Description:
Racer/Cruiser version of the 1976 World Cup Winner. This design is regarded as one of the most successful and desirable in sailing history, with this vessel having accumulated many accolades in just a few short seasons, built by Killian Busche and skippered by Harold Cudmore to victory in the ½ Ton World Cup and placed 2nd the following year launching them both to international stardom. Many sailed and survived the ’79 Fastnet and sailed in the ’76 OSTAR. One of the later built in the production run this one has been refitted in 2004 as a solo ocean cruiser.

Equipment:
18hpVolvo Penta(1998) with 50amp alternator, 320Ah battery bank with dedicated starting battery. Electronic and windvane self-steering, LED interior and navigation lights, Standard Horizon chartplotter with AIS overlayed, option to expand to overlay radar, VHF/DSC with gps and position polling. 25lbs CQR with 100ft of chain. Racnor furling racing profile. Mainsail slab reefing. 150 Genoa, 130 yankee, 100 no.3, spiniker. Twin spinnaker poles to allow twin headsail setting. Radar detection alarm . All new wiring lead to a IP65 enclosure containing fuses and switch panel. Instruments: Clipper Duo depth and log, Clipper compass, Clipper gps repeater, Clipper battery monitor. All rigging replaced in the last 5 years and all running rigging replaced in 2011.
