My 1984 Landfall 35 "Providence" has been meticulously cared for and upgraded over the years by an avid blue water sailor, followed by nearly 2 years of neglect by her 2nd owners, yet she has been extensively gone through again by her current owner, with new oil and water pump drives fuel and oil flush, new filter and new fluids as well as fresh bottom clean and new zincs. Powered by a Westerbeke 27 with 1125.2 hrs. Thanks to a lot of sweat, the legendary "Landfall" is once again a very formidable "turnkey" boat - more than ready for sailing, racing, or as a comfortable cruiser live-aboard.
With shoal draft of just 4'6" she's set up for perfect bay cruising, traveling the ICW, or a trip to the Islands.
She's a good all round boat for any purpose, a good size for a live-aboard, as well as a perfect boat for a couple, or family sailing. Easy to single hand, with all lines run to the cockpit, self-tailing winches, and great ease of rudder response, make her a prime choice for sailors in any category.
No soft spots or problematic cracking on deck. Hull professionally cleaned on 7/19/20 with new zincs. Hard to tell when last hauled & cleaned, but the old zincs showed only about 20% corrosion, indicating it had been done sometime in the previous couple years. Full cockpit cushion set. Have components for radar equipment and other amenities. Great remote control Dual DVD/multimedia touchscreen stereo receiver and high output Universal s Located in Galesville,
Maryland.

Boat is In Chiapas Marina. In the water 250$ per month. Dry storage a little less than 300$. I plan to have it hauled out and fly back to the USA. This is a great location to do any work you desire. There is a Walmart and Home Depot 3$ cab ride away. Having parts delivered by mail is great. You can do all the work yourself in the boatyard. You are not allowed to stay onboard at night while hauled out. You can rent a nearby apartment for the month for around 150$USD and commute to the yard each day. It is common here. Very nice Marina and staff. This boat is one of two Corbin 39s with this Layout. I bought it 4 years ago and the main contribution I made to the boat was its rigging. All 6 supporting knees where the chainplates attach had water damage. I completely removed and reglassed in new knees. I used highest quality marine ply and west system epoxy. For more details please ask. I sealed the deck with Butyl Rubber. No leaks around the chainplates in
the past 3 years. The wire rigging was also replaced including Hahn HI-MOD hardware and turnbuckles.
Projects I recommend. New engine mounts and alignment. New/Larger Raw water strainer. Repairing or replacing windlass. Fixing a leak near the stuffing box on the rudder post. I dropped the rudder when I replaced the rig and inspected the hull itself. The hull is sound around the post and I re enforced the rudder with epoxy and made sure there was no play between the rudders metal post and rudder. I didnt sail the boat long enough before my refit to know there was a leak. Now I know and Im certain it can be fixed without dropping the rudder but it does need to be hauled out. July 10th 2021 I arrived in Mexico from Costa Rica. Boat performed great. I learned a lot on this journey and am looking forward to moving back on land. My asking price reflects my eagerness to start my new chapter on land and go back to school.
Entertaining all offers and will consider trades in any category.

The sailboat was designed by Henry Hinckley of Henry R. Hinckley & Co. (USA) and only 21 of these specific models were ever built. This one was commissioned by a bishop in Canada. He passed away only 4 years after taking delivery of the boat. The boat was sold and taken to the Great Lakes in Michigan where it spent the next 36 years of its life in fresh water. The current owner purchased the boat and brought it to Florida in 2014. The boat was then rewired and equipped with new electronics, radar, and a custom built fiberglass canopy with windows. Rosina is a beautiful example of the Knud Reimers designed Swede 55. Conceived as a fast ocean cruising boat, Rosina has outstanding speed in most conditions and is particularly fast and stable on a reach or downwind regularly seeing double digit speeds. Dont be scared of the overall length Rosina is well behaved and loads are lighter than most big boats. She turns on a dime and is very responsive with a well balanced helm. Rosina is also a great cruiser the long overhangs provide ample storage space and the below decks layout is well thought out. She is capable in all conditions and Swede 55s have sailed and raced all over the world successfully. The Swede 55 is one of the few classic fiberglass sailboats with a PHRF rating under 100. You get the elegance of a swept shear and long overhangs, but the performance of a much more modern boat. The design has stood the test of time.
Rosina has received extensive updating throughout the years and has spent 11 years in fresh water. Her beautifully updated mast, larger sail plan, mainsail track system and sail handling controls separate her from other Swede 55s. Located in Laurence Harbor,
New Jersey.

This is a heavy displacement double ender bluewater boat with a full keel. Many of her sister ships have circumnavigated as she was built to stand up to any conditions. I purchased Liberte in 2014 with the intent to do a solo circumnavigation. I had many great adventures with her and have her nearly where she needs to be to circumnavigate but the mountains and the desert have called me away. I have done a number of upgrades and spent months stripping the bottom to the gelcoat (there was a severe bottom paint buildup) putting on 4 barrier layers before new bottom paint. I faired out the hull itself where it was needed and also faired out all the through hulls and rudder mounting plates. The difference in how she moved through the water was striking after that work. I also installed a CapeHorn windvane steering system, a wind generator and a new semiflexible solar panel that sits on top of the dodger. The main task I had left to accomplish is running rigging to cockpit. This is the perfect boat for someone on a budget that wants to sail around the world. Com-pac Yachts describes their Horizon Cat as a classic boat for the diehard traditional sailor - a real Cape Cod cat with a shallow fin keel/centerboard for added stability and windward performance. A high aspect kick up rudder is incorporated for convenience and extremely light helm. Quick, nimble and comfortable, the Horizon Cat has a large cockpit and extensive accommodations. The exclusive Mastendr mast raising system revolutionizes the trailer-boating experience.
Very well maintained and only sparingly enjoyed. Boat is in fantastic shape! Kept under a custom fabricated boat cover over the winters, as well as when not used for extended periods. Unable to find the time to enjoy the vessel, therefore she is reluctantly available somebody else to enjoy.

