35' Catalina 355
21 Toms River Pine Beach New Jersey 35 Catalina 355
I am the original owner of MariSue, my beloved and beautiful 2021 Catalina 355. I purchased her directly from the factory via Ed Massey, my knowledgeable and helpful broker. We added all the creature comforts that we felt we wanted. For two seasons we sailed her in the Manatee River and Tampa Bay and then decided to bring her up to our home port in NJ, where she lies now. I have personally serviced her through the years and keep records. She is in perfect condition. Because I sail the narrow Toms River in NJ and my shoulders have been giving me trouble, I chose the self-tacking headsail which makes coming about with one person effortlessly. I recently reduced the price.

35' Allied Seabreeze
1963 Freeport Maine 35 Allied Seabreeze
Some boats are just equipment. This one is a sailor's boat. The Allied Seabreeze is a Maclear & Harris design with a devoted following for good reason. She's handsome, seakindly, and built for actual cruising. This one has been actively sailed and carefully maintained by sailors who used her the way she was meant to be used. Hull 14 sleeps six comfortably. She carries four anchors, a full wardrobe of sails, and enough gear to leave tomorrow. The dodger and windlass motor were replaced in 2020, the headstay roller furling in 2018. The main and mizzen carry full-length battens. All sails in use have been inspected and repaired by a sailmaker. One thing to know upfront: she has forward gear but no reverse. The transmission needs replacing. She's been handled comfortably on a mooring field without reverse, and a competent sailor will manage fine while sorting it on their own timeline. Asking price is reflective of this issue. We're telling you this first because that's how we do things. Sold as-is to the right sailor. Someone who appreciates a classic, understands what maintenance means, and isn't frightened by a transmission project on an otherwise enviable boat. Full gear list available. She's on the hard at a boatyard in Freeport and available for inspection by appointment.

1978 North Hero - Lake Champlain Vermont 35 Kalik 33
Resolute underwent an extensive refit between 2010 and 2012, including all new interior (cushions, upholstery, cabin sole, headliner, brightwork, new propane stove, etc) new teak decks, standing rigging, spar paint, hull Awlgrip and a 2' reverse transom extension. New Lewmar hatches and portlights, etc. In 2012 the owner had a new Westerbeke engine/ZF transmission installed along with a new 1" shaft, prop and seal. The engine currently has 111 hours! A new fuel tank wasfitted along with newexhaust, water intake, "Commodore" engine panel, Morse monocontrol shifter/throttle,etc. 2 years ago I installed a new Blue Sea DC breaker panel and rewired a number of the loads. All the thru-hulls and seacocks are in good working order and wereall were replacedbetween 2010 and 2017.Bottom paint is Petit Vivid. Repainted 2 years ago and touched up before launching this spring. The boat spent years in Brooklin, but the drive there became too much for my kids. I decided to bite the bullet and paid for the boat to be trucked to Lake Champlain,VT.This is its 4th season there. Lives at the dock mid May/early October and on the hard on stands with the mast up in the winter. I've been shrink wrapping it, but recently ordered a custom canvas full cover, which should be ready by early August. I do NOT need to sell the boat, but it is becoming increasingly difficult for me to justify all the effort and money to use it only a handful of times a year. For the asking price you can't go wrong, I promise! Just like I don't have a lot of time to enjoy the boat, I don't have a lot of time to show the boat to 20 different prospective buyers. If you are interested I will make the trip and meet with you, but please, be considerate. Let's talk first. I can probably answer all your questions. The boat is at North Hero Marina and I can arrange with the manager to let you see the boat. The marina has a travel lift in case you want to haul it out or something. All the associated coordination and resulting costs are on you. My price is mostly firm, but try me. The worst I can say is no.

