      | Description: | I am selling Transformation. My Lapworth Gladiator 24 Sailboat. It is Sloop rigged, 24 feet long, with a ¾ keel. Built in 1965. It is extremely stable and seaworthy for a small boat. It is the same design sailed from Southern California around Cape Horn to Uruguay in a 130 day voyage by Frank Guernsey in 1998.
 All running rigging is routed to the cockpit, and I sail it single handed most of the time. It has roller furling for the 2 headsails, a Fully Battened Mainsail with 2 reef points, 2 spinnakers, and a Mercury 8hp outboard motor in great shape.
 
 It has an unused jabsco head and everything needed to connect it to the through-holes for installation. It is not currently installed, was stored by former owner to reduce race weight. Also comes with a Hassler servo-pendulum self-steering wind vane(not installed), and a Force-10 two burner propane stove with a broiler.
 
 The inside in very well appointed for a boat of this size. With nice counters, a deep sink, 30gal freshwater tank, some wonderful wood accents, and retro cushions with full leather bottoms for all the inside seats and berths. A former owner is a professional wooden boat builder and he added a small coach roof. It adds considerable headroom, and I even have 6 foot standing room inside the companionway. It has sleeping room for 4 in 2 bench berths and the V berth, and has long enough cockpit seats to camp out on under the stars.
 
 She sails very well and is extremely stable for a boat this size. She feels and handles like a bigger boat, especially in heavy weather. In the right wind and sea conditions she will pass boats 10ft longer. Which is probably why she has a few regatta wins to her pedigree. Some of the best sails I've had on it have been in 20-30kts, reefed down, holding a line. She is extremely balanced, and will hold course quite well with some proper sail trim.

      | Equipment: | I hate to sell her as she is a great adventure boat and can go just about anywhere, with her 50% displacement ratio and 4ft draft. I've sailed her extensively, and my skills and interests and focus of where I want to take my sailing has moved into larger cruising boats that can fit my growing family. The design combines a lot of the benefits and fun of having a small boat with the seaworthiness and stability of a big boat. It is one of the biggest small boats around. Its been wonderful to sail, and is a great ship to see where it takes you.
 It has a 2 spinnaker poles, which can easily be used as whisker poles for wing-on-wing.
 
 Has 5 sails; Jib, Genoa, Main w/2 reefs, Tri-radial Spinnaker, Asymmetrical Spinnaker. 2 anchors with a bunch of chain/rope rode.
 
 There is more as well: masthead antenna, depth sounder, lifesling, extra fuel tank, cd/radio, canvas sail cover, extra winch handle, required safety gear, etc..
 
 Lots to see on a great little boat. A perfect little pocket cruiser!