This Catalina 22 offers great value for someone looking for a fun summer project. The boat needs only two things in order to sail - minor fiberglass repair on the botom and the keel kable needs reattached. Unfortunately, the current owner does not have the space or time to carry our the repairs needed and has decided to sell it in the hopes that it finds a good home with someone willing and able to fix her up. Despite the minor TLC needed, the Catalina has an interior that is in great condition. The boat comes complete with a full set of sails and a bimini. Located in Charleston,

With only one owner for 28 years who kept her either in marina slip in eastern Puerto Rico or on a morning ball 20 miles away in Ensenada Honda, Culebra, the boat has received very light usage. Its condition inside and out reflects this.
We acquired this boat only recently when the owner became ill and needed to rush back to the States permanently. We have the boat on a mooring in Ensenada Honda harbor, Culebra and are upgrading wiring, navigational instrumentation, lighting, etc. Now is a good time for a buyer to commit to the purchase and have the benefit of selecting various products, upgrades and/or negotiating to do some of the work him/herself for which we would defray the selling price.

1991 42ft Concordia $79,000
50hp Yanmar diesel
ballast; 10,500
This is one of 2 all kevlar race boats built by concordia
This is hull #1
This legendary racer has been completley redone top to bottom and is in perfect condition
This 42 has tons of racing history with mulitple 1st place wins including the Edgartown race, NYYC Cruise, PHRF N.E Championships, Newport N.O.O.D. Regatta.
Won the Herreshoff Medal for overall performance award
Construction Details
The hull is laminated from unidirectional and biaxial 'S-Glass' skins, vacuum bagged over H-80 Divinycell crosslinked foam and AL-600 Baltek cores above the waterline, and H-80 and Airex foam below. There are high concentrations of unidirectional 'S-glass (in lieu of carbon fiber, along the hull backbone and bilge stringers. An intergrated gridwork of deep keel floors, partial bulkheads, longitudinals, and ring frames supports rig and keel loads, controls headstay tension, and prevents shell distortion.
The deck is a similar laminate of 'S-Glass' skins over the same H-80 Divinicell and AL-600 cores used in the hull. Unidirectional 'S-Glass' Reinforces deck stringers, which take the heavy compression loads from the headstay and backstay, and which are continuous from stem to stern. All laminates are vaccum bagged and post cured, and epoxy resins are used throughout.
Both 42's Boast a ballast/displacement ratio of over 60%, and nearly half the ballast weight is carried inside the hull. Most of this inside ballast is carefully shaped to fit the hull and very heavily glassed in place, forming a 'lead core' beam supporting the mast step, and massive lead and glass 'backing plates' distributing the keel bolt and grounding loads over a large area of hull shell. This ballasting approach results not only in a remarkably robust structure, but also in a substantial speed advantage upwind, due to an unusually 'soft' motion in a seaway resulting from the low pitch moment of inertia. Also contributing to the high stability and low pitch moment are a very sophisticated four spreader Hallspar rigs. Located in Old Saybrook,
Connecticut.

This custom Spronk catamaran was built by the legendary designer Peter Spronk in 1979, and then completely rebuilt in 2013 with every surface and every nut and bolt, and piece of equipment added new. Additional autopilot and salon curved plexiglass added in 2018. Spronks are some of the most beautiful ever built and also some of the fastest. In 2018 the boat was sailed open ocean all the way, from the BVI's to Marsh Harbour in the Abaco, 930 NM in 96 hours, with sails reefed and big seas the whole way. The slender hulls and low weight tells you why its so fast. The epoxy and Okume ply sandwich makes the boat super strong and stiff. Dockside there are three AC systems and electric heads in all three cabin suites. As of October 2020 the boat has been epoxy spray painted matching the original royal blue of the photos. It looks great. The boat is super clean and ready to go. A 2018 survey values the boat at over $800000 and is available for inspection. email me and I'll send current pictures with survey. Alberg 35, 1961, hull #6, documented
- Builder: Pearson Yachts, Bristol R.I.
- Designer: Carl Alberg
- LOA: 34'9"
- Beam: 9'8"
- Draft: 5'2"
- Displacement: 13,300 lbs.
- Waterline to masthead: 44'6"
- Ballast: 5,300 lbs. encapsulated in fiberglass keel (no keel bolts)
- Full keel with cutaway forefront; keel hung rudder
Engine:
- Universal, Model M4-30 Diesel
- Engine Hours: 839
- Propeller: 3 blade propeller
- Engine Power: 25 HP
- Cooling: Raw water through Groco bronze sea strainer then through heat exchanger.
- Exhaust: Wet through Vetus waterlift muffler. Water injection hose has a vented high loop.
- 3-bladed, Campbell Sailor Prop, 14 x 7 x 1.
The boat is very solid, looks beautiful, and sails wonderfully, but she isn't new: the exterior bright work (teak) is in need of re-varnishing (I was letting it go natural), the deck could use a repainting, and the cockpit instruments are sometimes questionable in operation. Located in Olympia,
Washington.

