70 pound spade anchor with 200 feet of chain replaced in 2025. There is a custom winter cover. Engine is a 1988 Yanmar 4jhe, partial rebuild in 2025, 1200 hours on the engine. This Morgan Classic has been our home and our vehicle for a serious ocean passage, not a weekend sail. We left Texas in May 2024, traveled the ICW down to Gulfport, Mississippi, and then made the offshore crossing to Mexico.

Carina is a fresh water 1969 Coronado sloop sailboat is in good shape comfortable and easy to sail, a go anywhere outfit. She has sailed Superior and Rainy Lake independent of any marina. Take her home at the end of the season. Carina has four good sails; Main, storm jib, genoa, and spinnaker. The tandem trailer easily launches and loads the boat in about ten minutes. There is always a lot of power. A solar cell in the quarter birth window and the 9.9 4 stroke Yamaha motor also charge the battery. There is lots of storage, 20 gallon water tank under a good sized vee-birth, 5 gallon port a pottie across from closet. You can fill two ten gallons gas tanks under a hood with the motor. You can hardly hear run. The table turns into a comfortable bed. There is a counter, sink, and ice box. Overview
Excuses is a 1973 Ranger 23, an IOR Quarter-Ton racer/cruiser designed by Gary Mull and built by Ranger Yachts. Often marketed loosely as a "25-footer" (her overall length grows to roughly 25' with the bow pulpit and stern pushpit included), the Ranger 23 was one of the most successful small racer/cruisers of the era nearly 740 hulls were built between 1971 and 1978, and she's still respected today for her stiff, well-balanced fin keel and lively performance under sail.
This is a solid, honest boat: hull and interior are in good shape and the cushions are excellent, with a nearly new outboard already installed. The rigging and sails need attention before she's ready to race or cruise seriously, which is reflected in the price.

Ranger 23s currently trade in a wide band depending on condition and rigging state roughly $4,000 to $8,000 with well-sorted, race-ready boats commanding the top of that range and project boats at the bottom. Kodai, a Haven 12 designed by Joel White, is a centerboard version of the Herreshoff 12 1/2. This vessel is a showpiece, and sails perfectly. The displacement full keel hull makes this a very stable safe platform to enjoy the coastal waters with friends. She is a real pleasure to sail. Only 18″ draft with centerboard up, and 3′ 4″ with it down.
Of all wood construction she is planked with Alaskan cedar on white oak frames. Her bright work includes varnished walnut combings and seats. She was hand built to exact plans from Joel White, completed April 2024. Registered in VA. She has been sailing for two seasons, so her sails are like new. All standing rigging and halyards are dyneema for strength and light weight aloft.
Kodai is gaff rigged with spars of douglas fir, bright finished with varnish. All fastenings and hardware are silicon bronze by J.M. Reineck & Son of Hull, Maine. Her keel ballast is 365 pounds of lead. The boat is equipped with a lightweight Li Time 100ah lithium 12.8v battery to supply an electric bilge pump and Mini Koda trolling motor. The builder designed a unique transom motor mount to use the trolling motor for getting in and out of slips. A custom-built canvas cover provides protection of bright finish and sails from U.V. and rain water. The boat has been stored offseason outdoors since 2024 under a tarpaulin cover. Very trailer friendly, comes with a custom built trailer.

This 5.8 has a high-quality, custom-welded aluminum frame that gives it a 11'2" beam. The new frame utilizes the original trampolines, plus an additional third trampoline in the center. The original cross beams are also included, and no modifications were made to the hulls, so the boat can be re-configrued back to standard width if desired.

The Allied Seabreeze is a Maclear & Harris design with a devoted following for good reason. She's handsome, seakindly, and built for actual cruising. This one has been actively sailed and carefully maintained by sailors who used her the way she was meant to be used.
Hull 14 sleeps six comfortably. She carries four anchors, a full wardrobe of sails, and enough gear to leave tomorrow. The dodger and windlass motor were replaced in 2020, the headstay roller furling in 2018. The main and mizzen carry full-length battens. All sails in use have been inspected and repaired by a sailmaker.
One thing to know upfront: she has forward gear but no reverse. The transmission needs replacing. She's been handled comfortably on a mooring field without reverse, and a competent sailor will manage fine while sorting it on their own timeline. Asking price is reflective of this issue. We're telling you this first because that's how we do things.
Sold as-is to the right sailor. Someone who appreciates a classic, understands what maintenance means, and isn't frightened by a transmission project on an otherwise enviable boat.

1984 Wiggers J/N 39 Fractional One-Ton "Encore"
The Joubert/Nivelt 39 Wiggers Lager 40 One Ton is the limited production version of Diva, a boat which swept the IOR in 1983, winning the Fastnet Race, Admiral's Cup, SORC, and other major events.

