Back on the market as of May, 2026. "Fast 42." Custom made catamaran designed by French Naval Architect Michel Francqueville. No hurricane damage and never chartered. It just spent 3 years on the dry in Aruba where it was treated with multiple layers of copper coat. As far as I know it is the only one built of this size. Composite build out of fiberglass, airex foam, and wood. Comes with a main, a jib, and an asymmetrical spinnaker. Has autopilot, depth finder, radar, etc... I am in the process of updating the chart plotter and the wind vane. Just installed 2 new 650 W solar panels and 3 Victron Lithium batteries, 1.2 kw each. Has a 7 kw Northern Lights diesel generator as well. Comes with a 2012, gasoline, outboard Yamaha 90HP with about 650 hrs on it. It is very fuel efficient! It also has a bow thruster to maneuver in tight spaces. Comes with a 2015 aluminum/inflatable dinghy with an 8 HP outboard Yamaha, which I don't give value too, it comes for free. It was built in 1987 and it feels solid under your feet and while navigating. Currently has a freezer, refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, a barbecue grill, etc... Perfect for cruising. Inside, one will find 4 cabins with large beds for at least 2 people each. It has a full head in the captain cabin, a full head in the port hull, and an extra sink in one of the cabins. Mast clearance is approx 55 feet. The sailboat has daggerboards, therefore once retracted the boat is flat on its bottom, up until the rudders, which create a 4 feet draft. When under sail one completely lifts the engine out of the water, eliminating drag. Anchor with electric winch and 2 extra anchors. There is plenty of storage and it comes ready to cruise. I am the original owner of MariSue, my beloved 2021 Catalina 355. I purchased her directly from the factory via Ed Massey, my knowledgeable and helpful broker. We added all the creature comforts that we felt we wanted. For two seasons we sailed her in the Manatee River and Tampa Bay and then decided to bring her up to our home port in NJ, where she lies now. I have personally serviced her through the years and keep records. Because I sail the narrow Toms River in NJ and my shoulders have been giving me trouble, I chose the self-tacking headsail which makes coming about with one person effortlessly. In Late May 2024, I put Ruth Ann on the hard to go back home in order to make some money and help out the family. I was set to return just now, but have been offered another boat that I cannot pass up. Ruth Ann is now for sale. She is in Fort Pierce, FL awaiting adventures with someone else. We spent 3 years in a boatyard where I did a major refit. I repaired blisters and refaired the hull, rewired, re-plumbed, and re-rigged the boat. I set her up for simplicity. Between December 2022 and May 2024, I was living aboard full time. She was well equipped and well taken care of before going into storage. In fact, I have just finished making her a new Yankee and Staysail from Sailrite Kits. Last summer, the boatyard mechanic ran the engine for a bit, changed the oil, and checked it over. First 3 interior shots from the ad 4 years sgo, last 3 are from 4/30/2025. She sails like a dream, just needs cleaned up and checked out. Located in Heritage Boatyard,

FRESHWATER GEM on Lake Michigan! Chicago / Milwaukee area. This 1986 California built Laguna 30' sloop is in amazing condition with an impeccably clean non-smoking interior near factory new; even the original neutral all matching upholstery has no tears, stains, or smells. There is no diesel odor, the 18 hp Yanmar diesel starts and runs great with very little usage and has been very well maintained. The previous owner kept this small yacht for 22 years at the same professional marina spending most of the time in its storage cradle. The mid 1980's Laguna 30 was designed to compete with the older venerable Catalina 30, both having a very similar cabin layout. There is 6' 4" headroom below and a moderate draft of 4' 0" and a beam of 10' 8". Of particular advantage in this design, there are no keel bolts. It has a one-piece hull with internal lead ballast, great for structural integrity and longevity.
This boat is a great buy asking $23,500. In 2024, the marine underwriters at Safeco Insurance had no problem with an agreed insurance value of $20,000, and that was before the current owner spent several thousand dollars on upgrades and service. Any new boats of this size are about $250,000 or more. About a $1,000 hull compound and wax will make the hull appear like new, the bottom is in very good and clean condition with no known blisters. Even the original stainless steel gimballed Origo alcohol stove and oven shines like new (a new one is about $2,200). The galley is a large secure U shape with double sinks facing towards the social salon area. This sailboat is a great design by naval architect Shad Turner. Take a really good look at the photos! The boat is in very good condition. I recently pressure washed it and painted the bottom. The trailer has an active CT registration. The wheel hubs were replaced last fall and have approximately 50 miles on them. The tires are in solid shape and the lights work.
The only thing the boat needs is a replacement solar power connector the current one is rusted and unusable. The sails are not new but function as they should. They come with sail bags, so you can keep them on deck, and with the lazy jacks in place, getting the boat ready to sail takes less than 5 minutes. The boat also comes with an electric winch, so you can raise and lower the mast single-handed with no effort or stress.
The listed price is for the boat only. The outboard motor and autopilot are available separately ($300 each). The boat also includes a dinghy with oars and a pump at no extra cost (note: the right side leaks air, so the hole will need to be located and patched).
Delivery is available for a small fee. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Located in Agawam,
Massachusetts.