Capital Yachts built Newport 30.
LOA: 30.5 ft
Beam: 10.75 ft
Draft: 5.2 ft
Displacement: 8500 lbs
This boat is an excellent representation of the classy 80s cruisers. She has been meticulously cared for throughout the years by the previous (original) owner, and I've tried to keep her up to his standards during my short ownership.
Always professionally maintained and winterized by a reputable boat yard.
She is a very spacious family coastal-cruiser, with much larger accommodations below than any other 30-footer. Lots of clever storage space throughout.
Completely turn-key; all electronics work perfectly, as does everything else. The Atomic diesel (21HP) is in great shape with very few hours- no counter for the hours, but used about 2 gallons of diesel per season, to give you an idea; it's barely broken in. The cushions were custom-made three years ago- they look and feel brand new. The sails (main and 135 furling Genoa) were custom-made 8 years ago. Cushions and sails have always been stored indoors, off the boat, during the winter.
Closed-cell foam sandwiched between fiberglass for the whole deck. That means no worries about rotting plywood or balsa.
The extensive teak/wood interior could use a bit of elbow grease, and some of the wood does show its age. Also, there are chips and dings on the gelcoat; she is 35 years old after all!
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, and please schedule a viewing! All reasonable offers will be considered. Located in Mamaroneck,
New York.

This vessel was recently listed in many sites including Ebay as a sail away- turnkey item at $32000 This was a gross exaggeration. I purchased the vessel in Feb. 2021 sight unseen after many conversations with the owner with a view to fitting her out and sailing to the Caribbean. since then my plans have changed. the vessel, in fact is a Fixer upper. The sails and engine are in good condition, as is the outboard motor. The hull from the deck to the keel is in very good condition structurally, although there are some scratches and abrasions above the waterline. The decks, including the balsa core are in poor condition. and all the windows leak. the age of the rig is unknown however I have had her offshore in heavy weather recently. Refrigeration and propane Stove are adaquate. A new dripless seal was installed in Februray 2021. The boat was hauled out in March 2021.A new cutlass bearing was installed, minor repairs to the fiberglass on bottom of the keel were carried out by the haulout facility and the bottom was prepped and protected with two (2) coats of Petite high quality ablative anti-fouling were applied.
While the above were being carried out it was noted that the stainless steel strut showed evidence of crevice corrosion resulting in hairline cracks. Any prospective buyers may contact me and I will give them an accurate assesment of all I have observed as well as upgrades and repairs I have made. there are many small pieces of equipment in addition to those listed below. The vessel may be viewed by appointment. Located in Cooleys landing 450 SW 7th AVE Ft Lauderdale,

PROMISE is an Al Mason designed wooden sloop, built in 1971 by Nelson Whitesell of Largo, Florida. In 2018, she received an extensive refit for bluewater sailing, and has since sailed over 11,000 miles and completed two singlehanded Atlantic crossings, including a 4600nm nonstop passage from Portugal to Maine via the tradewinds. She is a fast and able vessel, ready for another owner to continue the adventure.
Design: While working at Sparkman & Stephens, Al Mason drew the hull lines for one of the better known and successful CCA-era keel centerboarders, Carleton Mitchells FINISTERRE. Later, working under his own shingle, Mason produced two versions of this design, graced with his inimitable sheer line and sense of proportion: the Mason 34, a sloop, and the Vitesse 36, a yawl. PROMISE is the latter of these, without the mizzen. Despite, or perhaps because of this modification, she is perfectly balanced, and will steer herself upwind in 12-15 with the vane disengaged. Fast, too: during her second transatlantic, she averaged 5.56kts over 34 days. Draft is under 4 with the board up, and closer to 7 with it down.
Construction: PROMISE is ruggedly built of strip-planked cypress over double sawn frames of longleaf yellow pine. She is fastened with monel edge nails and bronze screws. The deck and cabin top are fiberglass over plywood. The interior is plainly, but nicely, finished, with a teak sole and trim. In 2018, she was refastened under the waterline with bronze screws, during which the bottom was stripped, barrier coated and refaired. Located in Rockland,
Maine.

Jade Lady is truly a one-of-a-kind steel schooner. She has voyaged more than 30,000 miles and has become known throughout New England, the Chesapeake, Bermuda, and the far corners of the Caribbean for her beauty under sail and her proven offshore record.
Jade Lady was designed by George Sutton, the renowned steel boat builder (Sutton Boat Works) of Tarpon Springs, FL and St. Augustine, FL during the 70's and 80's. She was built in St. Augustine by Dennis Schreiber, a well-known steel boat builder who collaborated with George Sutton. Jade Lady has had only two owners since her construction.
A shipwright himself, her previous owner took on the two-year project of finishing this beautiful boat, employing his fine joiner skills to craft an interior using solid mahogany, teak, and ash. Her interior was built with an eye to practicality, comfort and safety at sea.
Jade Lady has rounded bilges (rolled steel) - a very special and unusual feature on steel boats of this size, most of which are hard chine. She is a dream to sail, with a sea kindly motion in a variety of conditions, and a fair turn of speed. An ultrasound was done on the boat in November of 2019 with no problems noted. Located in Port Sanilac,
Michigan.

This boat is extremely well cared for and looks new. She is meticulously well-maintained and shows beautifully with many recent upgrades including new upholstery, a new HVAC unit, and a fresh gelcoat restoration. She is for sale by owner, so no brokers fees here. We are the second owner and took ownership in 2020. The engine only 151.8 hours on it because the first owner hardly ever used it. In fact, many of the items on the boat still had the plastic on them and it was like new. We love this boat so much and made everything perfect, but alas we are retiring to the Bahamas on a new catamaran so we must sell her. We will consider selling the boat separately for the right offer.

