Description: |
I now own two Boats. Please buy this one. Victory is a 35-foot Oceanis that lives like a 40 ft. This is a wing keel that love a broad reach surf that will push her to 8.5 knots in 20 Knt wind. Construction utilizes a solid fiberglass composite hull and balsa-cored decks. Plywood replaces balsa as the core material in the area of hardware attachments. A considerable amount of the strength and rigidity of the structure is provided by a molded fiberglass composite hull liner that incorporates all floors, frames, stringers and rigging attachment points and is bonded into the hull before the deck is installed. Auxiliary power is provided by a 28 hp, three cylinder, Volvo diesel which is sufficient for the size and weight of this boat. The engine is dependable, and trained service mechanics are readily available. Victory has private accommodations for at least two couples and layout provides a forward v-berth cabin and a port side quarter berth cabin aft. The sail area to displacement ratio of the Oceanis 350 is only 16.2, which has proven to be great performer in boat is 8 to 18 knots. Victory has made 5 trips to St Micheal's this season, twice motoring the 22 miles the whole trip with no problems. She has always performed as designed. |
