21' MacGregor Venture 21

This is a 1968 Macgregor Venture 21 sailboat in very good sailable condition with a 1977 Evinrude 6 HP motor. Price is 3100. without the motor.

Recently restored and stored under cover. Paint is very good.

Repainted trailer with new wheels, tires and lights looks like new. Bunting in very good condition. New spare wheel and tire. Separate trailer extension (new) for launching the boat without the towing vehicle entering the water.

Evinrude 6704 motor with many recent parts electronic ignition, plugs, wires. Runs well. With owners/operators manual, Evinrude 1977 service manual and Johnson/Evinrude 1973-89 repair manual.

1 main sail, 1 standard jib sail and 1 Genoa sail all in excellent condition. Boom rotates so main sail can be reefed around boom. New spreaders.

Mast raising system. Mast can be raised from the trailer at the bow.

Reconditioned keel and rudder
New/reupholstered cushions and carpet. Glass windows. They wont craze from the sun.

Stainless steel motor mount with new mount wood

New navigation lights and almost new Midland portable marine radio and compass

New mast support crutches and cradle

Storage under forward section. I added foam flotation, but it can removed if you want more storage space.

Classic rope bumper around boat.

This classic, moderately fast sailboat is in really nice condition. This is not a project boat so you wont need to put any work into it before sailing. There arent many vintage Macgregor 21 sailboats left in this condition. So, if you want one, this may be it.
