Description: |
1988 Hunter Legend 37 Sailboat First Try is a unique classic plastic sailboat that is ideal for Chesapeake and coastal sailing. Its a comfortable, luxurious and exciting weekend racer/cruiser! The Hunter Legend 37 is a unique cruise/racer that sails very well (check the SailboatData numbers), has unparalleled space utilization, and has a large rig but it still single and double-hand easy. Additionally, there are few cruisers of this size with a centerline aft berth thats a full-size bed - this Captains cabin was a huge perk for my wife & I. Also, the 4.75ft draft Shoal Keel (wing keel) makes it great for the Bay! We purchased the boat in March 2023 in Long Island, sailed it to Annapolis, and have been sailing and making improvements to it since. Weve sailed about 10-15 days per year since we bought it, and are selling because we have an infant & are moving to Virginia.
The boat is slipped at our house, and has been dutifully well cared for, is in great condition, and ready for her next owner. |