Encore was originally delivered to San Diego and later made her way to Lake Michigan. She sailed out of Michigan City, Indiana for many years and was purchased in 2011 by a passionate racer in St Joseph, Michigan. Under his ownership, she was extensively refurbished in both hull and deck, all wet core was removed and replaced with the deck, bottom, and hull professionally fared and refinished.
Today she is an absolutely solid boat. You can sound any part of her structure without worry. The decks have Kiwi-Grip non-skid, beautifully refinished. The scariest part of buying an old boat is fixed on this one; she is solid. The bottom was faired and coated with epoxy barrier coat, as well as multi-season bottom paint. All deck hardware was removed and replaced with Butyl tape bedding.
The interior of the boat has not been refurbished, and interior surfaces could use varnish and/or paint.
The engine is a Universal Diesel model 5424, an in-line 3 cylinder, with fresh water cooling, serial number 311-603. Hours are unknown. We have done a great deal of work getting her ready for the water, including installing a host of new engine parts, including:
- New OEM Facet electric fuel lift pump (old one worked is now a spare)
- New impeller for the fresh water pump, old one as a spare
- New exhaust hose for run from engine to rear bulkhead
- New thermostat, old one as a spare
- Rebuilt alternator
- New and spare fan belts
- New oil pressure sender
- New temp sender
- New and spare oil filter
- New and spare fuel filter
- Three spare glow plugs
- Fresh antifreeze (engine is fresh water cooled)

This Bristol 38.8 is a premium quality, ocean-going sailing yacht from a well-regarded American builder. The Ingrid 38 is a heavy displacement blue water ketch derived from Colin Archer's famous double ender designs, inspired by Viking boats renowned for their heavy weather characteristics. "The kind of boat that behaves herself in rough water and can be depended upon to sail herself"... the superb one-finger-on-tiller tracking and a comfortable ride.
With her old world style she's a good looking boat with a sheer line. Her seaworthiness is there to see in her full keel, heavy displacement and overbuilt construction. Her hull is heavily hand laid in fiberglass, there's robust outboard chainplates and an outboard rudder protected by extra fiberglass and a large bronze shoe casting should she scrub the bottom.
Compassion is a cutter ketch with 900 sq ft of sail at your disposal.
Atkin's main rework on the Ingrid 38 from Archer's original design was a finer entry on the bow which 'cushions' her landing off the waves. Below the waterline she has a long full keel with deep v-sections forward keeping her stable in the rough. The ballast is encapsulated and is distributed from bow to stern, this helps her to avoid the pitching motion familiar to fin-keel sailors. The tradeoff heavy displacement and ultimate stability is usually in speed, the Ingrid 38 is not considered fast. Surprisingly she's known to sail pretty well in light airs, owners reporting she'll do half the wind speed up to 8 knots of wind. However, she's a boat that comes into her own in heavier seas. By the numbers, her hull speed works out at 7.2 knots but she'll more often manage a consistent 6 knots while cruising. A rare, lesser-known William Crealock design. The 36 Tiburon was eventually lengthened and became the Cabo Rico 38.
Purchased in Florida in the winter of 2023 and then I spent the summer of 2024 sailing it up to the Chesapeake from New Orleans after a mini-refit. Since the end of that trip Ive been too busy to use her much.
The previous owner did an extensive 10 year refit and launched I think in 2018. He unfortunately passed away from COVID, then the boat was sold to a family friend who didnt hang onto it long before he sold it to me during the height of the post-COVID boat buying frenzy.

Solona is off-grid ready with 880w of solar and about 512 AH of lithium batteries. I can be away from the dock for weeks at a time.
Shes needs some cosmetic touch ups here and there but Im chipping away at those projects as I can (touching up paint, waxing, etc etc).

I've owned and sailed and moored her in La Cruz for 2 years and I'd like to move to a different Sailing grounds in the Atlantic. She's as near perfect condition as she could be for her age and I recently did the dirty work of refitting holding tank transfer valve sets and mascerator system. I'd estimate she's been totally refitted/re rigged about 3 times, maybe more. When I bought her the bottom had just been redone as you can see from the pictures. She ain't no old boat, just vintage "Classic" bones.
In the 2026 season we sailed her everywhere you can go in the Banaderas Bay, including all the races offered there; then South to Barra Navidad and back, and everywhere in between!
As of July 2026 I have "mothballed" her in the slip (all sails and inflatable Dingy stowed below and all canvas covers on Dodger and Combings in place) She's got a full cover Biminy over the cockpit with side shade covers and shes ready to reset for the 2027 season.
I know my price is low and it's not due to defects. The low price is a "I want to sell" price! If you want to see her and sea trial, we'd have wait until early December 2026 as I cannot leave my work until then. I could arrange for a showing earlier but you'd have to overlook all the sails and inflatable Dingy stowed in the Salon for Summer.