First owned by Steele Griswold - former owner of Shelburne Shipyard - Mame is a classic Sparkman & Stephens custom Tartan-41. The hull and deck were ordered unfinished from Tartan Marine in 1974 and delivered to the Shelburne Shipyard where the interior and teak toe rail were installed to Mr. Griswolds specifications.
The Tartan 41 was designed by S&S at the request of Charlie Britton, founder of Tartan Marine, Co., who was eager to produce a boat to compete with the new Nautor Swans. Both were designed by S&S and are almost identical versions of the famous racing sloop Morning Cloud commissioned by Sir Edward Heath.
Midway through her racing career Steel Griswold, an engineer by training, hired S&S to oversee the modification of the hull and rudder. The original skeg and rudder were removed, and a new spade rudder was installed about a foot further aft. The underbody and keel were completely faired with a finer entry forward. The mast is a custom tall rig double spreader with Navtec rod rigging and hydraulics.
The boat was repowered, and a teak cockpit installed by the second owner complete with Harken electric winches and Raymarine electronics as well as Harken roller furling, windlass, and anchor bow roller.
Mame has always been stored and professionally maintained to the highest standard by the Shelburne Shipyard. She is now located at the Shennecosset Yacht Club, Groton, CT. Located in Shennecossett Yacht Club 1010 Shennecossett Rd Groton CT 06340Groton,

1984 Wiggers J/N 39 Fractional One-Ton "Encore"
The Joubert/Nivelt 39 Wiggers Lager 40 One Ton is the limited production version of Diva, a boat which swept the IOR in 1983, winning the Fastnet Race, Admiral's Cup, SORC, and other major events.
For notes on the history of the design, see rbsailing.blogspot.com/2013/04a-joubertnivelt-one-tonner.html
Encore was originally delivered to San Diego and later made her way to Lake Michigan. She sailed out of Michigan City, Indiana for many years and was purchased in 2011 by a passionate racer in St Joseph, Michigan. Under his ownership, she was extensively refurbished in both hull and deck, all wet core was removed and replaced with the deck, bottom, and hull professionally fared and refinished.
Today she is an absolutely solid boat. You can sound any part of her structure without worry. The decks have Kiwi-Grip non-skid, beautifully refinished. The scariest part of buying an old boat is fixed on this one; she is solid. The bottom was faired and coated with epoxy barrier coat, as well as multi-season bottom paint. All deck hardware was removed and replaced with Butyl tape bedding.
The interior of the boat has not been refurbished, and interior surfaces could use varnish and/or paint.
The engine is a Universal Diesel model 5424, an in-line 3 cylinder, with fresh water cooling, serial number 311-603. Hours are unknown. We have done a great deal of work getting her ready for the water, including installing a host of new engine parts, including:
- New OEM Facet electric fuel lift pump (old one worked is now a spare)
- New impeller for the fresh water pump, old one as a spare
- New exhaust hose for run from engine to rear bulkhead
- New thermostat, old one as a spare
- Rebuilt alternator
- New and spare fan belts
- New oil pressure sender
- New temp sender
- New and spare oil filter
- New and spare fuel filter
- Three spare glow plugs
- Fresh antifreeze (engine is fresh water cooled) Located in St Joseph,
Michigan.

ACHATES is a 26' traditional design by Carl Alberg. Under sail she is a joy to sail with lively performance but also with comfortable seaworthy motion. I have frequently sailed her singlehanded. Her outboard operates in a well that is within easy reach of the helmsman and is stowed out of the water when not in use. She has 4 berths in 2 cabins, a small but workable galley and a portable head. Poor health and 83 birthdays convinced me I need to sell her. Located in Beaufort,
South Carolina.

The Pearson Triton is a 28.5-foot full-keel sloop designed by Carl Alberg in 1958 and produced by Pearson Yachts from 1959 to 1967. One of the first fiberglass auxiliary sailboats built in the United States, the Triton debuted at the 1959 New York Boat Show and was an immediate sensation, launching both Pearson Yachts and Alberg's career as a designer. Approximately 750 were built. Known for a sea-kindly hull, surprising interior volume for her size, and a proven offshore pedigree, including multiple circumnavigations, the Triton was inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame and remains one of the most respected small cruising sailboats ever produced.
I have owned, maintained, and actively sailed this Triton since 2009. Over sixteen years of stewardship, first in Bristol, RI, and then here in Rockport, ME, she has received a comprehensive refit including a rebuilt Beta 20 diesel, complete rewiring, new fuel system, faired and repainted bottom and topsides, new sails, and more, all while trying to preserve the character and seaworthiness that make the Triton a legend. She has proven herself offshore with a 2017 Gulf of Maine crossing as well as won her Wednesday night racing fleet multiple years running in her hometown of Bristol, RI. This trustworthy and beautiful old girl is ready for her next chapter as my partner and I have recently acquired a Bristol 40.
Most attached photos taken in the last year.
She is currently under cover on the hard in Camden, ME. Please reach out and I will be happy to meet you at the boat for a visit. Located in Camden,

