Tamarack is one of the best representations of Bruce Farr's designs from the late 80's. This particular design is one of the most famous, winning the gale swept Sydney Hobart race of 1993. Some famous Farr 43's include Wild Oats, which later became Wild Rose, and of course Drakes Prayer and Snake Oil all made sailing history for the design.
Tamarack has always been well cared for and is ready to be put back in the water and race. She is also a pleasant weekend cruiser and easily makes the desired destination in quick time.
Tamarack needs a good home, someone who has the ability to care for and upgrade her. If you can't afford to maintain a pedigree race boat, please don't waste my time. I'm not selling her to someone who can't take care of her. You need disposable income you can spend every year maintaining and upgrading this boat. She is currently being stored at an affordable location away from the water. The buyer would need to have her moved back to a waterfront boat yard by truck and put the life lines and stanchions and pulpits and helm back up. The mast and sails are being stored at a rig shop and sail shop. The price reflects the costs the new buyer will have to take on to get her launched.

The hull is Kevlar and E-glass over Divynecell core foam with S-glass reinforcements in high stress areas. Hull and deck are painted with Alexseal.

Fractions Halls Spars aluminum mast with triple spreaders and jumpers struts, Spinnaker pole, Selden sprit for Asymmetric spinnakers, Harken roller fuller, harken adjustable Genoa leads, Harken traveler with windward sheeting traveler car.

Barient winches, primaries are triple speed.

Sails inclue carbon main and light 155% by Hallet, Hallet .5 oz asymmetric spinnaker, heavy #1, #3, #4 and 4 symmetrical spinnakers.

engine is 2007 yammer with low hours, Max prop feather propellor,

Raymarine knotmeter, depth sounder and wind speed and angle.

2 Garmin 740 chart plotters, one at helm and one at nav station.
