comfortable V-Berth with storage everywhere: A drawer and cabinet under the berth and shelves along both hull sides. There is still more storage cabinets on the port side of the entrance and a hanging locker on starboard. There is good room to dress in front of the berth. The cabin like the entire boat is light and airy with a large opening hatch and 2 opening ports plus 2 12V reading lights. The Salon follows aft with U shaped convertible dining table/berth on starboard and straight settee across on port. There are cabinets and shelves above the seating on both hull sides built around a fixed port on each side, an opening hatch (has a Solar Vent) and 2 fixed ports that make the saloon very light and airy. Note: Opening ports re-potted and re-seated last season. The L shaped Galley follows aft on Starboard with double sinks, 2-Burner Stove with Oven (new solenoid installed last season), Adler Barbour Refrigeration. Lots of galley storage with cabinets under the sink and a bank of drawers plus 2 cabinets above the counter with cleaver drop down doors that serve as mini shelves. There is a nice garbage bin thru the counter by the sinks. An Aft facing Nav Station across on port with a large desk. The battery bank switch is under the desk and the Electrical Panel is above. Within easy reach is a VHF radio, the AC/Heat Pump digital controls and a Sony AC/DC/CD player. The well designed Head is aft of the Nav Station with a commode and a sink with pull out shower. New commode was installed last season. A medicine cabinet above the counter and an additional cabinet with access to head plumbing is under the counter. The Aft Cabin entrance is behind the Galley. There is room with the door closed to stand and dress. The Queen sized athwart ship berth is very comfortable. There is a combination drawer and cabinet at the entry with a shelf at the top. The Catalina 34 MKII is a comfortable performance cruiser and is very well maintained. She is worth seeing.