That's a fast boat. This is what everyone says when we tell them what we sail. Almost to a person. It soon became something of a joke aboard.
Every boat has a story and this one's this: she'd been raced in Port Washington by a stockbroker who assembled what seems to have been a formidable team. Devoted significant resources to making a fast boat faster: new rig designed by a very competent rigger (if their splices are any indication), faired the hull, replaced all the hardware, tracks and winches with Harken gear.
We bought her in 2017 and over the years weve made her into a very capable cruiser: each upgrade being geared towards being more self-sufficient, minimizing the need to come into a yacht club instead of staying on the hook. Have traveled as far east as Wood's Hole, circumnavigating Long Island most summers on our two week cruise.
Everyone always talks about having a racer/cruiser but this boat is the real deal. Take off on a weekend trip Friday evening--you've got solar, refrigeration, a 50 gallon water bladder, a composting head that needs no pumpout boat (and no, it doesn't smell) roller furling genny and a dacron main with two reefs in case the wind pipes up. Put some music on and set the autopilot. Drop the hook, make a rum & tonic and hang out under the quick deploy custom sunshade and to enjoy a weekend of cruising life.
Couple days later, come out an hour early for your Wednesday evening beer can race and in five minutes the windage and weight of the solar panels is gone, hoist the Quantum carbon/kevlar main on the vectran halyards, pop the roller furler off for clean, deck sweeping headsail entry (you've got three Quantum laminate headsails to choose from), empty out the 200L bladder and plug in the 5 gallon water cube and you're off to the races. Adjustable oversize whisker and Quantum AP spinnaker for the downwind run. And by the way, that composting head probably saved you 250 pounds by removing the head, related plumbing, and holding tankage.
This is the real turnkey boat, lovingly maintained. Look Below: Located in Staten Island,
New York.

$2000 Price reduction 5/6/2026
We have moved to the East Coast and purchased a boat there to refit, or we would not be selling this beautiful vessel. With today's prices, it did not make sense to transport her overland, or we would have. We also got a dog and needed a little bigger boat!
We purchased this vessel in the SF Bay Area in July of 2018. We immediately started a refit to bring her up to current standards and cruising condition. My husband is a marine electrician, and I have worked in boatyards, so the upgrades are top-notch.
You can see the layout and specs at https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/s2-110-c/. This vessel is the shoal-draft version with a balsa-cored hull above the waterline. There is no damage to the core anywhere. I prefer a cored boat for its insulation and added stiffness.
There is a spacious walk-through head with an AirHead composting toilet, all correctly set up and working well, no holding tank, no smell. I am on the East Coast when posting this listing and will add more pictures when I get to the boat in a couple of weeks.
She will sleep 6, with 2 in each area: V-berth, salon settees, and aft cabin. The boat is most comfortable for 3 people: 2 in the aft cabin and 1 in the V-berth. Located in Ventura,
California.

This well-equipped and constantly updated Catalina 320 is a sailor's dream. It's easy to sail, easy to maintain and fast.
Beamy and modern, it looks like a dock queen. But raise the sails and, suddenly, it's slipping along at 5 to 7 knots with one hand on the well-balanced wheel. In capable hands, it makes successful showings in weekend races. On cruises, the ride is smooth, easy and stable.
Down below, the dock queen label fits. The aft cabin has a queen-sized berth and plenty of stowage. The full galley has a deep fridge and a small freezer, a gimballed propane stove with oven, plenty of counter space and storage, a double sink. To starboard in the cabin is a dinette that seats four and converts to a double berth. A settee that seats three is to port. Forward is a full V berth that can serve as a second double or as storage.
This versatile design allows Sonas to become whatever you want:
She works fine as a weekend getaway at the marina where you enjoy a day sail, then barbeque on the propane grill and enjoy sundowners before retiring to the air-conditioned cabin for the night. A liveaboard with comfortable space for one or a cozy couple. A coastal cruiser with an easy-boarding sugar scoop stern that can whisk you away to the Keys or the Bahamas.
Sonas draws 4 feet, 3 inches with a wing keel, perfect for the West Coast of Florida's shallow water. A powerful Yanmar 3GM30F diesel in great shape pushes the boat easily with a three-bladed prop at .4 gallons an hour. A full-battened main and 130 percent jib propel the boat on the wind.
She has an autopilot, a full bimini, 320 watts of solar power, heavy-duty golf cart batteries, an inverter, a waterproof tablet mounted on the helm as a chartplotter, a remote VHF at the helm, a propane grill, stern seats, a hypalon dinghy with Honda outboard, a Rocna anchor with 80 feet of chain, an electric windlass and more.
Best of all, unlike most used sailboats on the market, all of this gear is relatively new. You will not find 25-year-old systems here. Located in St Petersburg,
Florida.

