Description: |
Designed by William Lapworth as a cruiser/racer, Defiance features a classic varnish finish teak interior with a teak and holly cabin sole. She offers the desirable Mark III two stateroom two head layout and has been extensively outfitted and upgraded for comfortable cruising. She has been kept beautifully. All opening ports and hatches have been reset, engine was rebuilt in 1996 and runs great. Sails are in excellent shape. The 135 genoa has a new sacrificial edge. The Main is rigged with a Dutchman furling system. She has all new standing and running rigging and lifelines. New roller furling system. New custom built headliner. New deep galley sink and counter tops. All the exterior teak has been kept up and varnished. Plenty of storage space and hanging lockerers.Salon cushions recently replaced. |

Perkins 4-108 engine (rebuilt 1996). 3 AGM batteries. 3 burner Kenyon Marine stove.Top loading Sea Frost 12 volt refrigerator. Standard Horizon hand held VHF with GPS. Standard Horizon staion VHF, Raymarine E7 chartplotter, radar, depth, knot, wind indicators, all integrated through SeaTalk. AM/FM stereo CD and ipod player. 16" three blade Max Prop. 4 Teak Dorades and Stainless Steel Cowls. Engine oil changing system, self trailing winches, air conditiong, force 10 cabin heater, stainless steel barbeque grill, dodger, bimini, ground tackle, 10 docking lines, safety harnesses, life preservers, cockpit cushions. Rudder Replaced in 2013. Spinnekar pole and sail in excellent condition.Overhead interior lighting has been changed to LED. |
