19' Custom Picaroon 19
Ontario Outside United States 19 Custom Picaroon 19
Looking for something different? Unique, custom built pocket cruiser, a 19 ft Piccaroon. Beam 8 ft, draft 3 ft, displacement 4,000 lbs. Volvo7 hp diesel. GPS chart plotter, compass, new ground tackle. Price U$ 6,800, which includes a custom cradle. Presently the cradle sits on a flatbed trailer, which could be purchased for an additional $ 2,500. Some more notes for the interested sailor: There might be only a few to be found on the entire Great Lakes. Designed by Sam Rabl in the 1930s, built by Jamie Little in New Brunswick (est.) about 40 years ago. Cold molded, cedar strip planking. From the outside it looks like a fiberglass hull. The full keel design with a transom hung rudder will have a sea kindly motion. The large beam (8 ft) suggests a sturdy platform, yet she will take a breeze. She has benefited from a 3 year refurbishing project, done in covered boat shed, and is ready for the right steward to be looked after. She looks like a real little yacht inside, with lots of varnished woodwork. Sitting head room, two full-length berths, port side of the focs'l is for sail storage. Starboard side is newly installed small built in ice-box, fresh water tank with tap, even a one burner propane cooker and a fold able table. The large beam provides for a large cockpit with ample storage. As for over-nighting, she is really best suited for one person, or two if they really like each other a lot. There are stories on the web from folks who did extensive voyaging in that little yacht I dont know how but for that I admire them. Talk about a tiny home on the water! I had plans to use her for sailing lessons or training courses, but life got in the way and it never materialized. So this boat is an excellent boat for the beginning sailor. She might not be fast but certainly forgiving. Her rig is a headsail sloop with a hanked-on genoa, while a cutter sail could be added with not too much trouble, if so wanted. I mention the alu mast only because it was uncommon at the time of built to use those. Perhaps it was changed some time after building this sturdy little ve

Humminbird dragonfly 4 GPS/fish finder with inland lake charts. 5 gallon freshwater tank with hand pump faucet. 70 watts of solar with an mppt controller and two deep cycle house batteries have always kept up with Trinket's moderate electrical needs, and the shore power connection and onboard 2 bank charger are great for dockside or winter storage. There are many USB outlets inside the cabin and in the cockpit, as well as two 12v automotive sockets for plenty of charging access. LED cabin and navigation lights draw only about 1.5 amps. Folding Bimini and dodger (currently not installed but with all hardware still in place for attachment) plus an alternate removable hardtop canopy with room for about 400 Watts of solar. All lines lead to the cockpit and makes Trinket a breeze to single-hand. Lifting keel with removable dyneema lines for less cabin clutter. Removable teak cockpit and cabin sole grating keeps feet dry and looks good. The custom companionway steps offer stowage underneath, and the original teak ladder and hardware is available as well. Automatic bilge pump on an independent battery circuit. Danforth style anchor with 15 ft chain and 150 ft of rope with bow roller, chain stopper, and hanging bracket. There is an additional anchor chain pipe and rode at stern for a small lunch hook anchor in place. Cabin and cockpit cushions in good shape, all canvas in good shape. The Baja trailer with LED lighting and Buddy bearings makes launching from a ramp a simple matter, and it all fits in a 24 garage, so storage is simple and inexpensive. Trinket can be rigged and sailing in less than an hour with only one person, additional help makes the work go much quicker. Trinkets hard chine