This offer is for a one-of-a-kind custom yacht by Seal Cove Boatyard completed in 2004 by a total refit of a 39-foot sloop elegant in design, superior in sailing performance, and durable in construction and hull strength. She is the perfect boat for a couple sailing the Maine Coast. Big enough for comfortable sailing and occasional overnight guests but small enough to navigate the winding passages, ledges and shoals of Maine and the Maritimes. With the centerboard up her 4.8-foot draft easily reaches the most pristine coves and anchorages or enables anchoring away from the crowd in popular destinations.
In 2004 to take advantage of the conservative and more durable construction of a Pearson 39 Mark I hull (1973) when compared to later production boats, and her exceptional sailing performance, a full custom refit by Seal Cove Boatyard, Harborside, Maine one of the most respected in Maine for the high quality of its craftsmanship, created a custom yacht with exceptional craftsmanship, added safety features and equipment for extended cruising. The wisdom of creating a custom yacht by totally refitting a conservatively built durable hull was confirmed in 2005-2006 cruising the Caribbean, in 2011 in the Bahamas and in recent years while continuing to cruise Maine and the Canadian Maritimes.
She is stored inside at Independent Boat Haulers, 126 Harold Dow Highway, Eliot Maine 03903 and annually maintained and selectively upgraded by skilled marine craftsman new rigging 2015, New stainless steel Andersen 52 ST primary winches and a dedicated stainless steel Andersen 40 ST roller furling winch in 2021; engine fuel injector and hardware overhaul 2024; chain plate upgrade to 316L, new Edson steering cables, new cutlass bearing, new power flush head, and new roller furling genoa in 2026 to keep her as a top choice for cruising the Maine Coast. Except for the two winters in the Caribbean and Bahamas she is in the water June to October and in inside storage November to May. Offered at the Survey confirmed FMV of $98,500. Some boats are just equipment. This one is a sailor's boat.
The Allied Seabreeze is a Maclear & Harris design with a devoted following for good reason. She's handsome, seakindly, and built for actual cruising. This one has been actively sailed and carefully maintained by sailors who used her the way she was meant to be used.
Hull 14 sleeps six comfortably. She carries four anchors, a full wardrobe of sails, and enough gear to leave tomorrow. The dodger and windlass motor were replaced in 2020, the headstay roller furling in 2018. The main and mizzen carry full-length battens. All sails in use have been inspected and repaired by a sailmaker.
One thing to know upfront: she has forward gear but no reverse. The transmission needs replacing. She's been handled comfortably on a mooring field without reverse, and a competent sailor will manage fine while sorting it on their own timeline. Asking price is reflective of this issue. We're telling you this first because that's how we do things.
Looking to find her next owner before July 1. Sold as-is to the right sailor. Someone who appreciates a classic, understands what maintenance means, and isn't frightened by a transmission project on an otherwise enviable boat.
Full gear list available. She's on the hard at a boatyard in Freeport and available for inspection by appointment. Located in Freeport,
Maine.

Resolute gets compliments every day wherever she goes. Dry inside, no leaks, many upgrades. Turn key. She's fast and responsive with her eliptical keel and rudder (like a Spitfire wing). Her bottom was recently prepped like the owner has always done; wet sanded down to her barrier coat and she received two coats of hard, burnishable multi-season bottom paint, so she's setup for the next two years. You will love the non-skid on deck and the cockpit flooring. No wood outside to maintain. Sails are on, and she's been sailing. At the dock, her air conditioner does a great job cooling or heating the cabin when needed, which makes weekending or living aboard very comfortable. Headroom is 6'2" and she has many sleeping options with two pilot berths two pipe berths aft. She's setup for solo sailing but can be handled by a couple, or raced more competively with a full crew of friends. The helm is balanced and she points high with both sails, just the jib, or just the main. This beautiful 1989 design is actually 35' long, comes with 8 sails for both cruising and racing and everything aboard is in working order. Pipe berths and the vee berth can be removed to lighten the boat for racing. She has a Selden retractable sprit for assyms as well as a pole for flying regular spinnakers.
Maneuvering her into a slip is so easy because of her MaxProp and spade rudder. She makes me look like a pro, when it's really good design.
Check her out at White Rocks Marina, in Pasadena, Maryland, slip E8/. Complete tours can be arranged by text. Asking price dropped to $35,000. More pics at Facebook, "Resolute, a 1989 C&C 34R" Send text to 609-703-0790. Located in Pasadena,

PROJECT To those expecting to set sail for the islands immediately, this is not ready. Needs cleaning in and out. The plywood around the windows needs replacing as portholes were left open for two years prior to my purchasing. These things are overbuilt to sail the world.
Nor'Sea 27 traditional aft cockpit, (NOT aft cabin, CENTER cockpit) tall rig factory finished. All original. Has not been in the water for 15 years. Most of it's life spent in Alaska. 1980 E-Z Loader two axle trailer that I put $4,117 in ten years ago. Surge brake removed, electric brakes added to both axles making it legal in all 50 states and Canada. Upgraded to 17.5" forged aluminum wheels and upgraded commercial tires. Each tire and wheel rated for 6,005lbs which is more than double the original plus I gained a little more clearance. In theory a flat tire will not overload the remaining tire. I went down the rabbit hole in being safe and tend to over-do everything I change.
I am the second owner and has been Coast Guard Documented since new. USCG bill of sale and PA Trailer Title. Brokers and resellers add your fee. Great Air B&B for people that want to test the waters for sleepover.
This was my retirement dream but life keeps getting in the way. My business stayed busy through covid and after. Even today at 71 I'm having a tough time with an exit plan. Health has thrown me a couple of curve balls and throwing in the towel. In the process of moving to NC and will not have time to do what I wanted.
Yanmar diesel was professionally winterized and laid up. Has not been started.
Located about 5 minutes from I-81. Need 3/4 or 1 ton with brake controller. I had it delivered with an F350 and the trailer at that time had no brakes and dry rotted leaking tires. I am back and forth between PA and NC. Located in CHAMBERSBURG,
Pennsylvania.

