42' Dufour Fractional Ownership Sailboat Partnership 425 Grand Large

Very good condition, well maintained, lots of spares and extras, 3 bedrooms with generous room, 3 bathrooms 3 electric flush heads w/ 4 showers, lots of upgrades. Comes turnkey, fully loaded absolutely everything you need to begin comfortable sailing.

We are selling fractional ownership in the boat as I can't sail it full time and want to offer it to other experienced sailors to help offset the costs. I have been in a fractional ownership before. I will be managing the partnership and will try to do most of the major maintenance myself to save us money.

Your share will be 2 weeks time allotted aboard the boat for the price ($15k Low Season or 18k high season) and you will be a partner owner. For the first 6 owners that buy in, you get 4 weeks your first year, and then 2 every year after per share. Your last day will be allotted for cleaning and repairs at the dock. Maintenance company and cleaner will come your last day to clean and fix anything.

Yearly there will be a cost breakdown of expenses for all owners with a $550 quarterly maintenance payment due by each owner for maintenance. Will try to keep expenses low. All major expenses will be by vote and everyone will be given a chance to give opinions and advice. All the details will be laid out clearly in the contract. For now the boat will be located in Culebra Puerto Rico in high season with easy access to the amazing Spanish, US, and British Virgin Islands all less than a day sail away, best cruising in the Carribean! The boat will be in Grenada for hurricane season and yearly msintenance. However partners can vote the boat elsewhere, in fact I am hoping we vote to move the boat every year or 2 somewhere else. I am not adverse to moving, I have probably already been there.
Next year where do you want to go? Leeward islands, The BVI? Just buy in and vote.
