MUCH MORE THAN ONLY BEAUTIFUL SHE IS SAFE, STRONG AND FAST
Citron Press has been our home for two years. A dream sailboat that never tired of surprising us. Due to the restrictions that the world faced in 2019 and 2020, we were forced to hire delivery service, it was necessary to remove the sailboat from the marina in Boston before the complete freeze, or it would stay there until early spring the following year. We hired Ike Bartlett and Caroline Bronsard to take the boat from the United States to the Bahamas, where we could board. As soon as she left Boston, she was already brave, facing the freezing weather of October, surprising the captains. She bravely crossed the waters fleeing the right freeze, disconcerted by her speed and firmness. Then she had to show herself once again bravely when she bravely faced the strong winds due to the passage of a hurricane. When we boarded in Freeport, we were able to see for ourselves why the captain wanted the Citron Press to belong to him. It didn't take much to experience its stability and security, plus it reacts quickly to any command. It heels a little when it enters the wind, making the crossing more pleasant. The route chosen by us to reach the Caribbean, was unusual. We left Inagua in the Bahamas and crossed straight to Luperon in the Dominican Republic against the winds and currents in record time. Each new captain who had the opportunity to make a small crossing with us was surprised by the sailboat's behavior in the waves. It was common to hear from them:
"It is the best sailboat I have ever sailed, it sails smoothly and steadily"
Another factor that draws a lot of attention is the size and comfort of the cockpit. Accommodates up to 9 adults, and the back support, is quite high, providing a lot of safety and comfort. If you have a child, you can't be more peaceful and happy.