INTRODUCTION
The quality of construction of S2 boats is good. A recent comparison of published values of the S2 9.2, Catalina 30 and Sabre 30 show the S2 solidly in the middle. When the same model years were compared, the mean value of the S2 averaged 20% greater than the Catalina 30 and 25% less than the Sabre 30. The S2 9.2 offers solid construction, contemporary styling, acceptable performance and good value.
CONSTRUCTION
The hull is solid, hand-laid fiberglass. It has an inward-turning flange at the sheer to which the balsa-cored deck is bolted through an extruded aluminum toerail. Bulkheads and furniture are tabbed to the hull, which contributes to its structural stiffness. Two tons of lead ballast is encapsulated in a sealed keel cavity. Well-cared-for boats show little wear and tear after three decades of hard sailing, and, owners agree, the gelcoat is generally free of stress cracks even where moldings take tight bends.
PERFORMANCE
Sailing the S2 9.2 is a treat. In 15 to 17 knots, it heels sharply under the mainsail and 150-percent genoa before settling in to make 5 or 6 knots upwind. Weather helm is noticeable in stronger gusts, but the boat is generally well balanced and always manageable, even in lumpy seas. All in all, the S2 9.2 is a well-designed, tough, and able 30-footer with good performance for racing or cruising.
ACCOMODATIONS
A small corner galley to starboard of the companionway contains a sink, icebox, and stove. Opposite is a quarter berth and navigation space with a folding seat and table. Headroom is 6 feet 3 inches aft and drops gradually to about 5 feet 10 inches toward the forward cabin. The saloon table and settee convert to a double berth and, together with a 6-foot-6-inch settee opposite, make a comfortable eating, lounging, and sleeping area. A double berth is located forward of the wardrobe an Located in Bayfield,

Looking for something different?
Unique, custom built pocket cruiser, a 19 ft Piccaroon. Beam 8 ft, draft 3 ft, displacement 4,000 lbs. Volvo7 hp diesel. GPS chart plotter, compass, new ground tackle. Price U$ 8,400, which includes a custom cradle. Presently the cradle sits on a flatbed trailer, which could be purchased for an additional U$ 2,500.
Some more notes for the interested sailor: There might be only a few to be found on the entire Great Lakes. Designed by Sam Rabl in the 1930s, built by Jamie Little in New Brunswick (est.) about 40 years ago. Cold molded, cedar strip planking. From the outside it looks like a fiberglass hull. The full keel design with a transom hung rudder will have a sea kindly motion. The large beam (8 ft) suggests a sturdy platform, yet she will take a breeze. She has benefited from a 3 year refurbishing project, done in covered boat shed, and is ready for the right steward to be looked after. She looks like a real little yacht inside, with lots of varnished woodwork. Sitting head room, two full-length berths, port side of the focs'l is for sail storage. Starboard side is newly installed small built in ice-box, fresh water tank with tap, even a one burner propane cooker and a fold able table. The large beam provides for a large cockpit with ample storage. As for over-nighting, she is really best suited for one person, or two if they really like each other a lot. There are stories on the web from folks who did extensive voyaging in that little yacht I dont know how but for that I admire them. Talk about a tiny home on the water! I had plans to use her for sailing lessons or training courses, but life got in the way and it never materialized. So this boat is an excellent boat for the beginning sailor. She might not be fast but certainly forgiving. Her rig is a headsail sloop with a hanked-on genoa, while a cutter sail could be added with not too much trouble, if so wanted. I mention the alu mast only because it was uncommon at the time of built to use those. Perhaps it was changed some time after building this sturdy little ve Located in Ontario,

The Joubert/Nivelt 39 Wiggers Lager 40 One Ton Encore was originally delivered to San Diego and later made her way to Lake Michigan. She sailed out of Michigan City, Indiana for many years and was purchased in 2011 by a passionate racer in St Joseph, Michigan. Under his ownership, she was extensively refurbished in both hull and deck, all wet core was removed and replaced with the deck, bottom, and hull professionally fared and refinished.
Today she is an absolutely solid boat. You can sound any part of her structure without worry. The decks have Kiwi-Grip non-skid, beautifully refinished. The scariest part of buying an old boat is fixed on this one; she is solid. The bottom was faired and coated with epoxy barrier coat, as well as multi-season bottom paint. All deck hardware was removed and reinstalled with Butyl tape bedding.
The interior of the boat has not been refurbished, and many interior surfaces could use varnish and/or paint.
The engine is a Universal Diesel model 5424, an in-line 3 cylinder, with fresh water cooling, serial number 311-603. Hours are unknown. We have done a great deal of work getting her ready for the water, including installing a host of new engine parts.
Amazingly, once we fixed the glow plug button, the engine started up and ran smoothly even with very old diesel fuel in the tank. The oil was changed prior to lay-up and was perfectly clean. We have started and stopped the engine several times, and found no smoke once running. We have also shifted the transmission in and out of forward and reverse gears. We have run the engine enough to watch the temperature gauge operate. The engine starts easily with manual glow-plug operation.
This boat comes with a massive set of records, including rating certificates, previous surveys, operating manuals for the engine, furlers and so on. I have rarely seen a boat with more documentation. Electronics include a GPS Chart Plotter, a VHF radio, an AM/FM radio (not currently installed), and parts of a TacTik wind and water system but no read-out displays. Located in St Joseph,
Michigan.