22' Cape Dory 22
1981 Basalt Colorado 22 Cape Dory 22
1981 Cape Dory 22 Collector Quality Original Lake Boat Triad Trailer & 2024 Tohatsu Basalt/Colorado Description: For the discerning sailor or Cape Dory enthusiast: This is an incredibly rare, highly original, and uniquely well-kept Cape Dory 22 pocket cruiser. Designed by Carl Alberg, this vessel has spent its entire life strictly as a fresh-water lake boat (first on Lake Winnipesaukee, then on Lake Champlain, then on Ruedi Reservoir for one season). Its remarkable condition is the direct result of being INDOOR STORED every single winter since it was built in 1981, except for the last two year where it was meticulously covered and cared for. The fiberglass gelcoat, teak trim, and hardware are totally original, smooth, and completely free of rot, soft spots, or pitting. Below decks, the cabin is impeccably clean, dry. I purchased this exceptional vessel two years ago from its meticulous long-term owner. This boat does not work well on my mountain lake with quick changing winds and small turning zones and I need to let it go to someone who lives in a different location. It is ready for its next dedicated caretaker. Delivery Available Nationwide: The custom Triad trailer is fully road-ready with fresh bearings and tires, designed to handle long-distance highway towing. If you are a serious out-of-state buyer, I am willing to personally hitch up the boat and drive it directly to your driveway or marina anywhere in the continental U.S. Terms: The buyer must cover the cost of a one way truck rental, the truck's fuel for the trip and purchase a one-way airline ticket to fly me back home to Colorado once the boat is safely delivered.

Engine rebuild was completed July of 2025 and includes following new parts. The rigging appears to be in excellent shape and I would have no issues whatsoever sailing this boat to Baja tomorrow. The stay sail would have been club-footed, but no longer has a boom. All the hardware is in place to rig as club-footed or non club-footed. Stay sail is old but functional. I recently restitched the leech of the main sail. The Main goes up a tide's track and is extremely smooth and friction free to raise and lower. The main is rigged with two jiffy reef points with hardware on port and starboard side of the boom, thus the main can be reefed on port or starboard tack with maximum ease quickly and efficiently. The main sail now sheets from the traveler on a block and tackle to the end of the boom which makes trimming the main sail simple and effortless compared to the original main sheeting style of r

30' Hinterhoeller Yachts Nonsuch 30 Ultra
1988 Solomons Maryland 30 Hinterhoeller Yachts Nonsuch 30 Ultra
Specifications & Performance The Nonsuch 30 Ultra is a coastal cruiser designed by renowned naval architect Mark Ellis and built by Hinterhoeller Yachts, a builder celebrated for high-quality, balsa-cored fiberglass construction. She measures 30'4" length overall with a 28'9" waterline, an impressively wide 11'10" beam, and a 5-foot draft (3.96 feet with the shoal-draft option) proportions that give her the interior volume of boats several feet longer. Displacing 11,500 pounds with 4,500 pounds of lead ballast, she carries a favorable ballast-to-displacement ratio that keeps her stiff and stable, standing up well to her sail even in a breeze. Her most distinctive feature is the freestanding, unstayed mast paired with a wishbone boom carrying roughly 540 square feet of mainsail no headsail, no standing rigging, no jib to winch across on a tack. This cat-rig simplicity means tacking is as easy as turning the wheel, reefing can be done from the cockpit in seconds, and short-handed or single-handed sailing becomes genuinely relaxed rather than a workout. With a hull speed of about 7.2 knots, the Nonsuch 30 Ultra comfortably cruises at 7 to 8 knots in 15 to 20 knots of breeze, and her best point of sail is a beam to broad reach, where she really comes alive. She won't point quite as tight to the wind as a sloop, but she makes up for it with speed and an easy motion that keeps guests comfortable rather than white-knuckled. Below deck, the Ultra layout offers a private forward stateroom with a double berth, a well-designed galley, and a full head with shower all with 6'4" of headroom and enough space to comfortably seat six around the dining table. Auxiliary power comes from a dependable diesel inboard, giving confident maneuvering in tight marinas and reliable power when the wind drops. Whether you're looking for a stress-free afternoon sail or a capable coastal cruiser for extended trips, the Nonsuch 30 Ultra delivers big-boat comfort, surprising performance, and a rig so simple there's almost nothing to break.

