Description:
This is an example of the highly respected S 2 series of yachts built in the early 1980's. Runaway has been constantly upgraded and kept in yacht condition. She is equipped with a full set of cruising and racing sails, and equipment. She has a roomy interior with varnished teak bulkheads with teak and holly sole. Compare this solidly built cruiser to new production boats at four times the price and you will see why she is an excellent value in todays market. Owner is ready to sell and retire with his other boats and toys.
Runaway is a veteran of the Harvest Moon Regatta and the Mid-Atlantic Challenge and carries a PHRF of 174 Non-Spinnaker. She's a very capable blue water cruiser as well as cruiser/racer. Runaway had a complete new bottom job 10/2018

Four (4) Anderson 2-Speed self tailing winches
Bimini and Dodger (Dodger stored at owners garage)
Cockpit Cushions

Electronics:

Replaced Raytheon Nav. gauges with newer Raymarine TriData 150 (wind, speed, depth) Gauge - 2013
Replaced Marine Bank with Standard Horizon Explorer GPS Compact VHF radio with RAm3 second station remote

Engines:

Runaway has been repowered October 2013 with Yanmar 3YM30
