Description: |
This is an excellent William Crealock designed sailing sloop—only 400 were built. She boasts a roomy cockpit with wheel steering, a Constellation Danforth compass, has an overbuilt (in the best sense) fiberglass hull, 10.5 beam, 5.5 draft, and a fin with spade rudder. New lead and fresh bottom paint October 2017. Powered by a rebuilt Atomic 4 Universal gas engine with very low hours, has a 29 gallon tank. Comes with main sail, working jib, 150% genoa, 170% genoa, spinnaker, and flasher. They are older but in working condition. The mast, shrouds, stays and running rigging seem sound. New spreader installed 2014. Has two 45 gallon water tanks but they need resealing. Lots of teak, recently replaced cushions inside and out, 2 good 12 volt batteries, charger and engine starter, Icom VHF, wind direction indicator, and dinghy. New lights throughout cabin. Will include bosin chair, compost head, small fridge, heaters, canvas sun cover, bbq grill, and lots of tools. Has been and can be a live aboard. Currently in Jersey City, NJ. Slip paid through March 2018. I have a survey from September 2013. As with any vintage boat, there are some issues, but for someone who is patient and handy, they should be very manageable. Beyond the cosmetics, here are the bigger issues: hole in the exhaust manifold soft spot in entry—needs new flooring water tanks need repair replace/update instruments