My family and I have enjoyed the Glen-E for the past few seasons at lake Perry but would now like to upgrade. It comes with a custom built trailer on which she is sitting currently nearby the marina where I have a slip that can be transferred. We sailed through this past season. The atomic 4 engine required some work (gasket, impeller, new starter) but is now working well. Comes with a good condition genoa, fair condition jib, and 2 fair condition main sails. It could use some work but can be used in its current condition. Pictures are from 2025. Includes all cushions. Located in Lake Perry,

Far Below Blue Book
Huge Interior with private full sized bed master cabin aft and V berth cabin foreward.
These amazing world cruisers were designed by Rod Johnstone who is the famed founder of J Boats and who rose to fame designing the J22, J24, J40 and other more modern vessels which have the largest class racing fleets.
The J 37 was built tough but fast and light, to compete in ocean cruising races like the Newport to Bermuda race, the BajaHaHa and other offshore races for active cruisers who want a boat comfortable enough and tough enough to live on and cruise the world but also fun enough and fast enough to win long distance ocean races in the Caribbean, South Pacific and Mediterranean.
This is the wing keel version of the J37 (J37C) which was a later advancement over the standard model. This was also Rod's own personal vessel which was taken around to boat shows to show off when J Boats was taking orders from prospective new owners.
This is a budget buyers dream vessel for someone who wants to save more than 50% on the purchase of a J37. These routinely sell for 45K to 60K depending on condition. This one is priced at the incredibly low price of only $18K because it needs to have electronics upgraded and the motor needs either servicing and repair or replacement.
In a worst case scenario freshly serviced direct swap out Yanmar 3GM motors on a pallet can be purchased for around 4K to 5K although it is possible that the motor is much less serious fix. No reasonable cash offer will be refused on this vessel. I'm happy to take your call and have a conversation about all the details I know of this vessel. Has nearly new sails, roller furling, self tailing winches, solid stainless rod rigging.

Selling my 1989 Catalina 30 due to lack of use. This Holby Marine Tripp 37 is fully equipped for racing and cruising. Ticker comes with a beautiful teak interior and bench seats in the cockpit for 4 to 6 adults.
She rates 90 under MWPHRF and 654.7 under ORC.
Ticker was designed by William Tripp III who was chief designer for Doug Peterson. She was built by Holby Marine in 1987. The data on the Tripp 37 can be found at: sailboatdata.com/sailboat/tripp-37
Ticker's asking price reflects that over $20,000 has been spent on upgrades since 2020 including carbon fiber racing sails, a dacron cruising mainsail, B&G instruments and other upgrades.
Ticker is a USCG documented vessel and was surveyed in March 2022.
Construction
The Tripp 37 has a divinycell closed foam cored fiberglass deck and hull with an aluminum structural grid. Ticker has a lead keel and a fiberglass rudder. There have been no issues with water intrusion.
Ergonomic Cockpit Design
Ticker has a unique cockpit layout. The primary winches are forward. This creates a standing platform so the trimmer can put his leg muscles into trimming the jib. There are seats aft for guests. The tiller steering enables the helmsman to sit further forward reducing weight in the stern.
Interior
Tickers's main cabin is unfinished teak which belies its potential beauty. The photo of a sistership shows how Ticker will look with 3 coats of varnish. Add new cushions with the varnish and Ticker will look like a Nautor Swan down below. The main cabin has full headroom, galley and nav station. It comes with a B&G chart plotter mounted on a swivel arm so it can also be used on deck. The main cabin has two settees, two pilot berths, and a removable table. There is a two-burner Origo alcohol stove, icebox, and sink. Forward there is a V-berth, enclosed head with sink and marine toilet with macerater pump (both new in 2022). Remove the aft berths and there is no weight in the ends of the boat. Located in Bayview YC Detroit,
Michigan.

FOR SALE: STARRY NIGHT A TRUE BLUE‑WATER DIX 43 CUTTER READY FOR ANY OCEAN
Performance Cruising Cutter, Long Fin Keel, Fully Skegged Rudder. Email for Complete Specs!
For sailors who value strength, simplicity, and ocean‑crossing capability above all else, Starry Night stands apart as a rare opportunity. Professionally built in 1991 by renowned South African craftsman Brian Alcock and designed by legendary naval architect Dudley Dix, this vessel is Hull #1 of the Dix 43 line the boat that launched one of the most respected steel cruising designs in the world. As the document notes, This vessel was designed and constructed to be a true-blue water cruiser.
Currently cruising the Pacific Northwest and dry‑stored off‑season, Starry Night has been lovingly maintained, thoughtfully upgraded, and prepared for self‑reliant voyaging anywhere. Her owners describe her as a great and safe vessel for the Pacific NW or any place on the planet.
BUILT FOR OCEAN PASSAGES READY FOR REMOTE CRUISING
The Dix 43 is celebrated for its rugged steel construction, balanced sailing characteristics, and offshore pedigree. Starry Night features a semi‑round bilge (radius chine) hull, fin keel, and skeg‑hung rudder with a massive Orca-proof rudder shaft a level of structural confidence few modern production boats can match.
Her hull integrity has been consistently verified, including a full ultrasonic inspection prior to the current ownership, with only minor items noted. Because she is stored out of the water most of the year, a fresh survey is easy to arrange.
️ SYSTEMS DESIGNED FOR SIMPLICITY, RELIABILITY & MAINTAINABILITY
One of the defining philosophies behind Starry Night is ease of maintenance at sea. The owners highlight the designs focus on simplicity and maintainability, including:
Exceptional engine access, Internal tankage forming a double hull,
Deep bilge with multiple pumps
Manual freshwater pumps to prevent accidental tank depletion.
These choices reflect the priorities of serious offshore sailor. Located in Pacific Northwest,

