*** 2025 slip paid at Shore Point Marina. Enjoy sailing from April until end of November!!!***
Update #2 added a few new images from a trip I just took from Toms River to LBI - stayed over night and sailed back the next day 16 hours under sail round trip :)
For sale is a Corinthian 19. Also known as Bristol19. Full keel sailboat designed by Carl Alberg. Very similar to a Cape Dory Typhoon with classic lines and long overhangs.
She is a wonderful day sailer and a beautiful boat
Ideally for someone getting into sailing since it is a very forgiving vessel and great to learn with or an experienced sailor downgrading from a bigger size who wants a nice looking boat to go out for a few hours a day solo or with a friend or two. Good for camping out, gunkholing and just exploring in general. Again space in the cabin is not plentiful but doable for 2 max
With a 2.9' draft you will have great flexibility as far as sailing grounds in Barnegat Bay. I love anchoring in small coves/beaches to chill, eat, go for a swim and explore the shores by foot.
This is not an ideal trailerable boat. Too heavy.
She went through a major refit last Spring:
- New Bottom Paint Job - New Top Side Paint Job. used to be White - Rebuilt the entire bulkhead with coosa board 26/glass. Previous wood was rotten - Rebuilt the cockpit seats with Sapele Mahogany - Installed grab rails - Added an Anchor light this year
Deck could use a new paint job. I would say that is all left to do |
Equipment: |
She comes with:
- 1 x Main Sail - 3 x Jibs (Storm, Regular and Genoa) - All wood was sanded and varnished prior to 2025 season - Main Sail and Jib Sail Covers - 50 Watts Solar Panel (replaced in 2024) - Electrical Switch Panel to charge phone and power up other devices - Automatic/Manual Bilge Pump (replaced in 2024) - Navigation Lights (Green, Red) - 2 x Fenders - Bluetooth solar power weather station which connects to a phone or tablet and works as an electronic wind indicator. - Cockpit cushions - Auxiliary 3.2 HP 2 stroke Mercury Engine - Horizon Hand Held VHF Radio - Danforth anchor with chain and 70 feet of line
I have upgraded a lot of the hardware and all lines are now running back to cockpit for ease of solo sailing. |
