Very stout, sturdy steel boat. No rust! Ready to face the worst you can throw at her. Good size for a cruising couple, or just to ply your local waters.
Spars/Rig: Cutter rigged with a keel-stepped, spruce mast, spruce main boom, and spruce staysail boom with stainless rigging and Sta-Lok terminals. There are 4 sails, all in very good condition: a fully battened main with cover, Genoa, staysail with cover, and a drifter. All with reef points. Winches: 2 sheet. Running backstays.
Engine/Electrics: Powered by a single 20 HP, 1 cylinder Deutz 301, air cooled diesel engine with 340 hours on it. She has a Hurth reduction gear to a Michigan Wheel 3 blade bronze prop (NEW) via a 1" stainless steel shaft (NEW). There is one steel fuel tank of 20 US gallons capacity. 2 Additional 5 gallon diesel jerry cans. The engine compartment is very clean with FULL access all around. There are 2 batteries (1-12V start, 1-12V house), 120V shorepower. 1 80 watt solar panel mounted at stern with solar charger interface. Garmin Oregon handheld touch-based GPS with mount - includes all North American marine maps. ICOM VHF radio. Depthsounder, AM/FM/CD stereo system with in-built speakers. Anchor light, running lights, interior lights. Switch panel with easy access to fuses.
Interior: Down below she is a large open, fully finished interior, with varnished birch trim. Sea berth to starboard as you enter. 3 hatches in total with 7 bronze portholes. Lots of airflow.Kitchen to port as you enter. Currently has a 2 burner Coleman stove, but has a slot space for a full sized gimballed stove. Double stainless sink with bronze manual pump. Grey water runs to tank with auto-pump. 2x 40 gallon plastic fresh water tanks. 2 additional 5 gallon water jerry cans. Slide in-out cabinet with cooler.Opposite is 2 person table with sturdy mounting. Going forward more, 2 benches with head underneath starboard side. Jabsco marine head with 20 gallon plastic holding tank. Y valve with macerator pump. Full king sized v-berth with closets on either side. Forward of this is the chain locker. |