Make a reasonable offer, we will consider it. We have moved to the East Coast and purchased a boat there to refit, or we would not be selling this beautiful vessel. With today's prices, it did not make sense to transport her overland, or we would have. We also got a dog and needed a little bigger boat! We purchased this vessel in the SF Bay Area in July of 2018. We immediately started a refit to bring her up to current standards and cruising condition. My husband is a marine electrician, and I have worked in boatyards, so the upgrades are top-notch. You can see the layout and specs at https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/s2-110-c/. This vessel is the shoal-draft version with a balsa-cored hull above the waterline. There is no damage to the core anywhere. I prefer a cored boat for its insulation and added stiffness. There is a spacious walk-through head with an AirHead composting toilet, all correctly set up and working well, no holding tank, no smell. I am on the East Coast when posting this listing and will add more pictures when I get to the boat in a couple of weeks. She will sleep 6, with 2 in each area: V-berth, salon settees, and aft cabin. The boat is most comfortable for 3 people: 2 in the aft cabin and 1 in the V-berth.

The hull was professionally treated for osmosis in 2022, including a full peel, new fiberglass layers and epoxy barrier coating. All through-hulls and seacocks were replaced at the same time. This boat was sailed across the Atlantic from England to Canada by the current owner in 2022, confirming her seaworthiness and offshore capability. In the fall of 2025, the vessel was fully prepared for another offshore passage to Bermuda. Due to lack of a suitable weather window late in the season, the trip was postponed and the boat was hauled out in East River, Nova Scotia. Schock Wavelength 24, 1984 sailboat for sale. Racing sailboat has several sails and/or spinnakers to accompany (all in varied or unchecked condition). Boat has rod rigging which is more costly than standard stainless cables. Cabin cushions are also included, as seen in later pictures. This is a really fun snd easy boat to sail. It is fast. It points into the wind well and can be sailed with a spinnaker relatively easy as it is a fractional rigged sloop, so the spinnaker is not hard to handle. It is great for racing as well. Many were built and most were raced and are still being raced. Some one-design fleets are still active. The boat has been stored for may years. Has a great name "Shockwave" and has a large race flag with the name on it. It is competitive with a PHRF of 168. Looks fast and is fast. Weight (2500 lbs), dimensions, draft (4.5 feet), sail area, and PHRF rating of (168). Compares to a J-24 but more comfortable, easier to use, and safer than the usual J-24. New halyards were just installed. I can help set up the rig if needed. Boat is currently on a trailer, as pictured. Transport of sailboat can be provided.

1984 St Joseph Michigan 39.7 Wiggers Custom Yachts J/N 39
1984 Wiggers J/N 39 Fractional One-Ton "Encore" The Joubert/Nivelt 39 Wiggers Lager 40 One Ton is the limited production version of Diva, a boat which swept the IOR in 1983, winning the Fastnet Race, Admiral's Cup, SORC, and other major events. For notes on the history of the design, see rbsailing.blogspot.com/2013/04a-joubertnivelt-one-tonner.html Encore was originally delivered to San Diego and later made her way to Lake Michigan. She sailed out of Michigan City, Indiana for many years and was purchased in 2011 by a passionate racer in St Joseph, Michigan. Under his ownership, she was extensively refurbished in both hull and deck, all wet core was removed and replaced with the deck, bottom, and hull professionally fared and refinished. Today she is an absolutely solid boat. You can sound any part of her structure without worry. The decks have Kiwi-Grip non-skid, beautifully refinished. The scariest part of buying an old boat is fixed on this one; she is solid. The bottom was faired and coated with epoxy barrier coat, as well as multi-season bottom paint. All deck hardware was removed and replaced with Butyl tape bedding. The interior of the boat has not been refurbished, and interior surfaces could use varnish and/or paint. The engine is a Universal Diesel model 5424, an in-line 3 cylinder, with fresh water cooling, serial number 311-603. Hours are unknown. We have done a great deal of work getting her ready for the water, including installing a host of new engine parts, including: - New OEM Facet electric fuel lift pump (old one worked is now a spare) - New impeller for the fresh water pump, old one as a spare - New exhaust hose for run from engine to rear bulkhead - New thermostat, old one as a spare - Rebuilt alternator - New and spare fan belts - New oil pressure sender - New temp sender - New and spare oil filter - New and spare fuel filter - Three spare glow plugs - Fresh antifreeze (engine is fresh water cooled)

