This classic Ted Irwin design is perfect for an affordable, comfortable liveaboard or a new sailor wanting to do some off-shore cruising! Former owner was a liveaboard in the Bahamas; recently she has made 6 trips to the Dry Tortugas for week- long cruises and countless outer island cruises. This is a stout, heavy and safe boat and has seen some serious weather in the Gulf and rides very comfortably and dry. Rigging has been maintained by Ocean Rigging, Yanmar 39 hp 3JH5X1 professionally maintained with all documents and only 784 hrs on 6-yr old engine and transmission. Comes with spare engine parts (alt, starter, raw water pump, filters, fuel pumps), fresh water pumps, spare bilge pumps, offshore safety equipment including harnesses and EPIRB. Hull is clean, 3 blade prop is 1 yr old as is strut bearing. 6 knots under power at 1900 rpm, .65 gal per hour consumption. 95 gal fuel and 100 gal H2O. Rocna anchor that sets EVERY time. Solar panels keep batteries charged and can run fridge during daylight, wind generator does the rest. Incredible ice chest freezer separate from refrigerator. Incredible because it keeps block ice for 8 days in the keys! Now for the projects- topsides paint, some older electrical, some older plumbing, rub rails, interior in some places and tired sails and blocks. I just got back from the Dry Tortugas and it is ready to go again. Price is firm and work that needs to be done is considered in pricing. Price is fair and no hurry to sell, so don't waste my time with low-ball offers and offers to sell for commission. You will be buying a boat that needs some work as you enjoy it!
