Gypsy Moon has had many upgrades and improvements in the past five years. The bottom was stripped and 5 coats of Interprotect E were applied. The interior was refinished. An AC subpanel and outlets, new LED lighting, a new weatherband stereo with interior and exterior speakers and remote in the cockpit, new VHF w/AIS DSC w/RAM mike at the helm. Also at the helm ST60 instruments, B&G Zeus 2 MFD- software recently updated and current C-MAP charts, IMUX multiplexer with WIFI to integrate it all. New sails in 2017, a fullbattened main and a 140 mitered furling genoa- excellent condition. Rigid boom vang, organizers and line clutches and adjustable jib leads also added and traveler rebuilt with new ends and added sheaves for added purchase. All control lines are led to cockpit. New STS lifelines (12,300 lbs tensile strength), 2 new anchor rollers, and anchors added. New LED anchor light, new three mile steaming light, bulbs in running lights replaced with LED. A high volume auxiliary bilge pump was installed. Genoa track was removed all bolts were replaced and then rebedded. Xantrex 3 bank charger was installed. There are two battery banks both are AGM thin plate pure lead batteries. In 2018 a new cutlass bearing and motor mounts were installed ,etc.