1974 Shennecossett Yacht Club 1010 Shennecossett Rd Groton CT 06340Groton Connecticut 41 Tartan 41 Custom Sparkman & Stephens
First owned by Steele Griswold - former owner of Shelburne Shipyard - Mame is a classic Sparkman & Stephens custom Tartan-41. The hull and deck were ordered unfinished from Tartan Marine and delivered to the Shelburne Shipyard where the interior and teak toe rail were installed to Mr. Griswolds specifications. The Tartan 41 was designed by S&S at the request of Charlie Britton, founder of Tartan Marine, Co., who was eager to produce a boat to compete with the new Nautor Swans. Both were designed by S&S and are almost identical versions of the famous racing sloop Morning Cloud commissioned by Sir Edward Heath. Midway through her racing career Steel Griswold, an engineer by training, hired S&S to oversee the modification of the hull and rudder. The original skeg and rudder were removed, and a new spade rudder was installed about a foot further aft. The underbody and keel were completely faired with a finer entry forward. The mast is a custom tall rig double spreader with Navtec rod rigging and hydraulics. The boat was repowered, and a teak cockpit installed by the second owner complete with Harken electric winches and Raymarine electronics as well as Harken roller furling, windlass, and anchor bow roller. Mame has always been stored and professionally maintained to the highest standard by the Shelburne Shipyard. She is now located at the Shennecosset Yacht Club, Groton, CT.

1980 Trismus 37 Long Beach, CA $9,900 The Trismus 37 is a unique offshore cruising design intended for sailors who want both ocean-crossing capability and shallow-water access. Its wide, shallow keel carries all of the lead plate ballast at the lowest point of the boat, while the large-capacity diesel and water tanks are completely enclosed within the keel. Combined with the traditional kick-up centerboard, this design provides excellent stability offshore while allowing exploration of shallow bays, anchorages, and coastal regions inaccessible to many deep-draft cruisers. This boat is being offered at a project price and will appeal to knowledgeable sailors who appreciate the strengths of the Trismus design. Known Needs: --Volvo MD2B diesel is not currently running --Bottom paint is due --Standing rigging should be replaced Because of these items, the boat is best suited for an experienced sailor, boatyard professional, or buyer looking for a serious cruising boat with restoration potential. 42' Manta 42 C
2000 St Augustine Florida 42 Manta 42 C
Owner's Story Akira is a fine example of the Manta 42. She has been significantly refreshed from 2017 through 2025. We bought her in May of 2024 and have cruised between Florida, the East coast to New England, to the Bahamas, Hilton Head, back to the Bahamas, and finally landing in St. Augustine, FL. We lived on Akira for 2 years. The freezer, refrigerator, Ac and/or heat, hot water tank, walk-in stand alone shower all make her extremely convenient and comfortable. The fact that those systems worked reliably and consistently made a huge difference in daily living. The solar input could generally recharge batteries by mid-day. The engines were consistently reliable to start and operate. She has been great fun and we have loved every minute of our time aboard Akira, but it is time for us to move on to our next adventure. We hope she provides the new owners with the fun, freedom, and excitement she has given us. Upgrades: 1. New Flex Fold props June 2024. They've proven a nice upgrade. Folding feature is really nice when sailing. Note to buyer: When engines are off while sailing put the gear in idle reverse position to allow blades to fold. 2. New Ray Marine chart plotter Jan 2025. 3. New Victron 1200 inverter, Victron solar controllers, AGM house batteries and smart shunt March 2025. 4. New mainsail, Jib and sail covers January 2025. 5. New Tohatsu 20HP outboard on dinghy. Note to buyer: I picked the 20ph Tohatsu because it was the lightest option on market (94lbs); same weight as Yamaha 9.9 hp. When you are out cruising, being able to explore 2 or 3 miles around an island and away from the boat is a big advantage and a lot of fun. 6. Complete rebuild on the Spectra Cape Horn Extreme watermaker. New seals, piston, membrane. Note to buyer: Cape Horn is a famously reliable, easy to use system. We consistently made 12-15 gal per hour on the 12 volt system. Allowed us to stay off grid for weeks. Water maker was pickled on May 25 2026.