Third owner of "Al-E-Cat" (original name) since 1995. This boat spent its first 10 years on the fresh water of Lake Michigan. Second owner sailed her in the Shrewsbury and Navesink rivers in New Jersey, and I have sailed her in the Barnegat Bay from the Metedekonk River at the northern end to points south as far as Barnegat lighthouse. The vast majority of my sails were day sails in the bay between the Seaside Bridge and the Mantoloking Bridge. On average I sailed her 8 to 10 times a season. She's a wonderful shallow water daysailer with a roomy cockpit and a sweet little cabin down below. She is currently in indoor storage for teak refinishing and other costmetics.
I did have the deck and cabin exterior painted by David Beaton & Sons in 2022. However, the hull has some significant scratches on the starboard side from Superstorm Sandy (no she did not sink or have any structural damage - she's build like a brick outhouse!) and port side also needs some cosmetic gelcoat repair and the entire hull really could use new paint to make her shine again. She is sound and watertight and can be launched and sailed as is, but she's worth the TLC.
RECENT IMPROVEMENTS:
Deck & cabin exterior painted by David Beaton & Sons in 2022.

A Teak Tiger to Take You Around the World
Legendary sought after design by famed naval architect William Garden. Island Trader 41s are some of the most well regarded heavy displacement bowsprit cruisers from back when the quality and durability of your vessel was what kept you alive rather than relying on modern electronics and forecasting to attempt to avoid big storms.
These boats are so comfortable even in huge waves. 9000 lb of ballast. A comfort ratio as smooth as silk. An incredible displacement to length ratio of 395 and a lot of sail area to push it. These boats sail like an absolute dream. On a beam reach you pretty much just point them where you want to go and it will sail itself there.
The teak interior answers the question of what happened to all the rainforests of south east asia. There is no brand in the world still building small ships with this type of glamorous pirate ship interior now. If you want one to sail today and gift to your grandchildren years from now, the only way to buy one is to acquire one of the classics built during that era.
This is a tremendous opportunity to achieve a circumnavigation capable, comfortable and exceedingly durable global cruiser from the height of the classic plastic era. Built in Taiwan of super thick woven roving fiberglass with a full keel, dual anchors and windlass, easy to handle ketch rig, two full size cabins and a gorgeous salon that seats 8 easily and 10 or 12 in a pinch for a rained out deck party.
As an even more attractive possibility for middle class sailors intending to cruise the world but who don't have mountains of cash, I am offering 50% seller financing with 0% APR.
I am a boat professional who does vessel restoration. I love working on the bright work on these fantastic classic vessels. Want to have all this gray teak restored with 7 coats of varnish. I will include that at no extra charge.

1986 Cape Dory 26, #54 of 78 made between 1984-1986, for sale @ $13,500, with a 2001 Yamaha T9.9 outboard motor. She is a great pocket cruiser and easy to single-hand sail. It is the big sister to the Cape Dory iconic 25D, but unlike the 25D, which is fitted with an inboard diesel, the Cape Dory 26 was engineered with a dedicated outboard wella design choice intended to offer the reliability of modern outboard power while preserving the classic, full-keel lines and substantial displacement that define the brand. The vessel was an affordable, simplified alternative to the 25D, offering similar sea-keeping capabilities with a slightly updated interior and rig.
The Cape Dory 26 is a quintessential Carl Alberg design, characterized by a narrow beam, low freeboard, and a full keel with an attached rudder. With a Displacement/Length (D/L) ratio exceeding 330, it is firmly categorized as a heavy displacement cruiser. This weight provides a "sea-kindly" motion that is rare for a boat under 27 feet; it tracks exceptionally well and resists the "pounding" often associated with modern, flat-bottomed fin-keel designs. The ballast-to-displacement ratio of roughly 45% makes the boat quite stiff, allowing it to carry full sail longer than its lighter competitors as the breeze refreshes. With 2,400 pounds of ballast, her capsize ratio is at 1.84 (officially deemed safe for offshore sailing). Additional specs are LOA: 25.82; LWL: 19.25, beam: 8.0; draft: 3.58, and displacement: 5,418 lbs.
The interior of the Cape Dory 26 follows a traditional "four-berth" cruising layout that feels spacious because of her 8 beam. The cabin features a V-berth forward, followed by a midships head and a main salon with two opposing settees that double as berths. This boat has a balanced distribution of space, including a functional galley located near the companionway for better ventilation.
We have added new Lemar 30 winches, a transom, a beautiful Ritchi compass, a 100W solar panel, a 1000W power inverter, a Renogy battery monitor, and a Blue Sea electric circuit control panel Located in Biddeford,
Maine.

