Babylon - 1987 Catalina 36
WING KEEL - TALL RIG
Many upgrades to both seaworthiness and cabin comfort over my past four years of ownership totaling over $17k (actually tracked and not counting regular maintenance and repairs), including 16k btu reverse cycle heat/AC (2020), new refrigeration (2023), solar arch (2021), spinnaker (2020), many electrical improvements, LPG conversion, potable water, and other systems.
Many more pictures available upon request via google photos link. Copy of 2017 professional survey available upon request.
PA title and registration. Berthed in a lovely marina in Old City in the downtown area of Philadelphia, with a potentially transferable slip.
Layout At the base of the companionway steps is the U shape galley to port, featuring a newer Dickinson stove/oven, a fridge with brand new compressor/evaporator, ample storage space, and a double basin SS sink with filtered water. Opposite the galley on starboard is a large chart table and seat, along with the electrical panel. The salon features a large U shape seating area and table to port, which converts to a full double berth. On starboard is a two-seat dinette, which also converts to a single settee. On the bulkhead is mounted a 42 4k 60hz TV. Going forward is a very large head with a thermostatic shower and sump. Large lockers and drawers throughout. Finally, aft is the guest stateroom with another double berth, settee, and hanging locker. |
