Description: |
1989 Catalina 34 1989. A medium sized coastal sailor, Kestrel is one of the few 34 foot sloops Catalina has produced. She is a comfortable and desirable vessel. A feature is the generous cockpit, unusually spacious and comfortable. On day sails, in the cockpit, on deck and below, 6 to 8 people are accommodated without crowding. A dodger keeps the passengers out of the wind, and a bimini out of the sun. It is cozy below with rugs on the floor, two cabins and a dining/lounge area. The galley contains a two burner gas stove, an oven, two sinks, Microwave, an ice box (with cold plate.) Meals are taken on deck or in the dining area. The two cabins are at the opposite ends of the vessel, one fore and one aft. Each has reasonable storage space, and comfortable sleeping accommodations for two. The dining table makes up to a comfortable queen size bed. The sanitary facilities are in a separate room, and include a shower. Hot water is available. There is generous space for the storage of towels and toiletries. The Diesel is most reliable, and there is fuel capacity for over a hundred miles |