I am selling my almost brand new RS Quest sailboat due to an injury which now prevents me from sailing. I was only able to sail it one time. The boat is located in Beaufort, SC. The RS Quest is a modern family or training dinghy with features that move the game forward. Big enough for an instructor and 2 or 3 pupils perfect for Mum or Dad and youngsters small enough to handle easily ashore and afloat. Inspired by the UK Sea Cadets to replace their aging fleet, the RS Quest has rapidly become the best-selling dinghy of its type worldwide. Durable rotomoulded polyethylene construction space and stability reefing, spinnaker, stowage and a host of other options. Its not easy to make it all work but the RS development team have nailed it on this boat. It comes standard with the main sail and roller furling jib.It is on a dolly but there is no road trailer. 16' Com-pac 16/3
1988 Eagan Minnesota 16 Com-pac 16/3
Lovely and hard to find 1988 Com-Pac 16/3, hull #2562 (1st mark 3 hull). This is a great example of the classic Clark Mills designed trailerable cruiser. "Luna" (formerly "Saudade") is one of the nicer examples of this wonderful boat. She's easy to trailer, launch and sail, stable and sea kindly, with everything you need to get on the water and start sailing. The Com-Pac 16 has beautiful traditional lines and a very functional cuddy cabin, with two long berths that extend under the cockpit seats, nice teak accents and a comfortable interior that includes a teak bulkhead leading to a forepeak with ample storage. Luna easily fits in a garage and has been stored indoors for most of her life. At 1100 lbs total displacement, she's easy to trailer and quite easy to launch. The boom and mast are strapped onto the trailer in custom PVC brackets, making the launch process very straightforward. The Com-Pac 16's shoal keel, drawing just 18", makes it the perfect boat for "gunkholing", exploring shallow areas. With 450 lbs of ballast, she's very stable and secure, sailing like a larger boat. The Com-Pac 16 included a bowsprit after 1986. The mark 3 was introduced in 1988, adding a foredeck hatch and halyards led aft to the cockpit. "Luna" is a wonderful example of this fine design, with a gorgeous blue painted hull and a nearly new Tohatsu 4HP outboard. I'm sad to have to part with "Luna" after owning her for nearly 20 years, but have bought a larger Com-Pac. So it's time for "Luna" to find another owner who will enjoy her as much as we have over the years.

30' Ta Shing Baba 30
1986 Point Judith Rhode Island 30 Ta Shing Baba 30
May 14, 2020 update: Marina is now back open and ready for your sea trial! I just had her AGM batteries charged up, bottom painted, new duramax cutlass bearing, new dripless PSS stuffingbox, shaft and coupling tuned, prop balanced, zinks replaced, new exhaust hoses, new stainless steel exhaust elbow and exhaust pipe, many other hoses replaced. New fuel tank installed. Newer windlass, chart plotter, new solar, arch Glass decks, new windlass, yanmar engine, chart plotter, radar, full batten mainsail, fresh bottom paint 1986 Baba 30 built at the famous Ta Shing boatyard. This boat is among the last few (of the 170 total) Baba 30s made making her the newest baba 30 on the market today and in my opinion the nicest and best rigged. She currently resides up north in the Ocean State thus she is lightly used a few months a year. The remaining months she is professionally stored under cover at the marina. This go anywhere sailboat has spent all her days in the new england area used very lighty. I have owned and improved her over the past 7 years. I am only selling because my family has doubled in size and now i want the Baba 40. Last summer we took her on our longest voyage; from Rhode Island, out around Nantucket and up to Maine. We could not have been any happier with her sailing characteristic and comfort of ride. She heaves too like a dream with double reefed main and a backed staysail. Without towing that inflatable dinghy behind her we were really suprised how well she pointed into the wind and how fast she she actually sails for 30 boat with 25 LWL and nearly 13,000lb displacement. When all three originally sized sails are out in around 15kts, lock the wheel, take a shower, make a sandwich, drink a beer, and come back to the helm, she is sailing straight as an arrow. Though sails have been upgraded, the original dimensions have not been altered so as to not interfere with the designed balance of the rig. We purchased this boat with intent of long distance cruising in mind. Now that she is finally rigged and ready to go (two kids latter) I need a bigger Baba!

The wind generator is being removed. Interior is in good condition for the age boat. There is a Dodger and Bimini that I recently removed due to the location and my height. There's 3 anchors and rodes. The engine is a Perkins 4-108 with unknown hours, alternator just rebuilt. But I showed 2000 engine hrs but total is unknown. I am located in Houston Tx, but I have a good guy at the Indiantown Marina that can show you the boat.

