| Description: | This boat is truly one of a kind. I bought it for my children several years ago but never got around to using it. It was built in 1965 along with a very small number of others like it. It was sailed in 1965 roughly 4 times and then stored for the remainder of its life. It has not been sailed or used since. It has been either covered or in storage and well maintained. Although it looks like it would be a high maintenance wooden boat, it is actually all low maintenance fiberglass. This boat has case silicone hardware such as the tabernacle base for the mast, portlights, winches, etc. In addition, it has a 500lb solid brass swing keel with boomkin, a a wine glass transom, an elephant ear rudder, straking in the hull, a separate removable lazarette engine well in cockpit under the seat, a bowsprit, and new upholstery. This boat does not have a mast or boom and the bow scoring is broken. The owner is a yacht carpenter with over 40 years of experience, so if those things need to be fixed before final sale, they can be with some additional funding. |
