The innovative Gozzard 36 open plan is a refreshing departure from the traditional sailing yacht layout. Instead of dividing the interior into 6' sections, Ted Gozzard "imagineered" a uniquely functional and flexible plan. It must be seen to be appreciated. Lazy Jacks sleeps six in three separate cabins.
Recent Work - Fall 2021: All exterior brightwork professionally stripped and refinished with five coats of Cetol - Replaced fuel pump - Cushions removed and set out for deep cleaning - Replaced raw water hoses and hot water hoses - Replaced engine room blower fan - Replaced galley sink and head sink drains - Replaced head with Jabsco electric "vacuum" head and all head hoses, including the pumpout hose - Replaced the macerator pump - Replaced fire extinguishers - Replaced transmission cooler - Rebuilt cockpit tables - Cleaned up chafed engine wiring harness and added new wiring to glow plugs - Repaired engine mounts - Replaced house and starter batteries - Replaced fuel tank sender and gauge - Serviced staysail furler (bad bearing) - Replaced deck organizer sheaves - Installed handles in sole hatches - Replaced the cutlass bearing - Changed the dripless stuffing box - Repacked rudder post - Rebuild Edson steering system - New bimini - Relocated battery switch and replaced battery cables - Replaced inoperative dome lights (2) - Replaced windlass
In 20132014, Lazy Jacks returned to the Gozzard factory for an extensive refit. |