This grey 1983 MHOB is priced to sell quickly. I am the third owner, purchased in May 1994. Downsizing to smaller boat, but my club will only let me keep 1 boat in the water. The boat is not perfect but it is still fast, winning our fair share of the local races. There are some soft spots in the deck, scratches in the paint, leaks inside when it rains, etc. Sails are in good shape, but not brand new. We have removed the forward V-berth, but we kept the cushions if you want to convert it back. This is a mostly freshwater boat, but it has spent some time at the coast. 100% freshwater since 1998.

41.25' Catana 42
2012 USVI en route to anywhere on US East Coast 41.25 Catana 42
The Catana 42 has been a perfect fit for our family sabbatical. Shes safe, fast, well-built, comfortable, and a joy to sail. We are reluctantly offering her for sale due to family/health issues. The Catana 42 is unique in the marketplace as the smallest daggerboard catamaran designed for long term cruising. The Catana 42 has received high critical acclaim. We have thoroughly enjoyed our sailing experience on her. We have found her to be a good performer without sacrificing the comforts of home. She is truly ready to cross oceans and we have put many miles in her wake already. We have every intention to look for another Catana 42 when the time comes for us to return to cruising. Highlights: Catanas unique sail handling systems quality hardware, all sail handling, including reefing, is done from the cockpit, dual mainsheets for extra control compared to traditional travelers. The huge solar array gives an abundance of power. We do not worry about power use on this boat. High capacity watermaker is virtually silent in operation and capable of running completely on solar power. Aft helm stations allow for great sailing feel and leaves the huge, comfortable cockpit open for safe sail handling and entertaining. The benefits of the hard Bimini top cannot be understated. The quality of construction and attention to detail is second to none. Extensive refit in 2019, including new engines. Self-contained great for long stretches away from services (or quarantined during a pandemic!). We enjoy sailing at upwind angles most cruising catamarans only dream about. As a family boat, we feel exceedingly safe; part of feeling safe is getting there fast! More info and hi-res photos at kairos5.life/catana 42 for sale/

40' Jeanneau 40DS
1999 Beaufort North Carolina 40 Jeanneau 40DS
Since purchasing Liberty we have made a number of upgrades, including new bimini and dodger (2018), new cutless bearing (2018), new 125% genoa from Quantum Sails Annapolis (2019), new asymmetrical spinnaker, entirely new Raymarine EV-200 Autopilot (2018), new sailing instruments (depth, wind, etc.). Liberty is a unique design. Originally available in two or three cabin layouts, she is the two cabin version, which leaves room for a panty/storage locker to starboard, aft of the galley, as well as a huge lazarette on the starboard side of the cockpit. We use this space for fender, lines, scuba tanks, etc., and when the gear is removed there is easy access to the fuel tank, Racor filter, steering quadrant, and autopilot linear drive. The deck salon layout gives plenty of light in the cabin as well as ample storage. Because one of the water tanks is moved aft near the keel, Liberty is quick to answer the helm and turns on a dime, a much sportier performance than one might expect of a family cruising boat. He most unique feature is the helm layout. Rather than have the wheel mounted on a pedestal aft in the cockpit, it is mounted to the bulkhead just starboard of the companionway, similar to a catamaran or a motor sailer. While some might be skeptical as to the utility of this layout, I have actually come to enjoy it. The electronics are all mounted in the bulkhead in front of the helm; the helmsman is protected from the weather; the controls for the main sheet, spinnaker halyard, furling lines, and traveler are all close at hand, as are the jib sheets. This layout also allows for an open and uncluttered cockpit, and it is one of the design features of this boat that I will miss. 35' Allied Seabreeze 35 Lessons Included
1964 Port Charlotte Florida 35 Allied Seabreeze 35 Lessons Included
Checkout our Youtube listing video: youtube.com/watch?v=MZGLkbauSFI By far the most enjoyable way to avoid Covid-19 is on an off-grid sailboat in the islands. Overview: Lions Paw is a 35 1963 Allied Seabreeze. Shes been beautifully restored, modernized and is turn-key ready. This past season she was cruised extensively throughout Florida and the Bahamas and is ready to go again. She is outfitted to comfortably sustain over a month at sea without needing to return to port. If desired, the purchase includes one week of free cruising lessons, taught by her owner (US Sailing certified instructor and former Director of the Middle Key Sailing Program). Possible topics include voyage planning, safe anchoring, basic engine maintenance, electrical repair, and how to catch dinner etc Toys, Specs and Gear: After 10 years of cruising we are moving north to start a family and be land lubbers for a while. As such we are selling Lions Paw fully stocked with all the gear, spare parts and toys needed to set sail for the islands tomorrow. This includes a complete offshore fishing setup, diving gear, dinghy/motor, paddleboard, lobstering equipment, portable 10,000 BTU air conditioner, as well as many others. Specs: Designed after the famous centerboard racer Finisterre she is fast as well as comfortable. Her shallow draft (3 feet), opens a vast array of cruising grounds not accessible to deep-draft vessels, perfect for the shallow waters of Florida and the islands. Her hull is solid fiberglass and she has a full keel, which provides protection to the rudder and propeller. With her solid bronze centerboard fully extended she drafts 7 feet, which provides safety and stability offshore. The first fiberglass yacht to circumnavigate the globe was an Allied. They are well respected Bluewater yachts and can be found actively cruising all around the globe.

