Many people say, "Boats just are not build like they used to be". Our Arrow, a 1973 Carter 37, is a true testament to this statement. Built in the Olympic Shipyard in Greece, Arrow has a hand laid fiberglass hull, skeg hung rudder, and a large solid fin keel. Arrow is sea worthy, has classic styling, and a fast hull shape.
We love Arrow. We bought her in Everett, Wa in 2014. We have cared for, updated, equipped, and sailed her over 5000 miles since 2014. We are only selling because we are a family of four and two of our four, while quite small in 2014 when we purchase Arrow, cannot be described that way in 2023. We had to upsize.
We sailed her for years in the Salish Sea preparing her for a distant voyage including coastal and offshore sailing. We left the Puget Sound in 2018 and sailed as far south as Panama over several years. The cruising grounds here are incredible and a perfect place to begin a new adventure.

Presently, Arrow is on the hard. She has fresh brightwork, hull has been buffed and waxed, fresh paint applied, new starter battery and impellor installed. All her systems have been fully checked, serviced, and run over the last month. Zincs replaced. She is ready to splash and is the best looking boat in the yard....if I must say so myself.