DETAILS:
It is a one design class keel sport-boat which is easy to sail and trailer. The U20 was named Sailing World's 1995 Boat of the Year in the PHRF/Sportboat category. The class association is active. The class website, u20class.org, has a lot of information including detailed description and specifications for the U20. There are also a number of YouTube videos.
My U20, hull number 7, was built in 1994 as one of the original boats built by Ron Moore. Ron Moore is widely considered one of the best builders of U20s.
I purchased this boat in August 2024. At that time, it had not been used very much which led to its sale. Since I have owned it, I used it only a handful of times regretfully. My sailing season in New Hampshire is short, typically 4 to 6 weeks of vacation sailing per year. The racing crew size is 3, and it can accommodate 4 for day sailing. The asymmetrical spinnaker allows sailing with the spinnaker single handed. The electric motor with twist handle reverse and very low speed capability is far superior to a small gasoline outboard for tight maneuvering in heavy and light air.
The boat has been well maintained. Recently I had deck work completed to deal with a soft spot, and I also had the bottom redone with an exposed sealant and anti-flouling. Winter storage has been inside for all but one year when it was shrink wrapped. In 2019/20 the boat had extensive refreshing which included fiberglass repairs to the hull and cabin top; the center support in the watertight compartment was also repaired and the interior deck repaired; other improvements included new windows, new interior hatches, new cockpit hatch, sheet bags, covers, tiller pilot, gel coat repairs, new dutchman rig for the mainsail, new main sheet block, new code zero sail with top down furler, new Torqeedo 1103c electric motor in 2022 and new 915kwh battery in 2023. In August 2024 the hull was sealed with epoxy and two coats of bottom paint, as boat was on float on salt water. Located in Durham,
New Hampshire.

I have been the very satisfied sole owner of my 1984 documented Herreshoff Cat Ketch 31, NOMAD. If you are not familiar with this design, please FIRST read the excellent comprehensive review from Practical Sailor (search PS reviews under " herreshoff-cat-ketch-31 "). Although the review emphasizes the simplicity and excellent sailing qualities of the design, I would feature her fine sea-keeping ability and ease of single handing (no winches, main and mizzen sheets easily handled while seated at the tiller). And, she has a unique tabernacle system for the freestanding masts that can be operated at no cost by a single person dockside or at anchor. With masts folded,'air draft' is 12 ft. Her interior is the optional two cabin layout in tropical oak, Tabebuia rosea. (see interior photos and cabin layout plan)
Her master, having reached the ripe old age of 85, has caused Nomad to seek a new master who; Wants to coastal cruise and gunkhole in comfort with their partner or family, Values the elegance, simplicity, practicality and romance of a classic design, Appreciates the wisdom that L.Francis Herreshoff imparts in The Complete Cruiser,
If the above describes you, Nomad would like you to contact her current owner to get acquainted. Located in Patchogue,

We've had this boat for five years. It's really easy to sail. Which was perfect because we were just learning, taking classes in Kemah. It needed a lot of TLC but that was okay. Boat maintenance is just part of being a sailor. We are selling the boat because we are moving on to chartering catamarans in the Caribbean.
Functionally the boat is in good shape.
New sheets and halyards. The mainsail is a little stretched in the belly but no rips or tears. The jib is good. The hull paint is not great and the deck has a few peeling spots. The engine starts right up and hardly uses any fuel.
It is located at Lake Palestine Marina, TX. The slip is paid for thru March 2027.
All offers will be considered. Located in Lake Palestine,
Texas.

The Perfect Escape --
is a Gemini 105M named Lucky Stars. Lucky Stars is hull #642, designed by Tony Smith and built by Performance Cruising Inc. in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1999. She measures 34-feet long, beam of 14 feet and variable draft from 18 inches to 5 feet, depending upon configuration of the centerboards and rudders. An air draft of 48 feet allows Lucky Stars to clear many fixed bridges that stop other sailboats.
It is rare for a 1999 boat to have had only two owners, but such is the case with Lucky Stars! Most recently the boat was purchased near Annapolis in October 2024 and sailed single-handed to Florida. The owner has kept the boat well maintained and made important repairs and upgrades, including a new centerboard (2024), refrigeration (2025), solar (2025) and three new AGM batteries (2026).
Lucky Stars is an exceptional value for a sail-away catamaran. Lucky Stars can be viewed at the Safe Harbor Marina in Cape Coral, Florida, through April. Located in Cape Coral,
Florida.