For sale custom-built 58-feet
Colin Archer Ketch
Hull number: DLZ08446K000 reads she was built in the U.S.
Dear all, thanks for your interest. This is real, big Dutch ketch, on sale for bargain price. We cannot continue the project and don't want this vessel to be lost, this is the only reason. Nothing hidden/fraud/scam risks on her. Maintenance and renovation required. On sale in as-is condition.
Seeking for enthusiast to continue the project.
Comes with complete set of sails with spares.
The engine is Perkins 1300, fully serviced last year, absolutely working. Just requires regular maintenance (change oil, yes).
There are 3 cabins with plenty of space to accommodate 8-9 guests on board, plus a side deck for crew, and there are 2 toilet blocks.
Bought in 2018 and logged a sea passage from Venezuela to Dominicana. She makes some like 7-8 knots on sails, 6-7 knots on engine. Pretty stable on sailing just like classical Dutch Ketch.
The underwater part replated in 2019 with 5mm steel, then 4 layers of epoxy primer applied, with 2 layers of antifouling, before it was painted. And for sure new anodes installed.
Bare minimum we think required to leave the DR now: electrics/wiring check, water lines checks, 2 batteries, 2 toilets (or one :-) , echo, rigging check, change engine oil, set AIS, radio, autopilot, life raft (small kayak is onboard).
The boat currently moored on Cumayasa river, DR, not on hard in marina.
We have plenty photos of her condition, please email by response button, weblinks forbidden here. Located in Cumayasa Dominican Republic,
Outside United States.

1986 ODay 26
Reduced from $9,000
This boat is the perfect boat in that it is big enough for a getaway weekend and small enough to trailer back home on its trailer. The shoal keel allows for sailing in shallow waters most other boats would not be able to handle and the 6' draft with the centerboard down allows this boat to point well into the wind. She is easy to sail, responsive, inexpensive, and easy to maintain. The boat has an 8 beam and weighs in at 4,800 lbs. so a ton vehicle will pull with ease. The cabin feels roomier than some larger boats with a5 6 headroom and features 2 sinks, one in the galley and the other in the head, unusual in a boat of this size. It has a private toilet area with a new porta-potti. The salon area has a drop-down table, and the galley has an alcohol stove, and an ice box. The cushions are in excellent shape and there are cockpit cushions included. The sails include a new main and 3 jib sails. The jib sails are a 100, 135, and a 150. There are new halyards for main and jib hoisting. There is a new mainsail cover and a new tiller cover. There is a manual bilge pump in cockpit lazarette. All lights work on boat. The boat has a knot instrument and a depth sounder. The boat hull was buffed, and a new bottom paint applied this year. The motor is a 1999 Tohatsu MB8 8 hp 2 cycle that was just serviced with new impeller, plugs and lower oil changed. It was tuned and ready to go. Boat has new battery deep cycle.
To protect boat top from elements there is a new custom boat cover for use summer and winter with mast up or down. This boat comes with a trailer with new led lights and new bearings and grease zerks. Tires are excellent and ready to roll. Located in McPherson Ks,

Sea Sprite 23 sail boat with 10HP outboard & 5 boat stands
Have sailed it in Blue Hill Bay for 16 years. Its been well taken care of. All structural sailing and boat parts have been maintained and are sound today. Sails have been maintained by a firm in Southwest Harbor. 10HP engine has been serviced annually by a firm in Mount Desert.
I cannot single sail anymore so have to sell.
You will need to pay to have it hauled from Swans Island or have it launched here. I can arrange the launch and will help with setting the mast and roller fuller and tuning if you want to sail her out of here.
We get huge gusting winds here and she handles it all well. Also lots of current around this island therefor the 10 HP engine. Comes with all sails and roller fuller plus a lot of extra stuff: cushions, tools, replacement fasteners
You will be very satisfied with her. I have survey done in 2002 when I purchased her in New Hampshire. Located in Swans Island Mane 04685,
Maine.

Bob Perry designed fractional rig sailboat. I used this boat to teach my wife to sail and now we've moved on to a larger boat. This is a GREAT first sailboat to learn on or to just enjoy a beautiful day on the bay. Turn-key- ready to sail away today! Engine and transmission just serviced. An incredible boat that makes it easy for new sailors to get out on the water and start sailing! Recently repainted and with a new floor inside, she looks spectacular, inside and outside.
NADA guide LOW retail is $10,415 (AVERAGE is $11,880) and that's for a boat that may show excessive wear most likely needs work...this needs nothing! If you are in the market for a boat like this, look to see what's out there and the price they are selling it at. This is one of the nicest and most reasonably priced sailboats in this class that's out there. Priced for quick sail! Located in Solomons,

The Union 36 sailboat has an interesting history. Designed by Robert Perry as the Hans Christian 34, Union boat yard stretched the design and created the very seaworthy and beautiful Union 36.
She has the pedigree of Bob Perry and Hans Christian along with the reality of a proven blue water cruiser.
This vessel also bears the pedigree of cruising off of Columbia, Venezuela(when it was safe to) and Panama along with the San Blas Islands by the previous owners.
I have known and admired this vessel for more than 10 years.
This vessel was owned by friends who brought her here to St Louis from Central America for a refit and to spend time ashore. The unfortunate death of one of the owners ultimately triggered the sale 5 years ago.
The new owners were still working which gave them time to finish the refit and eventually transport her back to salt water in Fort Lauderdale. There her refit was completed. All of her equipment will be listed in the following section.

