Description:
Rave Hydrofoil Trimaran Sailboat
This sailboat has polyethylene hull and aluminum crossbeams. Custom built aluminum cranes allow the pilot to set the depth of the foils from the cockpit. The boat has a narrow hull with two amas, which has T foils on each. Each T foil has automatic flight control mechanism that controls angle and pitch of the foil. Foot steering allows the pilot to have hands free to control lines and sheets. Rotating mast and self tacking Jib. Racing rudder with joystick. Boat is designed to sail above the surface of the water and reach speeds 30mph.
