Description: |
Turn key self-reliant crusier ready for the islands! We purchased this 1999 Hunter 340 from the most meticulous owners in 2023. They owned the boat for 20 years and spent more time maintaining it than using it. Over the last two years of ownership we've completely refit her for crusing and spent 15-20k on upgrades. She is a fractional rigged sloop with a in-mast furling. I've sailed her from the Great Lakes to Newfoundland, then south to the Bahamas. I love this boat and have maintained her as though my life depended on it. She's kept me safe but my sailing aspirations have grown. She won't get me across an ocean, but she will be a phenomenal crusier for someone looking to explore North America's east coast. Here is a list of recent improvements.
The jib, main, and spinnaker are in great condition. While the boat is currently rigged for easy short handed sailing (you can sail her entirely from the cockpit), the spacious aft cabin and v-berth can sleep four comfortably. The settee also folds down into a double berth.
Moonlight Lady currently sits on the hard at Stingray Point Boatworks in Deltaville Virginia. She comes loaded with spare parts, and the launching fee has already been paid for. Get some food, put some air in the dinghy, and sail away tomorrow. |
