Only 6 yachts in history have been built to the Harrison Butler Bogle Design. This design was first drawn by Dr. Harrison Butler in 1933 for the Little Ship Club designing competition and is named after THBs daughter-in-law, actress Joan Bogle Hickson, who in later years achieved world wide acclaim playing Agatha Christies Miss Marple.
Designed on the Metacentric Principal of hull balance, the Bogle has proved to be nearly a perfectly balanced hull, which allows her to sail in a straight line at any angle of heel. Bogles are a joy to sail, light on the helm, stand up well to their canvas, and are dry, buoyant, and very capable cruisers.
Trades for a day sailer of equal value considered. Consideration will be given to sincere and serious inquires only.
