40' Ta Shing Baba 40

A rare chance to purchase a legendary blue water cruiser. The baba 40 is a fast agile ocean goer from renowned designer Bob Perry built in the Ta shing boat works

This boat was rebuilt at professional boat yards in Lunenburg Nova Scotia intermittently throughout 2013 to 2019 by legends like Tern Boat works, top marine electrician Dave Evans and relaunched in 2020

The end cost of the rebuild was approximately $450 to$500 CDN

This ship is ocean-ready, looking for a new adventure captain :)

All tanks are refurbished and replumbed, everything is replumbed.
Every pump has been replaced.
Every system has a backup redundant system - from the racor fuel filters, of which there are 2 that can be instantly switched over in case of low flow, to duel raw water strainers on all intakes, to the three bilge pumps, and three maceration pumps on the head that can be rerouted at the flick of a switch.so much more to add, I can send a 2021 survey.

Deck and hull:

All through hulls were replaced with several glassed over and moved so all intakes are on the starboard side and all outlets on port.
All through hulls are commercial grade and all hoses are new top grade suited for the system.
All standing rigging and shrouds redone, as well as blocks replaced, and the mast repainted with new primary track system and secondary track for mainsail. The rigging is again commercial grade normally used for bridges, it is diamond shaped rods of stainless steel wound into a cable that's 3x more expensive than top end stainless shrouds.