She is a fresh water boat first launched in Lake Michigan and I moved her to Lake Norman near Charlotte NC in 2012. The Catalina 30 is far and away the most successful racer cruiser ever produced with over 6000 boats manufactured and is the ideal racer, cruiser and weekend condo. It has 6' 2" of headroom in the main cabin, and a built-in 13,000 BTU A/C ,the entire cabin will stay cool even on the hottest days. Built in 1979, she can still hold her own racing against much newer racer cruisers because of her very favorable PHRF rating. She has a Gori 2-blade folding prop and tiller steering which gives the helm a much better feel in light air conditions.
She comes with two sets of sails and sails easily with only the jib sail, so can be single-handed. The racing sails were made in 2013 by Doyle of square-weave Dacron, which are the finest Dacron sails available. The square weave polyester fabric is woven so there are larger diameter threads spread throughout the fabric, giving the sailcloth a checkerboard appearance. This weave increases fabric strength and reduces stretch when compared to traditional Dacron cloth. Both the main and jib sails are in excellent condition. The 155% roller furling jib is a triradial cut to increase performance with a UV Dacron leech cover to protect the sail from sun light when rolled up on the headstay. This gives the leech less weight and enhances sail performance in light air conditions when used with light air jib sheets (included). The jib also has a clear plastic window in the bottom of the sail, allowing you to see through the sail. The original main sail and 100% working jib are included and these are the sails that I use during the winter months. The leech cover on the original working jib is blue Sunbrella. The Doyle racing sails were bagged and stored Nov thru March every year. She is a simple, spacious, fun boat to sail with plenty of storage and has been impeccably maintained! Please do not hesitate to ask questions. All reasonable offers will be considered. Located in Corneilus,
North Carolina.

Aquavit is a 1958 clinker planked wooden Nordic Folkboat built by Haussen in northern Denmark. Imported in 1960 and sailed in the PSW until 2017 when she was lovingly restored in Oklahoma.
The previous owner restored the mast, installed new decking and installed new standing rigging in 2015 / 2016.
A professional restoration was carried out by Howard Classic Boats on Grand Lake in Oklahoma during 2017 / 2018. The restoration cost over $50,000 to complete. There were 15 planks replaced below the water line, 24 ribs replaced, all 11 floor frames were rebuilt or replaced, new stainless keel bolts were installed. All teak surfaces on the exterior were sanded and refinished. New top side and bottom side paint. A portlight installed. Cabinet with galley sink installed. The cushions were recovered.
During a spring storm Aquavit sunk in her slip and rested about a foot below the surface, supported by her dock lines. The keel was immediately, and professionally repaired, the hull pressure washed, calked with 5200 and prepped for paint. The owner has elected not to proceed with finishing repairs as he has another boat in Florida where he spends time.
At this stage Aquavit should simply need:
Complete rewiring with new bilge pumps, charger inverter and fuse panel
Transom needs to be sanded and refinished.
The two year old Tohatsu 6hp Sailpro will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
She needs a healthy cleaning in the interior and cockpit.
It is in your best interest to review the boat to determine any other repairs or improvements you may want to make. Aquavit is sold as is and no warranties are provided for her condition.
Aquavit is currently hauled out and sitting on her trailer at Scissortail Marina waiting for her new owners. With a little TLC Aquavit could be sailing again with you and your family this summer!

FOR SALE: 1976 Pearson 26 Sailboat $3600 with engine / $2700 no engine
She is already in the water in New London, CT and will be ready to sail with about a days work of final prep.
This serious classic is a true bluewater sailboat. From our slip in New London, CT we sailed Fishers Island Sound and Long Island Sound. We often sailed straight across to Long Island, New York. Every year during September (hurricane season) we have sailed from New London east across southern Rhode Island to Point Judith, then across Narragansett Bay & Newport, to the Elizabeth Islands, then the length of Marthas Vineyard, then journey back to New London, CT. Having sailed 4 states, this sturdy & reliable Pearson 26 has brought us through the most serious of storms, and all types of weather and sea conditions. In the Fall of 2018, for an entire day we battled 6 footers cresting every 3 seconds! This solid construction coastal cruiser is a remarkable boat - an excellent value, offering speed, ability, appeal, plus comfortable accommodations. She will meet your sailing needs and fulfill your seafaring adventures. You will love to take her out cruising, racing or for family fun afloat. This very popular Pearson 26 is a really well-built masthead sloop with a swept back cast iron fixed fin keel and tiller steering. It's an ideal starter "big" boat because it's very user-friendly, easy to sail - even solo sailing - and handles well in gusty conditions. It has roller reefing and all sails can be controlled from the cockpit.
You can overnight in comfort on this 26 ft sloop. Located in New London,
Connecticut.

I could not describe this boat that I have owned for 13 years, and lived on for 7 of those years, better than as described in The Proper Yacht, 2nd Edition by Arthur Beiser International Marine, 1978
DOWNEASTER 38: "... a straightforward, common-sense boat that will evoke a nostalgic twinge in those who remember what sailboats used to look like. The Downeaster 38 is no greyhound of the sea, but in the long run a friendly shaggy dog makes the better companion for many of us, and for such people the 38 or something like it may very well be the right boat."
I love this boat. She is full keel and is very, very comfortable to sail in big seas and cruise for days on end as well as spacious enough to host large crew for harbor sailing.
She is rigged for single or short-handed sailing with most lines leading aft. Her comfortable cockpit is wide and completely covered in NEW canvas covered closed-cell foam cushions (2021) that snap in.

Picture above is a stock picture from Practical Sailor.
1977 Tayana 37 pilot house cutter rigged ketch
Here is a beautiful extremely seaworthy sailboat that has become the victim of our Mississippi River flood of 2019.
This vessel was hauled out and brought into the shop at Harbor Point Yacht club in West Alton Missouri St Louis for repairs and upgrades. Since that time, 3 plus years ago, the marina and shop were flooded. Water came up into the shop but did not get any flood water into the boat.
Cleanup and infrastructure repair to the marina and surrounding area is ongoing. The sale of the marine service company performing the repairs further slowed the completion of the repair work.
The current condition of this Tayana is this.
The prop shaft log was replaced.
A new propshaft needs to be sourced and installed. The old shaft, which had to be cut is with the boat and can be used to help order a new shaf
The pilot house port and starboard windows were removed and the wooden structure rebuilt. The forward windows and wood still needs to be repaired.
Once the prop and shaft are installed and new bottom paint applied, the boat can be launched making it much easier to finish the boat.
There is a dock available in this marina to rent or purchase to finish the repairs while in the water. This marina is a dockominium but as stated the dock could be rented if that is your wish.
This marina has a travel lift to load the Tayana onto a trailer for transport.
Current condition and inventory of equipment.
This Tayana was purchased on the east coast and brought cross country by truck.
The mainmast was damaged during transport. A new US Spars mast was purchased as well as a new mast step adapter built for the boat. The mizzenmast was not damaged.
The teak decks were caulked and are in great condition.
The cabin sliding hatches were rebuilt and caulked
The bowsprit was removed and damaged ares repaired and is ready to be reinstalled along with the bow railing and teak deck.
The fiberglass hull is in beautiful condition.
The interior cabinet work is exquisite. Located in West Alton,
Missouri.

