Description: |
1978 John Cherubini design Hunter 30 in ready to sail condition. We have just returned from 7 month cruise around US East Coast, Cuba, Mexico, Belize. For hurricane season the boat is ideally located in Rio Dulce, Guatemala. Marinas here are inexpensive ($180 per month with swimming pool, gym, bbq, lounge area). Relocate to tropics now! As Lin & Larry Pardeys say GO SIMPLE, GO SMALL, GO NOW! The boat is very roomy for a 30ft. Ideal for one or couple living aboard but can accommodate up to 6 people. Lots of maintenance and upgrades were done December 2015: Bottom was sanded down to fiberglass, no osmosis. 4 layers of barrier coat (Interlux) were applied, 3 layers of hard anti fouling paint (Trinidad 75), 4 layers of ablative paint (Interlux). The bottom was cleaned every month. New stainless shaft and strut. Bronze propeller was rebuild by a professional shop. Electrics was checked and updated. New batteries December 2015. Yanmar engine was remanufactured in 2012, has low hours, runs great. Sails are in good condition. Interior insulated with marine grade beige carpet, you will appreciate in tropics. All cushions were made in 2012. Additional 3" foam in the v-berth for comfort. Closed cell cushions in the cockpit. Jabsco Marine head was installed in 2013. Registered in Delaware, USA.
In September the boat will be listed with a broker for 15K. Grab a bargain before its too late! Send me an email if you have any questions. Thanks. |