19' Flying Scot Douglas Boat Mfg Flying Scot
1966 Keowee Sailing Club Seneca SC South Carolina 19 Flying Scot Douglas Boat Mfg Flying Scot
The Flying Scot is a perfect family sailboat. It can also be sailed single-handed. The Scot is stable due to its wide seating and side deck. It can take a strong breeze with little or no water in the boat and the seats are self-draining. The Scot is easy to rig, launch, and sail. The Flying Scot is a safe, unsinkable, and stable sailboat good for day sailing. The Flying Scot is 19 feet long overall and its beam is 6 feet 9 inches. The Flying Scot weighs 850 pound and is easily trailerable. It can be sailed with the main sail with a jib sail and it can fly a spinnaker. Due to the Scot as a one design (virtually identical in design) boat it is a competitive racer as well and there are many active racing fleets across the country. One very active and successful fleet is located at the lake Keowee Sailing Club in Seneca, SC. My Scot is hull number 916. It has been refinished top side in a beautiful rich blue. The hull is tan in color. It comes with day-sailing main and jib sails and their lines. There are also two spinnakers and the spinnaker pole. I am selling my Flying Scot, sails, lines, and trailer for $3,500. It is ready to sail today. Contact: Greg Lewis (864) 380-5095

41.5' Island Packet IP40
1997 Oahu Hawaii 41.5 Island Packet IP40
One of the nicest IP's on the market. All of the IP weaknesses have been addressed. The glassed in chainplates were just replaced with titanium chainplates, the holding tank and water tank are brand new plastic/poly tanks, all new standing rigging, new autostream prop, hydrovane and many other major upgrades from an extensive refit over the past two years. I've owned this IP40 for about 5 years. She has been a great cruiser and I've made two ocean passages in her (1 solo). I recently just sailed her back to Hawaii. Selling to downsize, career changes are going to prevent me from the circumnavigation I fitted her for. The boat has lots of extras and a low time yanmar turbocharged engine. Also willing to negotiate price for delivery to the west coast or possibly deliver it myself.

Comes with most of the standard C470 items. New in the last 5 years: All port lights 3 hatches electric aft head bottom job 3 months old Unique items: arched davit 800 watts solar on arch washer dryer combo My wife and I cruised on a 36ft boat in 2008 and were preparing this one to cruise again when we had our son and decided to be landlubbers. Add this to starting a successful busines. Unfortunately, its time to admit defeat and sell our beautiful boat. The arched davit to me is very important, both for a lot of solar power and to get the dinghy up every night for safe keeping. All systems work on the boat. 23' Hirondelle Mk II
1977 Morgan New Jersey 23 Hirondelle Mk II
I did significant work on this rare classic English catamaran before bringing her up the ICW from Savannah to the Chesapeake Bay. There we meandered northward exploring coves and inlets that most boats could not enter (our min. draft is 18"). When we reached the top of the Bay we headed through the C&D Canal, down the Delaware Bay, and back inside from Cape May to Manasquan Inlet. There we headed outside up to and around Sandy Hook. I and my crew of 1-2 spent three comfortable months on our journey of over 1,000 miles. There is 5'-8" of headroom in both hulls and sitting headroom in the bridgedeck salon (which converts into a double berth). A friend of mine (who is 6'-3") owns a Tartan 3700. He thought the head in my boat was more comfortable than the one in his. He also liked the dual companionways which he thought prevented traffic jams.