PRICED FOR QUICK SALE! MAKE AN OFFER!
Listed May 23, 2021. If you see it, it's still for sale. So much to say about this 2-owner boat, but start by reading this great review:
cruisingworld.com/sailboats/trendsetter-us-west-coast-islander-bahama-28
If you are looking for an economical way to get into cruising, look no further! I have spent many pleasurable hours and many dollars updating this 1984 vessel to a modern cruiser. ISLAND GIRL spent most of her life on the Chesapeake Bay with her first owner, who loved her and took such care of her. When he could no longer sail her I became the second owner in 2012. My late wife loved this boat and in 2019 we sailed her down the Intracoastal Waterway from Virginia to Florida. Later we visited Key West and finally made the big jump to Bimini in the Bahamas where we spent an idyllic month aboard her. But my wife passed away last year and I no longer can sail ISLAND GIRL. I am pricing her very modestly with the hope that she will be able to give someone else the joy she gave us. I have not sailed her since 2019, but last year alone she got a bottom job, repaired sole, and new stainless steel safety lines at a total cost of almost $4,000. This year I replaced the VHF radio and one battery. All ISLAND GIRL needs now is someone to lovingly polish her and she would really gleam! Located in West Palm Beach,
Florida.

The main photo is a shot from the start of the Marion-Bermuda Race, with owner and famous US newscaster, Walter Cronkite at the helm! The Westsail company custom built this 42 for Walter, and by the particular details and superb joinerwork, they did a very good job. These boats have a habit of wandering afar, and perhaps Fiona, owned by Eric Forsythe, is the best testament of their potential with over 250,000 logged miles on Fiona and Eric still moving around the globe and at over 85 years old! (see YouTube to visit the boat doing some of the chilly voyages, like Northwest Passage, Cape Horn, and everything in between). Definitely the Land Rover of the Sea.
As well as being an ultimate safe offshore vessel, the 42 is very comfortable in port. With the pilothouse arrangement, the galley and dining table are at eye level to see out thru the large bronze ports. This particular hull might be the only one with the mid port opening, allowing great ventilation.
Another desirable feature is the nav/office area between the galley and aft cabin...with fold out seat and big prism over the table. Also, the engine room has 2 prisms for day natural lite. After Walters ownership, the boat was donated to the Naval Academy, and then on to private ownership. In the past 7 years she has become a new boat, except for the brass builder's plaque. New equipment throughout from engine and engine room design, all new painting and varnishing, new cushions, rigging, chainplates, toilettes, hull Awlgrip deck repainting, new SS tanks, refrigeration and because Walter, she has the only teak cockpit. The rig is now a cutter the chainpates etc. are still there for the yawl rig...however the mizzen consumes the aft deck and for that reason it was removed.
The Westsail 42 has the little ship feeling with the proper bulwarks, planked bowsprit, and very sociably sized cockpit. It is a great live-aboard at harbor or, in case of this boat, she has had details modified for high latitude sailing. Located in Caribbean - St Marten,
Outside United States.

A couple of years back, we picked up a 35 modified Charybdis MkII steel ketch, designed by Robert Tucker, home built by a blacksmith, and launched in 1978. At the time, we were imagining we would be doing a fair bit of offshore sailing, and this is the perfect boat for that; in terms of construction, its a real go anywhere boat. The boat had been moored in Poole for the previous thirty eight years. We bought her, had her hauled, surveyed, repainted and re-rigged. We took her over to Carentan in France, where she is now moored.
Our problem is that since we bought her, our circumstances have changed, and were not physically up to sailing anymore. : (
The good news is that she is massively strong, handles fabulously and looks really sleek. The bad news is that she has little to no plumbing aboard, and the electrical system is very rudimentary. However, if youve ever had to deal with someone elses ideas of brilliant boat system designs and repairs, you may prefer to install your own systems anyway
Commissioned: 1978
LOA: 35.5 ft (10.82m) (plus bowsprit)
Beam: 10 ft 8 / 3.3m
Draught: 5.5 ft / 1.7m
Displacement: 18,000 lbs / 8160 kg
The engine is a Lister SR4, four cylinder diesel, 30 horse - Clydesdales, not show ponies. It's one of the most reliable engines made. It is air cooled so you have no underwater fittings, no heat exchangers to clog up, or cylinder head warping or overheating. It is in excellent condition. 2020 FarEast 19R sailboat with Marine Cradle Shop P-2000 galvanized steel trailer, with keel support, goal posts and a 79 inch tongue extension to ease ramp launching in the shallowest of boat ramps.
This high performance (but highly stable) one design sailboat was designed by the award-winning Dutch firm Simonis Voogd, was manufactured in February 2020, delivered to my home in July 2020, then moored in a freshwater marina until October 2020 after which it was covered and has remained stored indoors. It has been sailed only 6 times and remains in perfect as new condition. A move forces the premature sale of this beautiful boat.
The hull and deck were manufactured with high tech vacuum bagged vinylester and finished in high quality SX gelcoat. The keel is a vertically retractable carbon fiber T-keel with a 600 pound lead bulb. The rudder and tiller are also 100% carbon fiber. The rig is supported by single rear swept spreaders (no backstay). There are low stainless steel stantions and padded lifelines, along with molded in non-skid on the deck and nicely located foot supports, handy when heeled. No hiking straps are needed.
The Selden mast and boom are aluminum, all hardware is by Harken and the lines are by the Austrian firm Robline. The mainsail and jib are radial-cut using Contender Sailcloth ZZ Racing Black Aramid laminate sailcloth. The nylon asymmetrical spinnaker is bright red and has never been flown. It launches from a storage bag that ingenuously clips into the companionway, and is flown from a retractable aluminum bowsprit.
Dealer installed accessories include white Interlux bottom paint and Raymarine i70s electronics (wind speed, wind direction, water depth and boat speed) hardwired to a digital display in the cockpit.
Auxiliary power is provided by an ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus (a 3 horsepower equivalent) electric outboard with padded factory carry bags and custom covers. It includes a stainless steel Motorloc. The outboard looks and works flawlessly and has less than 1 hour of time on it. Located in Mechanicsburg,
Pennsylvania.

