This boat is ready to sail as is. Weather and sun exposures are destructive to boats and repairs can be expensive and quite time consuming. Over time as things deteriorate on a boat you will find a surprising amount of work that will need to be done. THE GOOD NEWS IS I have done much of the hard work already. I love this boat and have enjoyed the many hours spent repairing and operating with my kids. Only regret is not being able to complete the refurbishment. New Items and repairs I have made over the last 6 years of working on this boat are as follows. (see in equipment heading below).
The boat probably needs to be rewired although it's perfectly fine for day sailing. -Since it's a simple boat with a simple electrical system it shouldn't be that complicated. -I have purchased all new LED running lights for the mast and navigation lights to be reinstalled. -The Mast is in fine shape but will require new coax cable and wire if you want to run a radio or at night. The boat is a great candidate to be rigged and sailed single handedly. Price is negotiable.

-A very solid trailer.
-Newer and reliable Tohatsu 6hp 4stroke outboard motor.
-Brand new Sails with fewer then 10 hours on the boat.
-All new Halyards and sheet lines.
-Steel Keel has been Descaled, Surface filled with fairing compound and double coated with Barrier Coating before antifouling paint was applied. This will provide years of maintenance free time on the Keel.
-Interior Bulk heads attached to chain pates were replaced.
-Interior trim was removed, sanded and varnished with several coats of finish, then reinstalled
-New custom-made windows installed.
-Replaced tiller handle with newer teak tiller handle.
-Drop Boards remade with white marine board.
-Removed and replaced/resealed deck hardware.
-New Acrylic panel replaced in Fore Hatch.