49' Spronk Custom 49
1979 St Augustine Florida 49 Spronk Custom 49
This custom Spronk catamaran was built by the legendary designer Peter Spronk in 1979, and then completely rebuilt in 2013 with every surface and every nut and bolt, and piece of equipment added new. Additional autopilot and salon curved plexiglass added in 2018. Spronks are some of the most beautiful ever built and also some of the fastest. In 2018 the boat was sailed open ocean all the way, from the BVI's to Marsh Harbour in the Abaco, 930 NM in 96 hours, with sails reefed and big seas the whole way. The slender hulls and low weight tells you why its so fast. The epoxy and Okume ply sandwich makes the boat super strong and stiff. Dockside there are three AC systems and electric heads in all three cabin suites. the boat is super clean and ready to go. A 2018 survey values the boat at over $800000 and is available for inspection. email me and I'll send current pictures with survey

33' Hunter 33 e33
2012 New Bedford Massachusetts 33 Hunter 33 e33
This 2012 Hunter e33, just on the market, is a terrific choice for accomplished cruisers or first boat owners who want a boat that is easy to handle, but will satisfy their needs for many years. She is in great condition and is basically turnkey. The Award-Winning Marlow-Hunter 33 is a stunning sailing yacht. Keeping with the Hunter of yesterday's signature window line gives this yacht the sleek feel of the latest Marlow-Hunters, but the improvements do not end there. The hull design has been improved, featuring a wider beam further aft as well as a more profound bow hollow. The result of this hull design is a longer dynamic waterline, which means more speed. The deck features a sleek, modern profile with large side windows allowing for increased interior light. The deck hatches are flush-mount, offering an enhanced look that complements the new profile. Lengthening the cockpit has allowed the Marlow-Hunter 33 to have a cockpit that is longer than its predecessor. The cockpit of the Marlow-Hunter 33 also features a fold-down swim platform that extends the already lengthy cockpit when folded down while the boat is docked or at anchor. 22.4' Cape Dory 22D
1983 League City - South Shore Harbour Marina Texas 22.4 Cape Dory 22D
Little Miss Magic is a Cape Dory 22D. A classic blue water pocket yacht with big boat attitude. Her beautiful lines were designed by Carl Alberg, with full keel and sloop rigged. She is very stable and safe, sea kindly, and a joy to sail in light winds as well as off shore. The 22D is rare in that the Yanmar diesel was not the norm, as most 22s were powered by outboards. Her sails include a main w/two reefing points, a 135 genoa, storm jib and new halyards. The Raymarine tiller pilot makes single handing Little Miss Magic a breeze. Going down below really shows Cape Dorys attention to detail, with teak surrounding you in classic yacht style. Four bronze ports and v-berth hatch provide ample light and ventilation. She can accommodate four between the v-berth and 2 quarter berth/settees. A stainless steel sink, manual water pump, ice box, bar and library in galley. Origo 1 burner alcohol stove, pots, pans, kettle, and utensils are included. Magic is perfect for day sails, overnighters, and weekends. Her self bailing cockpit is spacious and comfortable for four. I can no longer devote enough time to take care of this beloved vessel properly, so Magic is in search for her next perfect captain to love and enjoy her wonderful spirit. She is in South Shore Harbour Marina, pier 7, slip 35, in League City, TX. Email serious inquiries to ShorelineAdvantage@gmail.com and I will gladly respond.