The Boat: This Bill Shaw design results in one of the spacious 27 foot sailboats out there. It is 22 6 long at the waterline and has a 9 1 beam with a spacious open cabin design boasting over 6 of headroom. There is an enclosed aft stateroom to port with 3 opening ports and hatches. The head is also aft on the starboard side with a flushing head, sink, and shower with floor sump. The forward part of main cabin is convertible large v-berth to a table with seating for 6. There are several storage areas below the seating and forward near the bow. Amidships is a port side galley with sink and two burner alcohol stove and on the starboard side a generous and well insulated ice box with a chart table / countertop and the electric panel above it. On deck you have a comfortable cockpit with cushions and wheel steering. The traveler is on the cabin top with an upgraded mainsheet system you can control from the helm. The 130% genoa can also be easily controlled from the helm. The boat sails well and can go almost anywhere with lead wing keel and the resulting its 3 4 draft. When not sailing the boat is powered by a Universal Medalist M2-12 diesel engine that starts easily and sips fuel. Current Owners: This boat has been based in the fresh water of the Hudson River for the last 10 years. We have owned her since 2020 and sailed her on many adventures. Shes been much loved and traveled to Long Island Sound multiple times with trips around Long Island and out to Block Island. Shes a great boat for couples for up to a several week cruise with many improvements to make life aboard easier. After 3000 NMi its time for us to go to a larger boat for longer cruises. We are sadly putting her up for sale and hope someone else can experience the joy of sailing and cruising on her. Shes currently in the Hyde Park area. Extensive printed and digital documentation available for all systems. No major issues are known to exist at this time. Engine does not use oil, hours unknown but about 500 since 2020. Docklines, fenders, and various other items included.

We think the owner's story says it best: "We are the second owners of this vessel The original owner always had the boat in Fajardo, Puerto Rico which is where we bought the boat. It was a great opportunity for a father and son to buy a boat together and sail the BVI's, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, Exhumas, Bahamas and more.....she did an amazing job and gave us nothing but awesome memories and some of the best sailing we have ever done. We sailed roughly 3500 miles in the past year and Hunting Happiness didn't skip a beat." Owners are selling so they can move on to their next adventure. This is a great boat with all the comforts you will need. Hunting Happiness will take you almost anywhere you want to go. It is well maintained and ready for off shore or ICW travel. She would also make a wonderful live aboard. Some of her highlights include: Dinghy & Motor - New Bottom Paint - In Mast Roller Furling Mainsail - Northern Lights Generator - Bimini - Dodger Washing Machine - Three State rooms allows for a lot of space and storage. Give us a call to schedule a time to come see her. She is on the hard, easy to show, and located in St. Augustine, FL, a fun city to visit!

27' O'Day 27
1975 San Diego California 27 O'Day 27
One-of-a-kind electric sailboat. If this were a car, it would be considered a vintage restomod. It is a 1975 ODay 27. If you are not familiar with this boat, learn about it here: sailboatdata.com/sailboat/oday-27 See a video here: youtu.be/SPi_PS7j-Y8 This sloop has been through a 5-year reconditioning and modernization. It started out with an Atomic 4 gas engine. The engine and fuel tank were replaced with a SolidNav electric motor and 4, 170 amp-hour batteries in series to create a 48-volt system. The result is a very reliable and quiet boat to operate. It charges plugged into the dock overnight. Its range depends on how fast the boat is going, but on average, one can expect 20-25 miles on a charge. That may not seem like much, but this is a sailboat, so the inboard motor isnt needed much. And when the boat is under sail, the spinning prop regenerates the batteries. There is a new prop and prop shaft. It also has a new Mercury 9.9 electric-start outboard motor with 12 gallons of gas onboard. The outboard is a useful addition. Having directional thrust makes slow, close-quarter maneuvering easier than with any inboard. And the outboard has an alternator which charges the house batteries. When there isnt enough wind, the gas outboard extends the powered range to about 75 miles. In addition to the propulsion batteries, it has two 232 amp-hour six-volt deep cycle house batteries in series, which powers all 12-volt systems onboard. These batteries are charged by shore power with a new marine-grade charger and with the outboard alternator. There is a 48-volt 4,000-watt inverter that supplies 110-volt power when the boat is not connected to shore power. Shore power connects to two onboard 110-volt circuits, one 15-amp and one 30-amp. There is new wiring for the 48-volt, 12-volt, and 110-volt systems.