Breeze has just come off a four month cruise in the Bahamas. Because of this, she is truly cruising ready. She is resting in a slip in Annapolis and is available for showing with advance notice.
For the first 36 years, she was lovingly cared for by her first owner, Herman. He made many large improvements to the boat as detailed on sailing breeze dot com. The decks are fiberglass now and have zero leaks. The New Found Metal 316 stainless steel portholes are also replacements and have zero leaks. The hard dodger was custom built and is a huge asset when doing off shore passages. It keeps the sailor safe and comfortable in the roughest of weather.
Since purchasing her in 2017, I have upgraded all refrigeration/freezer components, added AIS and a new antenna, replaced the water maker with a DC unit so you can make water while motoring or from renewables, added a 400w wind gen, increased solar to 750w and a long list of other improvements. Many of the work done was required because she had not been cruised for the three years before I purchased her. She is in far better shape now than she was when I purchased her for $150k four years ago. Ive put over $50k into her improvements. Because she is coming up to a standing rigging job, Im happy to part with her for $10k less than I paid. The price is firm and she is worth every penny.
Feel free to reach out for any further questions. Would love to know your dreams for Breeze for her next life. Located in Annapolis,
Maryland.

Onde dArgento is prepared for an experienced couple to enjoy the live aboard cruising lifestyle. Reliable Yanmar engine coupled with robust autopilot, super-efficient Autoprop and Side Power bow thruster provides excellent maneuvering under power. The well thought-out sail handling systems make sailing a breeze at a design hull speed approaching 8 knots. The Kato davits, anchoring system, tankage, 12v electrical system, and superb ventilation and cabin fans provide comfortable living on the hook.
The twin 32" Edson destroyer type wheels on the Catalina 400 MKII offer the benefits of safety and visibility for the helmsman, as well as easy unobstructed stern boarding. A large central cockpit table accommodates the entire crew for dining. There are secure handrails and foot braces for your stability when the boat is heeled. With the exception of the companionway doors, there is no teak on the boat's exterior to have to maintain.
The original 1x19 stainless standing rigging is stout and easy to keep tuned for optimal performance. Sail controls like the double ended mainsheet and rigid boom vang coupled with two cabin top halyard winches and two primary Lewmar 54 CST winches are logically arranged to efficiently manage the 400's powerful sail plan.

1984 Beneteau first 345.
The mid 80s first series are a well sought after racer/cruiser for their tough hull and quality construction. I have owned her for 7 years and taken her from Halifax all around the carribean, as far south as Guatemala. Currently I am living aboard in Holbox Mexico and am planning on returning to Florida shortly. She has been a comfortable liveaboard for me but sadly it is time to let her go and concentrate on work for a few years. I have drastically reduced the price hoping for a quick sale before I need to put her in storage while I go work. Located in Key west,
Florida.

1980 Hunter 36 sail boat designed by the famous yacht designer John Cherubini, these are the best built Hunter sailboats out there, very solid and great sailers (only 13,500 lbs, great for racing in 35-40 foot class).
It's powered by a newer very reliable Japanese built 24hp Yanmar Diesel installed in 2004 (you want diesel for your boat, not a dangerous gasoline Universal engine).
All standing rigging replaced in 2006 including halyards and roller furler.
Extra main sail!
She has two 88 gallon fresh water tanks. Even has water filter for those long overnights or for living aboard.
It sleeps 5 comfortably.
Has a propane BBQ and a Sony marine stereo with nice speakers and helm remote, perfect for entertaining in the spacious cockpit (no need for a power boat or cabin cruiser).
Included in price is also a spinnaker if you want to participate in regattas.
Perfect size for liveaboard or work from home office (marina has wifi). Have it towed to Tahoe and use it as your vacation home or cabin.
Currently in a transferable slip in the brand new Emery Cove marina in East Bay ($470, always sunny there compared to SF).
This Cherubini fiberglass sloop is just as good if not better than Catalina, C&C, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Ericson, Columbia, Pearson, Peterson, Islander, Columbia, choey lee yawl, cutter, ketch, etc.
Cheap price reflects age and couple things needed:
Bottom hasn't been painted in a while, I think 5 years?
Next haulout would be good to replace stuffing box.
Cushions are old, could easily get them redone for $1000.
Could use new helm and mail sail cover. Located in San Francisco,
California.