24.6' Hake Yachts Seaward model 23
1999 North Palm Beach Florida 24.6 Hake Yachts Seaward model 23
1999 Hake Yacht - Seaward Model While she measures 246 the bow sprint bringing her to 26. She is Model 23.. with a draft of only 25 inches. This is a great boat for the intercostal and the inland waterways, yet quite capable on the open sea to the Bahamas as well thanks to the hull design. This also makes the boat easily to camp out or to trailer! The current owner has made a number of improvements to the boat over the last year including updating the electronics. He also added two new automatic bilgesand a high power manual, plus a solar panel to trickle-charge the battery. New Sunbrella Bimini, and Cockpit cushions. So easy to single hand as all lines come aft onto self-tailing winches. There is tons of storage. She is really pretty to look at shes strong & sails beautifully. I like shallow-water sailing," said Nick Hake, president of Hake Yachts and builder of the Seaward. "I like to glide across the flats and nose in close to the beach before I drop the hook. That's gunkholing. That's sailing." It's not surprising that the trailerable Seaward has a draft of just 25 inches. What is surprising is the level of quality lavished on this pocket, made for easy trailing, cruiser. The Seaward has a low-aspect 900# keel with an aft wing. The main section has reverse draft, meaning that it is wider at the bottom than the top, which allows the ballast to be concentrated down low. By locating the wing aft, laminar flow is forced over the main keel section, improving its efficiency. Incidentally, it also allows for the boat to be pulled on and off a trailer much easier than if the wing was located farther forward. She has a displacement of 3,600 pounds. You could happily spend a few weeks aboard a Seaward exploring a bit of thin turquoise water in the Bahamas. In terms of the Seaward quality manifests itself in the construction process. The hull is solid fiberglass with 3/4-ounce triaxial unidirectional cloth used throughout. There is not a drop of wood in the hull.

35'3' CE Ryder Southern Cross 35
1982 South Carolina South Carolina 35'3 CE Ryder Southern Cross 35
EXTREMELY RARE FACTORY BUILT C.E. RYDER SOUTHERN CROSS 35 UPDATE: I have completed all renovations and have uploaded new pictures. I fully restored the following: All exterior & interior teak, topside gel coat, non-skid on cabin house top & cockpit, brand new dodger, constructed new rub-rails out of solid teak, engine serviced & much more. Video Link This Sothern Cross 35 is hull #9 out of the C.E. Ryder factory in Bristol Rhode Island. It was designed by the renowned Thomas Gillmer and is a true blue-water boat. The SC 35 is a exceedingly robust and seaworthy construction of these boats that far exceeds the craftsmanship in other, often lower priced, kit boats boasting the same name. The kit boats are built by owners and the quality can vary greatly. Nellie is wide (11'5") beamed, canoed stern, and a lovely sweeping sheerline that keeps it dry and stable in rough conditions. It has a fully encapsulated lead fin keel--making for surprisingly nimble performance and an aperture-enclosed skeg-mounted rudder. An Airex foam core between two very generous layers of glass keeps sound/cold out & heat in and keeps you safe in the event of an object strike. She has a rugged deck hull seal with two 90 degree forms joined under and solid teak cap rail and inboard mounted shrouds for easy passage on the deck. She has a 90 gallon freshwater capacity (an additional 25 gal on deck) & 35 gallon fuel capacity. I am her 4th owner (2013) and have sailed approximately 7,000 miles throughout the Southeast U.S. and Bahamas. When I purchased Nellie, she had been neglected by an owner who "bought the dream." I have put over $30,000 into bringing her back to life. I have lived on Nellie and sailed her for 5 years only putting her in dry storage twice for a few months. I am a commercial captain, professional rigger and apprentice boat builder. I sail from job to job using Nellie as my home. She has to be sea worthy and all systems both sailing and home amenities must be fully functional at all times, so when it breaks, I fix it.