Affinity projects the best of American exceptionalism: Form and function in design, pride and skill in fabrication. All product plans of J.G. Alden Co. are now maintained at the Hart Nautical Museum of M.I.T. Digitized plans specific to Alden 4507 are included with the boat.
Affinity is hull no. 7 of the 8 Alden 43-45s designed by J.G. Alden in Boston and built by Alden Yachts in Portsmouth, RI, during the 1990s.The five 45-footers are at a pinnacle of both elegance and performance in 20th Century American yacht design.
The Niels Helleberg design replaced the older centerboard 44s. Affinity sails flatter and faster with a modern bulb-keel underbody and composite internal frame and hull structure, effectively obsoleting more-advertised and familiar downeast production yachts. Compare the ballast displacement ratio with alternatives! Materials and assembly technologies developed by J.G Alden also remain state-of-the-art for durability.
Affinity rewards the eye with classic lines and proportions. A favorite of club launches! Cabin layout and precision joiner work below are outstanding.
Affinitys unique features include:
- New 2024 GMT carbon-fiber spar
- New Navtec rod rigging
- GMT update to Leisure Furlin-boom furling
The boat has been lightly used, maintained to very high standards, and presents as being substantially new. The hull, decks and gelcoat are in near-perfect condition, as is the varnished teak trim. About 1580 hours on a strong Wester beke 63 Diesel. A variety of sails in excellent condition, including a fully battened in-boomfurling main and a new radial 95% furling jib with carbon fiber reaching strut for ease of sail handling.
The present owner hopes the pleasure he and his family have had with Affinity for 10 years will continue for years to come with another appreciative owner and family. Given Affinitys design, condition and provenance, some value appreciation is possible. Located in Falmouth,
Maine.

Hunter 44 Deck Salon, 2 cabins, fully equipped and in very good condition.
The 2007 Hunter 44 Deck Salon (DS) is a Glenn Henderson-designed coastal and offshore cruiser known for its exceptional interior volume, natural light, and ease of handling for short-handed crews. It evolved from the Hunter 426 DS and is distinguished by a raised cabin top and panoramic windows.
Key Design & Performance Features
Hull Design: Features a unique "bow hollow" that creates a longer waterline for increased speed and a "stern reflex" to enhance stability and reduce wake.
B&R Rig: A backstay-less fractional rig that allows for a larger mainsail with a structural arch over the cockpit to keep the mainsheet and traveler out of the way.
Easy Handling: Most models are equipped with in-mast furling for the mainsail and roller furling for the jib, with all lines led aft to the cockpit for single-handed control.
Cockpit: A massive, clear cockpit area includes a walk-through transom, a folding Lewmar wheel for better walkability at anchor, and integrated stern pulpit seats.
The 2007 Hunter 44DS has a total fresh water capacity of 140 US gallons (530 litres).
Reservoir Configuration & Locations
Unlike smaller vessels with a single tank, the Hunter 44DS distributes this volume across three separate reservoirs to balance the boat's weight and optimize storage.
The tanks are located in the following areas:
Forward Tank: Located under the V-berth in the forward guest cabin.
Port Tank: Situated under the floorboards on the port side, often near the water heater and settee area.
Aft Tank: Some configurations place a tank under the master berth or within a cockpit locker.
Additional Tankage Specifications
Fuel Capacity: Standard models carry 51 to 66 gallons of diesel.
Holding Tank: A single 45-gallon tank is standard for waste management.
Water Heater: Includes an 11-gallon tank that operates via engine heat exchange or AC power Located in Green Cove Spring,
Florida.

Solid and dependable cruising in classic Island Packet style. Welcome aboard John B, a meticulously maintained 1987 Island Packet 31 cutter rig designed by renowned naval architect Bob Johnson. With an immaculate Yanmar 3GM30F engine showing only 680 hours, professionally inspected standing rigging (2022), and comprehensive sail inventory including roller furling genoa and club-footed staysail, she's turn-key ready for weekend cruising, long-distance sailing, or living aboard.
DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
The Island Packet 31 represents Bob Johnson's masterful integration of traditional catboat design principles with modern cruising requirements. Built by Island Packet Yachts from 1983-1989 with only 262 hulls produced, this design features a long keel configuration with optional centerboard. The wide 11'6" beam provides tremendous interior volume while maintaining excellent sailing characteristics. The full keel with cutaway forefoot offers superior tracking and seakeeping while the cutter rig allows versatile sail configurations for all weather conditions.
CRUISING HIGHLIGHTS
Island Packets are renowned as tough, seakindly vessels designed to meet the needs of serious cruising sailors. The wide decks provide secure, ample maneuvering room with all sail handling accomplished from the safety of the cockpit - no need to go forward. The spacious cockpit features secure seating with the steering quadrant conveniently accessible under the helm seat. Below, the exceptional beam creates remarkable living space that belies the 31-foot length. The vessel's design philosophy emphasizes ease of handling, comfort, and blue-water capability.
VESSEL CONDITION
John B has been meticulously maintained and upgraded by her current owner. The engine is in immaculate condition, all sails are ready for immediate use, and recent upgrades include a new Garmin chartplotter installed in 2025. The standing rigging received professional inspection in 2022 and was found to be in excellent condition. Located in Wilmington,

This boat is a beautiful sailer. With a thinner beam, shallow draft & option to drop the centerboard, this sails so well in blue shallow water or in open water for longer distances. this boat has received alot of love in the past few years and hate to see it go but i am now landlocked & funds are keeping me away. with brand new all systems rewired & cleaned up, newer solar systems, many systems replaced & simplified, it is ready to enjoy & sail. i really enjoyed jumping around on this boat & learning it & she deserves to sail not sit. it is on the hard until 3/26 in green cove springs. it will be sailed for 3 weeks, then depending on the buyer will determine where it will end up & stored for transfer of sale! More & better pictures to come when down at the boat in a couple weeks. Located in Green Cove Springs,
Florida.
