15' west wight potter 15 w trailer

Highly sought after West Wight Potter 15 on trailer. It was mistakenly registered and papered as a 14 thus it can be kept in certain harbors. I never corrected that and you probably wont either. There were 14's but they are older than this one. Had kept it side tied to my boat in Newport for years, trailered it home to build and install a taller mast and install a new bow pulpit, but then son bought a bigger boat so now the tall rig project is languishing and the boat is not being used. All parts are there just nobody has time for this cool little boat anymore and I need my RV space back. Will throw in the electric trolling motor we used if you give her a good new home. The sails are nearly unused, prior owner just parked her on a mooring to keep the moor occupied as was once required. My son and I sailed all over Newport and out to Catalina many time but moved up to bigger boats, now it's your turn. Has folding keel and rudder, easy to trailer, easy to to putt around in shallow water, these are bouyant for safety, you could cut the boat in half and both halves would float. Great little boat for the trailer sailer. These have a cult like following rarely come up so do not procrastinate. Avoid the cost and commitment of bigger boats like slips, moorings, bottom divers, etc and sail one of the safest and seaworthy little craft ever built. Trailer has 7/8" ball, I pulled it with a Jetta, so a pretty small car with a hitch will be adequate.