42' Catalina 42
Catalina built its reputation around practical, well-designed cruising sailboats that deliver real comfort, strong owner support, and excellent value. The Catalina 42 is one of the brands landmark models: Catalinas own history notes the first Catalina 42 was built in January 1989, with 100 hulls delivered in the first year alone, breaking U.S. production records. The Catalina 42 earned its following because it brought together the qualities sailors actually want: a powerful yet manageable masthead sloop rig, a large cockpit, clean decks, strong interior volume, and genuine sailing ability. YachtWorlds review notes the Catalina 42 was the first American yacht in her class to offer three staterooms, while also highlighting the models large cockpit, lines led aft, walk-through transom, and strong performance reputation. Vennskap, a 1989 Catalina 42 Tri-Cabin, captures exactly why this model became so successful. Her three-cabin layout makes her ideal for cruising families, guests, shared ownership, or extended time aboard, while the warm Catalina interior provides the kind of space and comfort that turns weekends into longer adventures. With a generous salon, practical galley, private owners cabin forward, twin aft cabins, and two-head arrangement typical of the early tri-cabin layout, Vennskap offers rare flexibility in a proven 42-foot cruiser. This is a boat built for memories: morning coffee at anchor, easy passages between ports, and the kind of relaxed cruising lifestyle Catalina owners know so well. 48' Hylas H48
The "First in Class" Hylas H48 design has been the choice of voyagers in mid-size yachts for decades and for very good reasons. Bill Dixon's lifestyle enhancements will keep this yacht relevant for aspiring voyagers in years to come. Extending the enclosed center cockpit to accommodate crew numbers and cockpit relaxation. Staying with the classic cutter rig will bring peace of mind as weather deteriorates. The self-tacking staysail makes very light work in heavy going. All lines run back to the cockpit so there's no need for crew to be on deck. A more plumb bow and a beam that carries aft not only enhances performance underway but brings the interior space to life. Living aboard is a delight with the raised salon skylights allowing plenty of natural light and the oversized portlights mean you're never disconnected from the world you want to explore. The walk-through galley offers storage, ease of use and safety underway. In the master stateroom every cubic inch has been utilized to provide a comfortable living space more often found on much larger yachts. The aft area being the most comfortable under way. A very important consideration for the long passages and sleeping comfort. The ensuite master bathroom is set up as a walk through to the nav station and main salon with an incorporated washer/dryer space. In the forward part of the yacht guest quarters are generous. A V-berth at the bow with an additional over/under crew cabin on the port side. When combined with the Hylas build quality, there are few yachts of this size that will carry you with such confidence and comfort to anywhere in the world.  Details »

A note on buying and selling safely:
Anytime you buy or sell on the Internet, due to the geographic reach of the ads, be careful of fraud.

It has recently come to our attention that at least one seller has received a scam e-mail offer in which the buyer offered to overpay for the boat and then requests a check for the difference in return - what has come to be known as a classic "Nigeria" scam.

Requests to overpay for the boat and have excess money returned or given to a shipping company are most likely fraudulent -- never do this without consulting with your bank first.

Please always use caution and your best judgment if presented with a deal which doesn't seem logical, and be sure to talk with your bank to be sure all checks and transactions have been completed, cleared, and verified before releasing any property. Be especially careful of any transactions from overseas where such transactions might be reversed after some time due to fraud.

  • Never give your password to anyone. SailboatListings.com will never ask for your password. Any such request is an attempt at phishing.
  • If a new buyer asks you to purchase a boat history report from a third-party website, do not do this. This may be a scam.
  • Contact the buyer or seller by (non-cell) phone as well as online to help confirm their identity.
  • If a boat is not where it says it is, this is a strong indication of fraud.
  • After discussing the details, have the boat surveyed and arrange to see the boat before any money changes hands.