29.9' Pearson 30
It is with a heavy heart that I have to face the facts that my beloved Pequod have to part ways. She is not the prettiest Pearson 30, but she is rock solid. When they first started making them, Pearson over engineered the P30. She needs the TLC and cosmetics finished I have no time to get to. Not uncomfortable by a long shot. But I also have friends with newer P30s that show me cushions and new cubby wood can make it beautiful. Not expensive, but time consuming. And TIME is something I don't have. My Father, stone cold stubborn ex Marine, has come down with Temporal lob Dementia. It doesn't take ones memories or awareness, it doesn't make you forget how to keep yourself fed and clothed. rather ability to reason, speak what is on your mind, and thus puts him at risk to be alone in the world. Add to that is that he was a successful business man with 4 rentals. Needless to say, keeping him out of a home has become a full time job, along with my full time job. I don't have time for the improvements and the sailing I have enjoyed for the past decade. 7 of them years with Pequod. All of her life spent on Lake Erie. Currently located in Lorain, Ohio just west of Cleveland.$5,500 is negotiable. If you want to pay the $445 membership fee and want the dock for 2020, I will throw that in. These pictures are just layout. My Facebook Profile is filled with public postings that show she has not been idle and not been uncared for. She can be the fastest boat in a fleet if you can get the crew to stop the drinking belly aching. She comes with a 3 yr old main sail and a 2 yr old 155. Both are very crisp. Last year I put 2 self tailing Lewmar winches on her. Essentially $4000 in stuff there. VC 17 paints her bottom every season. We stripped her and put a barrier coat 7 years ago. Other than that, she comes with everything you would expect from a Person 30.  Details »

Perhaps it was changed some time after building this sturdy little ve  Details »

A rare opportunity to acquire a vintage Boston Whaler sailboat -- The Unsinkable Legend. Who knew Boston Whaler made sailboats?! This 1980 Harpoon 6.2 (20'4" LOA) is hull # 71 of 150 6.2s ever made. Designed by C&C Yachts and constructed at BW's original facility in Rockland, Massachusetts. This boat is a true daysailer and has been used regularly by our family. She is very seaworthy and a joy to sail! I am disappointed to be parting with this boat but need to sell her due to a relocation. Features include: Custom Harpoon 6.2 North Sails mainsail and jib w/ North Sails storage bag Harken mainsheet rigging & hardware Harken jib furler (unique for a boat of this size) Lewmar winches Fixed keel (3'6" draft) with a 550 lb. ballast ANDERSEN Bailers mounted underneath the hull (recently removed and refurbished) Bilge pump New factory Boston Whaler and VA registration decals Also included: Classic Johnson Sailmaster outboard motor (9hp) with gas tank (fully functional and runs strong) New trolling motor New marine battery and battery box (used to run bilge pump) This boat is currently out of the water on stands at EZ Cruz Marina in Woodbridge, Virginia and can easily be put back into a wet slip. I pulled it out this past winter to power wash the exterior and perform general maintenance. If you continue to keep the boat at EZ Cruz, the current slip fee is $500.00 quarterly. Does not include a trailer. I'm happy to provide more photos or history/information about the boat if interested. Serious inquiries only please. Willing to discuss/consider all reasonable offers.  Details »

A note on buying and selling safely:
Anytime you buy or sell on the Internet, due to the geographic reach of the ads, be careful of fraud.

It has recently come to our attention that at least one seller has received a scam e-mail offer in which the buyer offered to overpay for the boat and then requests a check for the difference in return - what has come to be known as a classic "Nigeria" scam.

Requests to overpay for the boat and have excess money returned or given to a shipping company are most likely fraudulent -- never do this without consulting with your bank first.

Please always use caution and your best judgment if presented with a deal which doesn't seem logical, and be sure to talk with your bank to be sure all checks and transactions have been completed, cleared, and verified before releasing any property. Be especially careful of any transactions from overseas where such transactions might be reversed after some time due to fraud.

  • Never give your password to anyone. SailboatListings.com will never ask for your password. Any such request is an attempt at phishing.
  • Be careful of buyers or sellers using free email addresses (hotmail, yahoo, etc.)
  • Contact the buyer or seller by (non-cell) phone as well as online to help confirm their identity.
  • If a boat is not where it says it is, this is a strong indication of fraud.
  • After discussing the details, have the boat surveyed and arrange to see the boat before any money changes hands.
